This wine literally tastes like summer, bright, sunny, quenching. A blend of Vermentino (Rolle), Clairette and Sauvignon.

93 Points! Based on 65% Rolle, 20% Sauvignon Blanc, and 15% Clairette fermented in stainless steel and kept on the fine lees for five months, the 2025 Coteaux D'Aix En Provence Blanc reveals white peach, white currants, and citrus-like fruits intermixed with salty minerality and white flowers on the nose. It's medium-bodied, vibrant, fresh, and focused on the palate, with clean acidity and a great finish. It's a serious, brilliant white from this producer that's going to absolutely shine on the dinner table. Drink bottles over the coming 2-3 years, although I wouldn't be surprised to see it keep longer. - Jeb Dunnuck

95 Points! I continue to love this wine from Ferraton. Their 2019 Hermitage Les Miaux reveals a medium gold hue as well as a classic bouquet of caramelized citrus, quince, white flowers, marzipan, and white flowers. Rich, medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured, and balanced, this is a rock star bottle of wine that's going to drink brilliant for upwards of a decade, and I suspect an extended aged example will also show brilliantly. - Jeb Dunnuck

What isn't in a name? It doesn't say it on the label but Duband’s Vosne-Romanée comes from 90% “Les Barreaux” (medium-steep slope above Richebourg and Cros Parantoux; 300-340m; p.1950s) and 10% “Aux Ormes (gentle slope east of village center; 235m; p.1990).

I repeat, 90% of this wine comes from the vineyard next to Richebourg and Cros Parantoux.  Look 'em up, pick your jaw up off the floor, then click and buy this wine. Insane value here.

The vineyard is located on terraces of galets roules, 60% Grenache Blanc and 40% Clairette.

What a deal! Prat Sura is the name of the small river passing by the bottom of the winery's slopes. it is from the provencal language (Occitan) “Prat Sourias” the plateau of garrigues got the same name. It is a very dry area. Prat Sura is a kind of single vineyard, but could commenly be a “climat” as it is called in Burgundy. 

From a parcelof less than an acre. This Montmains comes from the Butteaux part of the appellation, right in front of the village of Courgis. The vines are old, planted in the late 1950s.

Great Vermentino from Corsica is one of the coolest white wines on the planet right now. 

The 2020 La Belle Citadelle Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of crushed blackberries, cassis, violets, pepper, and a touch of cedar. On the palate, it delivers layers of ripe currant, black cherry, and plum framed by smooth tannins and lively acidity. There’s enough richness to satisfy Cabernet lovers, but the freshness and balance keep it dangerously drinkable. It’s medium to full-bodied with a clean, polished finish that makes it incredibly versatile at the table.

A pure, marine-inflected opening—iodine, lemon peel and oyster liquor mingled with beeswax and dried apricot—precedes a concentrated yet tensile palate of taut muscularity. Bright acidity and abundant chalky extract lend the wine a bracing, kinetic edge, culminating in an intensely saline, persistent finish. 92 Points! The 2023 Chablis—sourced chiefly from vineyard parcels that border La Forest—continues to distinguish itself as one of the finest examples in its category. Its bouquet weaves together citrus oils, pear and white peach. The medium- to full-bodied palate is ample and textural, displaying considerable depth and energy that persist through to a long, sapid finish. 97+ Points! An example of purity and stony tension, Vincent Dauvissat’s 2022 Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses is the crowning achievement of an extraordinary portfolio. With an understated Chablisien character, it opens in the glass to reveal a marine bouquet of oyster shell and iodine mingling with lemon zest and white flowers. A cuvée I would never bet against, Vincent Dauvissat’s 2022 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos is generously structured and leaps from the glass with a bouquet of kaleidoscopic complexity, featuring notes of white peach, beeswax and lemon oil blending with marine flavors. Multidimensional and concentrated, it is supported by racy acidity and concludes with a long, chalky finish. At present, it is more fruit-forward and muscular than Les Preuses but not at the expense of the tension and chalky extract one expects from it. “Deep purple-hued, the 2025 Château La Dominique is a reserved yet clearly promising Saint-Emilion based on 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc, raised in 50% new barrels, 35% once-used barrels, and 15% amphora. Ripe black fruits, smoky tobacco, gravelly earth, and graphite all define the nose, and on the palate, it's rich and medium to full-bodied, with ample mid-palate volume, ripe tannins, and a great finish. It checks in at 13.6% alcohol with a pH of 3.68 and is very much on the focused, dense, concentrated side of the vintage.”
