Hickinbotham Cabernet Sauvignon Trueman McLaren Vale 2019
$69.98HURRY, ONLY 1 LEFT!QuickviewRP94Dark as night, packed with concentrated aromas of menthol, bay leaf, tobacco, cedar, vanilla and cassis, the 2019 Trueman Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, powerful Cabernet with notable herbal overtones. Full-bodied, ripe and velvety in texture, it finishes with hints of dark chocolate and scorched coffee. Long and structured, with dusty tannins on the finish, it should age well ... 94 Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate
"Swanky oak adds top-note aromas of cedar and spice to the redcurrants and blueberries on offer here, as well as some dark-stone notes. The palate has such convincing structure with powerful fruit-tannin drive carrying deep, saturated blueberry and plum flavors long." 94 JamesSuckling.com Learn More -
Hickinbotham Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon McLaren Vale Trueman 2016
Special Price $44.98 Regular Price $90.00Out of StockQuickviewWS94JS95RP94Out of stock95 Points! A fresh and fragrant cabernet with violets and dark rose-like floras, cassis and blueberries. There is also a decent serving of spicy oak in the mix. The palate is smoothly arranged on sheets of formidably strong tannins, which are carried seamlessly into the finish. A stunning cabernet. Best from 2022. - JamesSuckling.com
94 Points! The inky purple 2016 Trueman Cabernet Sauvignon is a super effort. It boasts intense, classic aromas of pencil shavings and cassis on the nose, then delivers rich waves of velvety but structured fruit on the full-bodied palate. If there's any complaint, it's that it's perhaps a bit too monolithic, but it's a young wine and should add layers of complexity given enough time in the cellar. It's not unapproachable now, but it probably won't fully hit its stride for at least five years and then be drinkable for at least a decade after that. - Joe Czerwinski, robertparker.com
94 Points! Juicy and vibrant, showing terrific purity to the raspberry and black cherry flavors at the polished and refined core, with supple tannins and details of Earl Grey tea, violet and toasted cumin. Impressive for the seamless harmony and the creamy texture, this shows a tug of grip from the tannins on the finish. - Wine Spectator

Mitolo Shiraz Savitar McLaren Vale 2019
Special Price $29.98 Regular Price $75.00HURRY, ONLY 0 LEFT!QuickviewVM94RP95Out of stock95 Points! The 2019 Savitar Shiraz was my pick of the bunch. This is serious, precise and driven and, again, sourced from Whites Valley, as is the 2019 GAM Shiraz. The maturation rolls out in 100% French oak. The extract here is savory and firm; the fruit is driven by tannins, and they really screw down the fruit and compress it in the glass. It’s tight. One can see that the longevity of this wine may outweigh that of the others, making it quite a layered and exciting wine to drink—certainly now, but in the future too. - Erin Larkin, robertparker.com
94 Points! Classically dense and modern, the 2019 Savitar is a massive crowd-pleaser that will knock your socks off. There is immense colour - it's almost black as the ace of spades. The nose is hit with wave after wave of dark fruits, liquorice, blackberry, chocolate and spice. It's big but balanced; luscious flavours and sweet oak provide a long, supple finish. An excellent vintage of Savitar. - Angus Hughson, Vinous Media

Noon Tawny Port 500ml

Medium amber-brown in color, NV Noon Tawny gives aromas of spice cake, macerated raisins, hazelnuts, dried figs, manuka honey, dates, baklava and light brown sugar. Very sweet and rich well, the concentrated flavors and sugar are off-set nicely by crisp acid that runs the length of the palate. The finish is long a layered with notes of walnut cake. Drink it now. Tir na N'og Grenache Old Vine McLaren Vale 2021
Special Price $19.98 Regular Price $50.00Out of StockQuickviewRP94Out of stock94 Points! The 2021 Tir na N'og Old Vine Grenache is dark, spicy and brooding on the nose, with layers of Christmas spice, black and red berries and the earthy base of licorice and iodine. In the mouth, the wine silky, dark and statuesque. The tannins are very finely countersunk into the fruit; they are chalky and gently grippy and shape the fruit in the mouth. With very good length of flavor through the finish, this is built to last some time. Very smart. - Erin Larkin, robertparker.com
