Right off this forthcoming wine offers waves of white peach, Bosc pear and Meyer lemon aromas. Also in this harmonious mix are baked apple, chestnut honey, bees wax, present in the background. It is truly fruit-rich in the mouth, where the texture is almost sinewy and the flavors are a luxuriant mix of apple, honey, pear skin, roasted grain, citron and a smack of citrus at the end. It is at the finish that the wine reveals its relative youth, as fresh apple and citrus flavors stay dominant as in the mouth. Learn More
  2. Samuel Billaud Chablis 1er Cru Sechets Vieilles Vignes 2017
    WA92-94
    NM92-94
    VM92-94
    $36.98
    Availability:In Stock

92-94 Points! The 2017 Chablis Séchet 1er Cru comes from 70-year old vines that sees no wood contact. It has a classic Chablis nose of flint and smoke though, it takes a little coaxing from the glass. The palate is very well balanced with a twist of bitter lemon on the entry, focused and full of tension with a brisk, quite intense citrus finish that feels very persistent. This has great potential. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media

  3. Melville Chardonnay Sta. Rita Hills Estate 2016
    VM92
    $27.98
    Availability:In Stock
92 Points! The 2016 Chardonnay Estate (Sta. Rita Hills) is a gorgeous wine built on freshness and cut. Expressive floral notes add shades of nuance to this super-expressive, complex Chardonnay from Melville. The 2016 is the first vintage made by Chad Melville, and it shows a preference towards a less reductive style that characterized the wines during Greg Brewer's tenure. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media Learn More
  4. Christian Moreau Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos Clos des Hospices dans Les Clos 2014
    WS95
    WA97
    $119.98
    Availability:In Stock
97 Points! Tasted blind at the Burgfest annual tasting, Moreau's 2014 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos des Hospices has a clean and precise bouquet with flint and chalk aromas complementing the citrus fruit. The palate is fresh and vibrant with plenty of salinity, great tension and poise. It just delivers everything that a Chablis Les Clos should, offering hints of fresh ginger and a pinch of white pepper on the finish. This is an outstanding Chablis that will give immense pleasure. I initially thought that the regular bottling of their Les Clos would be the pick of the two, but now in bottle, the Clos des Hospices seems to have decided that it should be the "guv'nor". I would still afford it another two or three years in bottle. - Neal Martin, robertparker.com Learn More

  6. Dauvissat-Camus Chablis 1er Cru La Forest 2013
    VM93
    $99.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! Bright, pale yellow. Less fruity and exotic than the Montée de Tonnerre, hinting at oyster shell on the nose. Sappy, chewy and concentrated but quite dry; distinctly more stony and mineral than the Montée de Tonnerre and every bit as long. This struck me as like a mini-Clos. An outstanding and ageworthy 2013 but it's not especially austere today. - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media Learn More
