Agustín Lopez, Mauricio Castro, Marcela Manini and Sebastian Zuccardi met at the Liceo Agrícola & Enológico School in Mendoza Argentina when they were 17 years old and they eventually formed Alma 4. Two years later, the quartet vinified 300 bottles of Methode Tradicional wine in 1998, their first year of production. Over 20 years later, they are still making wine together and they currently produce 5 sparkling cuvees from parcels located in the Uco Valley ranging from 1300-1550 meters above sea level.

60% Assyrtiko (white grape) – 40% Mandilaria (red grape). Brief pre-fermentation cold maceration. 50 years old vines from the viticulture areas of Exo Gonia, Megalochori, Messaria and Akrotiri. White wine vinification from then on, ageing on the lees for five months.

A blend of 36% Grenache, 24% Syrah, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cinsault, 8% Rolle, 5% Caladoc, and 4% Counoise, the 2025 Coteaux D'Aix En Provence Rosé is a clean, classy rosé with light red fruits, white flowers, and chalky minerality on the nose. It's medium-bodied on the palate, with a fresh, focused mouthfeel, clean acidity, and just perfect overall balance. 93 Points! The 2025 Rosé Ode to Lulu is vividly fruit forward, with a rush of crushed white cherries and wild strawberries complicated by nuances of chlorophyll and wet stone. This splashes across the palate with ease, soft yet stimulating with a solid core of citrus-infused green melon. A sweet herbal resonance lingers over hints of tangerine, as the 2025 leaves the palate completely refreshed. 92 Points! The 2025 Ode To Lulu Rose is a bright medium pink color and remains classic and refreshing, with notes of white strawberries, white peach, sour cherries, lime, and saline earth. Medium-bodied, it has bright acidity and a chalky structure. Made mostly from old-vine Mourvèdre with less Grenache and more Carignan in this vintage to preserve freshness, it’s killer as always. 95 Points! Very pale in colour yet surprisingly concentrated for a wine of such light hue, delivering lots of delicate red berries and an ample palate with plenty of fleshy fruit and texture. The 100% Garnacha fruit is sourced from 70- to 90-year-old vines on several plots at 600m-750m. Only half of the free-run must is used, fermented plot by plot in small oak vats, with the wine remaining on its lees for at least four months before a final selection and blend is made. Wonderfully elegant with stony minerality, this is seamless, fruity and refined, with a very moreish finish. A really clear definition of the region. - Decanter Magazine

94 Points! The top rosé is also extremely young. The 2025 Flor de Muga Rosado was produced with the direct pressing of Garnacha grapes from the Najerilla and Oja valleys, grapes that usually ripen but keep a pale red color and are not suitable for red wines. It fermented in small oak vats, where it was kept with fine lees and bâtonnage for four months. This is even paler and certainly subtler, more elegant and complex than the regular rosé. It comes in at a lower 13.5% alcohol, keeping very good freshness, reflected by a pH of 3.27 and 6.2 grams of acidity. The NV Champagne Premiere Cuvée Extra Brut Rosé has a salmon/pink hue and jumps from the glass with a floral perfume in its aromas of salted grapefruit, rose water, strawberries, and green melon. Compact and medium-bodied, it offers a good deal of intensity and power through the palate, with a spritely mousse and a citrus-driven, mouthwatering finish.
