This is how we do things:

All prices are net and subject to stock on hand unless we mention otherwise. All orders are subject to our acceptance and we may refuse any order at our discretion. Although it rarely happens, prices are subject to change without notice, both up and down. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors.

All information, documents, images, and HTML formatting are copyrighted and may not be reused or copied without permission.

Wines may be sold only to persons at least 21 years of age. By placing an order, you are warranting to us that you are 21 years of age. Any order placed by someone under 21 constitutes fraud…and that’s bad.

Wines may be delivered only to persons at least 21 years of age. Our shipping agents will require a signature of someone at least 21 years of age at the time of delivery. Valid ID may be required. If the wine is returned to us for failure to provide positive proof of age, the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping charges.

All prearrival/special orders are subject to a 20% cancellation fee at our discretion. Any noted dates for the expected arrival for “pre-arrival/special orders” are best estimates.

For our older wines we generally source straight from Europe. But on some older vintages we will source stateside if the product is in excellent condition. That being said we will strive to insure these older vintage wines are tip-top. However, be advised that for red wines that are ten years or older and whites five years or older, it is the industry standard and the policy of Bestwinesonline.com LLC that such wines are purchased at the buyer's risk. Caveat emptor.

We have two separate options for holding your wine (both become available to you in our checkout process).

  • The first is called "Local Pick up/ Will Call" - This option is for customers who are local to us, or will be visiting our physical location to pick up their online purchase. [Please note: If you select this option you are agreeing to pick-up your entire order from us within 30 business days. If you do not pick up within these 30 days your order may be subject to a refund and your items restocked into our inventory. Additionally, if not picked up within a timeframe that is deemed reasonable (3 months +), your 'Will Call' order(s) may be subject to a monthly storage fee of $5 (per case) thereafter.

  • The second is called "Hold For Future Shipment" - This option is for customers local and abroad who would like to wait for more favorable weather conditions or for consolodation of their wines (building cases / waiting for pre-arrivals etc.) in order to ship. We will gladly hold these wines for an extended period of 6 months in our climate controlled warehouse at NO charge to you. Once this time period of 6 months has reached its limit, your order(s) may be subject to a monthly storage fee of $5 (per case) thereafter, beginning the first day of the seventh month. This hold option is only available for individual orders of 6 bottles or more.

The "Hold For Future Shipment" Option must be used for all orders that will be held longer than 30 days at the Winex facility. You may choose to select and pay for a shipping option and specify a date to ship only if your date of shipment is within 30 days from your date of purchase.

We do our best to process all orders recieved by 3pm (PST) on that same day. Sometimes unforseen circumstances may put your order off until the next business day, so for this reason we encourage you to utilize the comment box on your order with any special shipping instructions or date requests.

Due to individual state restrictions we currently cannot ship to these states: Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Utah, Kentucky, North Dakota, Illinois, Iowa & Pennsylvania.
