  1. Marietta Zinfandel Alexander Valley Estate Grown Angeli 2016
    JD93
    VM92
    $29.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! The 2016 Zinfandel Angeli (96% Zinfandel, 2% Syrah, and 2% Petite Sirah) comes from Alexander Valley in the northern part of California. Its plum/purple color is followed by a rockingly good bouquet of spiced plums, cedar, sandalwood, and exotic spice. Medium to full-bodied, focused, elegant and seamless, with a silky texture, it's very much in the style of the 2016 vintage. While already hard to resist, it should keep for 6-7 years. It's a great value. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More
  2. Marietta Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Grown Armé 2016
    VM93
    $19.98

93 Points! The 2016 Armé is another superb wine in the middle tier of the Marietta range. Fresh, savory and super-expressive, the Armé has a lot going on. Black cherry, sage, lavender, menthol and licorice give the wine striking savory nuance to play off the dark Cabernet Sauvignon fruit. More than anything else, though, the Armé is a superb value in California Cabernet. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media Learn More

    JD94
    WA93
    $39.98

94 Points! On another level, the 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Réserve des Vignes Centenaires is unquestionably the most sexy, ripe and exuberant in the lineup, offering kirsch liqueur, graphite, garrigue, and ample spice. It's rich, full-bodied, beautifully textured, and sexy. This beauty is based on 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre, raised in 30% new French oak. Don’t miss it! - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More
  5. Beaux Freres Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2017
    WS93
    VM92-93
    $53.98
    Availability:In Stock
92-93 Points! Limpid violet. Ripe, spice- and smoke-tinged black raspberry, cola and a hint of musky flowers on the deeply perfumed, expansive nose. Juicy red and dark berry liqueur flavors are sharpened by a spike of smoky minerality and pick up an allspice nuance with aeration. Concentrated as well as lively and focused, with no rough edges. A sexy floral quality emerges on the energetic, spice-laced finish, where well-knit tannins add shape and gentle grip. - Josh Raynolds, Vinous Media Learn More
  6. Leo Steen Cabernet Franc Santa Cruz Mountains Ascona Vineyard 2017
    VM93
    $39.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! The 2017 Cabernet Franc Ascona Vineyard is one of the most distinctive wines in Leo Steen's range. Powerful and explosive, it packs a real punch in its dark fruit, sage, tobacco, espresso and licorice flavors. The 2017 is a dark, imposing wine, and yet it also has quite a bit of varietal character. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media Learn More
  7. Alary Cairanne La Brunote 2016
    JD91
    WA93
    $19.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! Like the Vieilles Vignes, the 2016 Cairanne la Brunote is looking even better from bottle than it did last year out of tank. It's 60% Grenache, with the remainder a co-fermentation of Carignan and Mourvèdre. Two demi-muids account for approximately 15% of the blend, while the rest of the blend aged in concrete tanks. From older vines and richer clay soils, this is brighter and fresher than the Vieilles Vignes, with perfumed, mixed-berry fruit and just a hint of cocoa. It's full-bodied, richly concentrated and silky in texture, with a long finish that leaves you searching for another sip. - Joe Czerwinski, robertparker.com Learn More
  8. Tenuta Greppo Biondi-Santi Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2001
    WS93
    WE96
    VM94
    $399.98
    Availability:In Stock
94 Points! Biondi-Santi's 2001 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is just as terrific in bottle as it was when I tasted it from cask last year. A dark, translucent red, it reveals superb freshness in its aromatics, with notes of small red fruits, spices, flowers, mint and anise that you could get lost in. It is perhaps less rewarding on the palate today, but its class is amply evident in the purity of its fruit and silkiness of its tannins. This is a wine built for tertiary development that will occur over the following years and decades. Readers who appreciate classically built, age-worthy wines and have the time to wait will find much to admire. In the meantime, this Brunello is all about potential, and there is plenty of that here. It is a great effort. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media Learn More
  9. Antinori Solaia Toscana IGT 1998
    VM93
    $219.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! The 1998 Solaia is an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Not a blockbuster, the 1998 has developed nicely, but also appears to have limited upside potential from here. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media 2013 Learn More
  10. Cheval Blanc Saint Emilion 1996
    VM93
    $549.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! Bright red. Fresh floral, white pepper, raspberry and strawberry aromas on the captivating nose, lifted by minerals and Oriental spices Very fresh, balanced and pure on the palate, with bright red berry, floral and delicately smoky plum flavors. Very cabernet franc, and very Cheval Blanc! The lively, harmonious acids keep this wine light on its feet and really extend the flavors on the back half. The long finish features a subtly spicy kick and smooth tannins. A touch more density and it would have scored even higher. The harvest took place between September 28 and October 4. - Ian d'Agata, Vinous Media, 2011 Learn More

  20. Pesquie Cotes du Ventoux Terrasses 2017
    JD94
    WA91-93
    $11.98
    Availability:In Stock
94 Points! Longtime readers will know that I love this cuvée, which is year in, year out, one of the great value buys out there. The 2017 Terrasses is even better than the 2016 and ranks with the finest vintages I’ve tasted, matching the stunning 2010. The essence of kirsch liqueur, wild strawberries, and wildflowers flow to a full-bodied, plump, deep, beautifully layered and sexy wine that has medium to full body, ripe tannins, notable minerality, and a great finish. A blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah that was all destemmed and brought up in concrete tanks, this is a raw, naked expression of this fabulous terroir located just south of Mount Ventoux. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More
