Haut-Bailly Pessac-Léognan 2025 Pre-Arrival
$95.98QuickviewJD96-98DEC98JA98JS98-99NM96-98VM95-9798–99 Points – James Suckling
"A really refined Haut-Bailly with blackcurrants, violets, graphite and crushed stones. Medium- to full-bodied with ultra-fine tannins that spread beautifully across the palate. Elegant, precise and exceptionally long. A brilliant expression of the vintage."97–99 Points – Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
"Flowers, black currants, tobacco leaf, cedar, graphite, and crushed rocks create a stunning aromatic profile. The wine is fresh, vibrant, and remarkably pure, with layers of ripe fruit, silky tannins, and exceptional precision. The finish lingers with floral notes, cassis, and mineral complexity. This is one of the finest vintages ever produced at Haut-Bailly and a candidate for Wine of the Vintage."98 Points – Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux
"One of the most elegant wines of the vintage, delivering floral aromatics, graphite, cassis, and remarkable freshness. The balance between concentration and finesse is exceptional, with tremendous ageing potential."98 Points – Decanter
"Perfumed and beautifully detailed with layers of black fruit, violets, cedar and crushed stone. Silky tannins and vibrant acidity provide remarkable energy and precision throughout. A standout Pessac-Léognan."96–98 Points – Jeb Dunnuck
"Checking in as a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot, the 2025 Château Haut-Bailly is a sensational Haut-Bailly all about finesse and elegance. Ripe black cherries, currants, smoky tobacco, violets, spice, and flowers all define the bouquet, and on the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with a pure, graceful mouthfeel, ultra-fine tannins, and a very long, elegant finish. It's not a blockbuster, but it's exactly what this terroir yields with its complex, nuanced, layered, graceful style. You should buy this."96–98 Points – Neal Martin, Vinous
"The 2025 Haut-Bailly is wonderfully expressive, revealing cassis, blackberry, graphite, cedar and floral aromas. The palate is poised and refined with exceptional balance, beautifully integrated tannins, and impressive persistence."96–98 Points – Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent
"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Haut-Bailly bursts with bold notes of crushed black currants, wild blueberries, and strawberry preserves, giving way to a core of lilacs, licorice, espresso, and Sichuan pepper, with a touch of garrigue. The medium-bodied palate is tightly wound with black and blue fruit layers, framed by firm, fine-grained tannins and great tension, finishing long with red berry and floral sparks. Superb!"95–97 Points – Antonio Galloni, Vinous
"The 2025 Haut-Bailly is all class. Silky, polished and exceptionally refined, it offers layers of dark fruit, lavender, graphite, tobacco leaf and crushed rocks. The balance and energy here are simply outstanding."

