  1. Pavillon de Leoville Poyferré St. Julien 2015
    JS93
    WA90
    $39.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! In spite of the generous ripe fruit, this also has the cool elegance and slightly austere finish of St.-Julien. Considerable intensity without any sense of heaviness make this an impressive example of modern winemaking. Second wine of Château Léoville Poyferré. - JamesSuckling.com Learn More
  2. Giraud Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition 2016 WS Top 100 2018 #31
    WS95
    JD95
    $39.98
    Availability:In Stock
95 Points! Moving to the reds, the base 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a blockbuster, and this is one of those cases where you have to wonder if it’s worth the cost of the special cuvées when this wine is so good. Maire describes the 2016 vintage as a mix of the 2010 and 2007 vintages, and I can’t disagree. This beautiful 2016 offers a terrific nose of black raspberries, garrigue, and peppered meat in a full-bodied, ripe, incredibly sexy, seamless style. It has a boatload of tannins, and despite its intensity and richness, is still elegant and seamless. Buy a case of this, trust me. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More
  3. Faiveley Corton Clos des Cortons Grand Cru 2001 Pre-Arrival
    VM93
    $149.98
93 Points! Good full medium red with just a trace of amber. Alluring, vibrant aromas and flavors of red and darker berries and salty minerals. A silky, savory, very pure midweight with subtle intensity and harmonious framing acidity providing excellent definition and a delightful light touch. This beautifully balanced, minerally wine finishes with lovely rising length and nicely resolved yet still-firm tannins. If the 2002 was disappointing, this one is a clear success in the context of its vintage. (13.2% alcohol; 3.45 pH; 3.5 g/l acidity; 42 h/h) - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media, March 2019 Learn More
  4. Henri Boillot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Mouchere 2017 Pre-Arrival
    WA94-96
    VM94-96
    $139.98
94-96 Points! From an enclave within the premier cru Perrières, Boillot's 2017 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Mouchère is utterly superb this year, wafting from the glass with aromas of lemon oil, mandarin orange, beeswax, iodine and subtle smoky reduction. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, satiny and layered, with striking volume and depth at the core, balanced by incisive acids that animate the long, mineral finish. Guillaume Boillot speculates that this monopole's comparative variety of mesoclimates and soil types lends the resulting wine greater complexity than would be the case with a small cuvée. - William Kelley, robertparker.com Learn More
  5. Christian Moreau Chablis 1er Cru Vaillon 2017
    BH89-92
    NM91-93
    VM91-93
    $49.98
    Availability:In Stock
91-93 Points! The 2017 Chablis Vaillons 1er Cru is 40% fermented in barrel that was blended with tank wine two weeks previously. The bouquet is a little muted at the moment, possibly from the recent blending however, the palate is very promising with a killer line of acidity that lends so much tension, almost to the point of shrillness (but avoiding that – the pH is 3.19 for those interested). This just revives the senses and there is wonderful salinity on the aftertaste. Superb. - Neal Martin, Vinous media Learn More

93 Points! The 2016 Saint-Drézéry La Closerie du Pic is a blend of 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah with the Grenache aged all in concrete tanks and the Syrah in new and once used French oak. This beauty offers killer notes of blueberries, blackberries, peppery herbs, earth, and graphite. Silky, full-bodied, with awesome purity of fruit, sweet tannin, and a great finish, it’s another great wine from this estate. It’s going to benefit from a year or two of bottle age and keep through 2026. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More

