This wine takes its name from the two plots from which it comes :

    • LES PLUMES: Plot in the town of Meursault with predominantly clay soil.
    • THE TOPO DU CLOU: In the town of Meloisey, this young vine, on a hillside, next to our Hautes Côtes de Beaune Blanc, has a predominantly limestone terroir.

From the importer: This is a delicious white wine that is young, stylish, and is a little different. It is pale gold in color and offers a well-balanced taste, and ranges from a fruity bouquet with notes of apple and lemon to a more floral palette. In the mouth, this vibrant wine tickles the taste buds.  It is a perfect match for grilled fish, and its liveliness and citrus notes stand up well to the saltiness of oysters and strong goat cheese. 91+ Points! Luminous straw-green. Honey, white flowers, crushed rocks and lemon oil all come alive in this nicely chiseled, creamy yet vibrant Prosecco. Showcases gorgeous balance and plenty of early appeal, but also offers plenty of richness and depth. This serious, luscious Prosecco is my early candidate for Brut Prosecco of the year. The name of the wine derives from a very old forest located near the estate. Made from roughly 96% Glera and 4% Chardonnay.