Haut-Brion Pessac-Léognan 2025 Pre-Arrival
$399.98QuickviewJD97-100JS98-99NM98-100VM96-98RP98-10098-100 Points Yohan Castaing, Wine Advocate
"The 2025 Haut-Brion is, as usual, more reserved and austere at this stage than La Mission, unwinding in the glass to reveal notions of dark wild berries mingled with spices, pencil lead and licorice. Medium- to full-bodied, dense and layered, it's built around a multidimensional core of fruit framed by structuring yet well-integrated tannins, delivering a notably controlled expression of power and concluding with a long, perfumed, subtly ethereal finish. While still tightly knit at this stage, it possesses considerable depth and will require extended cellaring. It stands as one of the more impressive renditions of Haut-Brion in recent years."
98-100 Points Neal Martin, Vinous
"The 2025 Haut-Brion has a very pure and elegant bouquet with ebullient brambly red fruit, crushed stone, potpourri and touches of Earl Grey. Wonderful delineation and a little more refined than the 2020 or 2022. The palate is medium-bodied with very fine tannins, greater complexity than La Mission, more depth and minerality, finishing with a fresh, marine-tinged character that makes you want to come back. This year, the First Growth has put a bit of distance between itself and La Mission."
98-99 Points James Suckling
"Haut-Brion delivers a red with great structure and length and superb intensity and power. It is a full-bodied red with character and depth, giving it endless length. Muscular yet polished and agile. Juicy at the end."
97-100 Points Jeb Dunnuck
"A Merlot-forward blend of 62% Merlot, 26.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 11.8% Cabernet Franc aged in 60% new French oak, the 2025 Château Haut-Brion is slightly more dense and structured compared to its sibling, La Mission. Gorgeous black cherries, graphite, scorched earth, and smoke all define the bouquet, and on the palate it's remarkably pure, with polished, serious tannins, and incredible length. Its purity, concentration, and overall sense of class are riveting."
97 Points Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux
"Such a taut, slate-strewn journey through the palate here, slow burn. An exceptional Haut-Brion, with beautiful toasted cumin and sandalwood notes, cloves, cassis, pomegranate and cocoa beans. Muscular, structured and brooding, this is going to run and run."
96-98 Points Antonio Galloni, Vinous
"The 2025 Haut-Brion is quite the powerhouse. Black fruit, cloves, new leather, tobacco, chocolate and menthol open before a wave of huge tannins and incisive acids take over. Haut-Brion can be rather dark and somber. That is very much the case with the 2025, a wine that speaks with sepia-toned, baritone inflections. It also conveys more obvious ripeness than La Mission Haut-Brion at this stage."

Henschke Shiraz Hill of Grace 2018
$799.98HURRY, ONLY 1 LEFT!QuickviewJS99RP9899 Points! A superb and harmonious Hill of Grace with wonderful complexity on the nose that keeps bringing you back to the glass. Minty blueberries, red berries and some blackberries. Heather and violets with beautifully integrated spices of peppercorn and five spice. Graphite, salt chocolate and cigar box, too. Intense, lush and concentrated. This is barely full-bodied but the concentration is simply effortless and the flavors grow on the palate. Super silky and svelte tannins glide through the even and cohesive palate. Persistent finish, lasting for more than two minutes. Let it breathe if you decide to open it now, but it will sleep well in your cellar, too. - JamesSuckling.com
98 Points! The Hill of Grace vineyard, in Eden Valley, comprises 13 separate blocks, six of which feed into the Hill of Grace Shiraz. The oldest block (0.56 hectares), known as "Grandfathers," was planted around 1860. The other blocks were planted in 1910 (0.33 hectares), 1951 (1.08 hectares), 1952 (0.7 hectares), 1956 (0.88 hectares) and 1965 (0.57 hectares). The 2018 Hill of Grace Shiraz was matured in a combination of new (20%) and seasoned (80%) oak hogsheads (83% French, 17% American) for 18 months prior to blending and bottling. On the nose, the 2018 vintage assists this wine in speaking clearly of its regional location: raspberry and licorice, coal dust, black tea and tobacco leaf. There are inflections of black truffle and bone broth, which always seem to emerge, however the wine is brighter and more focused than I have seen. It offers a beautiful, svelte display of fruit and tannin, with all things in harmony in the mouth. This is very long, as we would expect from the pedigree of this wine and the vineyard. It is concentrated and intense, sinewy, elegant and powerful—a wine for the future generation. - Erin Larkin, robertparker.com

Hermanos Peciña Rioja Crianza Senorio de Peciña 2019
$21.98QuickviewHURRY, ONLY 6 LEFT!92 Points! The textbook traditional red 2019 Señorío de P. Peciña Crianza was produced with their classical blend of Tempranillo with small percentages of Garnacha and Graciano. It fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured in used American oak barrels following the most orthodox tradition, for two years, a lot longer than required to obtain the category. It has spicy notes, a hint of cigar box and forest floor and is a powerful and ripe year, when the wine achieved 14.36% alcohol and good freshness and acidity. It has a medium to full-bodied palate with a chalky mouthfeel, fine tannins and a slightly dusty and rustic touch that would welcome food. - Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com