  9. Jean Francois Ganevat Cotes du Jura Blanc Chardonnay Les Grands Teppes Vieilles Vignes 2015
    WA96-97
    $99.98
    Availability:In Stock
96-97 Points! Always the more complete among Ganevat's Chardonnays, the 2015 Les Grands Teppes Vieilles Vignes is close to 15% alcohol in this excellent vintage, but again, the alcohol and ripeness are not noticeable and are perfectly balanced by great freshness in the form of very low pH. It has a captivating, smoky and leesy nose, with floral notes and hints of pollen, quite austere in the palate with a chalky texture and a completely dry finish. This will be the last of the whites to be bottled. This is a monumental Jura Chardonnay that should age very nicely and for a long time in bottle. - Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com Learn More
  10. Jean-Francois Ganevat Cotes du Jura Blanc Chardonnay Cuvee Florine 2015
    WA90-92
    $64.98
    Availability:In Stock
90-92 Points! The lighter of the Chardonnay bottlings is keeping its character in the exceptional 2015 vintage, and the 2015 Cuvée Florine, named after Ganevat's daughter, showed that fresh and mineral side. There will be three new Chardonnays in 2015, including La Gravière and Les Cèdres, from an old grower at Château Chalon who is now an employee at Ganevat and continues working his vineyard and delivering the grapes to Ganevat! - Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com Learn More
  11. L'Eglise Clinet Pomerol 2018 Pre-Arrival
    WS95-98
    DEC97
    JD96-98
    JS99-100
    WA96-98
    VM95-98
    $299.98

99-100 Points! This is incredibly powerful with fantastic depth and length. It goes on for minutes. Full-bodied yet so tight and intense. Blackberries and hints of spice. It has such energy and persistence. It is a wine that makes you really reflect. Bravo. Tiny production. - James Suckling, jamessuckling.com

97 Points! This is rich, with layers upon layers of black chocolate, ripe fleshy blackberries and raspberries tempered by acidity and tannins that support, pushing the entire palate slowly onwards and upwards. It has all the generosity of the vintage but tempered with Durantou's amazing ability to sculpt freshness out of the fruit his vineyards deliver. It’s immensely seductive and powerful with more evident flesh than the 2016 – a wine that’s going to run and run. - Decanter

96-98 Points! One of the true “wow” wines in the vintage, the 2018 Château l'Eglise-Clinet is a blockbuster offering stunning notes of black currants, roasted herbs, truffle, earth, and graphite. It's a ripe, voluptuous, and incredibly opulent wine that has full-bodied richness, no hard edges, silky tannins, and gorgeous length. The blend is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, all harvest in September, and raised in 70% new oak. It has remarkable purity, as well as balance, and will benefit from 5-6 years of bottle age and evolve for two decades or more. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com

  12. Terrebrune Bandol Rosé 2018
    VM92
    $29.98
    Availability:In Stock
In the 2018 lineup, this could well be the MVP (Most Valuable Pink). These folks have been doing great work for a while but the 2018 just seems to have a little bit more 'pop' and vigorous yet engaging fruit. As is the norm, Mourvedre (50%) is the star of this show with the other half of the wine is split roughly equally between Grenache and Cinsault. Half of the juice is saignee (bled from the red grapes) while the other half is made directly into rosé. Limestone and organic farming are key elements in this story, with this pink as the happy ending. Equal impressions of both berries and yellow stone fruits like peach and apricot, that cool, funky little twist is the Mourvedre speaking its piece, and there's a nice touch of minerality to the finish. 13. Mas de Daumas Gassac Picpoul de Pinet 2018
    $11.98
    Availability:In Stock
Importer notes: From vineyards very near the oyster beds on the Mediterranean sea, this wine is a classic example of why Picpoul is known as the "Southern Muscadet". Intriguing, briny mineral notes in both the nose and mouth provide the perfect backdrop for fish and shellfish. Some melon and citrus flavors keep you coming back for more and the crisp acidity assures that your palate does not tire from this zesty wine. The Guibert family were approached a few years back by the owner of this fine five hectare site very near the village of Picpoul, just a stone's throw from the sea. The soil is limestone and gravel, and the higher elevation and proximity to the cool sea breezes make for a wine with excellent freshness. Picked in the early hours of the morning, the grapes are then fermented by the Daumas Gassac team in stainless steel tanks and left on their lees for 3-5 months. Learn More

    JD95
    $24.98
    Availability:In Stock
95 Points! As with the Southern Rhône Valley, Bandol appears to have had a banner year in 2016, and the 2016 Bandol from Domaine La Bastide Blanche is straight-up brilliant. Beautiful dark fruits, plums, spice, cedars, and garrigue notes all emerge from this full-bodied effort, which has terrific purity of fruit, a layered, opulent texture, sweet yet present tannins, and a great finish. This is brilliant Bandol! - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More
