- Saxum James Berry Vineyard Bone Rock Paso Robles 2006 (Stained Label)WA96+$129.98Availability:In Stock
96+ Points! No wimpy wine, the 2006 Bone Rock James Berry Vineyard (76% Syrah, 18% Mourvedre, and 6% Grenache) has over 16% alcohol. It possesses phenomenal texture, stunning purity, and remarkable freshness, which, again, is attributable to the limestone soils as well as the proprietor’s brilliant hands-off winemaking philosophy. A complex perfume of roasted meats, black fruits, spring flowers, charcoal, and spice is followed by a wine of enormous richness (yet it is neither overweight nor heavy). Beautiful freshness permeates the wine’s black fruit flavors and full-bodied power and length. The finish lasts for nearly a minute. This 2006 should evolve for 12-15+ years. - Robert Parker, robertparker.com
Learn MoreHURRY, ONLY 2 LEFT! - Léoville Las Cases Saint Julien 1989WA91$274.98Availability:In Stock
91 Points! One of the most youthful wines of the vintage, the 1989 Léoville Las Cases unwinds in the decanter and glass with aromas of blackcurrant and pencil shavings, framed by a discrete patina from its aging in oak. Medium to full-bodied, deep and tightly wound, it's impressively pure and vibrant, though it lacks the mid-palate plenitude of the vintage's best wines, displaying a touch of tannic asperity on the finish. I wouldn't be surprised to see it continue to improve with further aging, though my sense is that the Cabernet Sauvignon might have been picked a little prematurely in this vintage. - William Kelley, robertparker.com, 2022
Learn MoreHURRY, ONLY 1 LEFT! - Le Gay Pomerol 1989WA92$149.98Availability:In Stock
92 Points! This wine seems to get better and better, and is certainly the only great Le Gay of recent years. This dark ruby/purple-colored wine has a nose of blueberries, minerals, and white flowers. The wine shows plenty of sweetness, real opulence, high tannins, but sweeter, more civilized tannins than most Le Gays tend to possess. It is a very muscular, full-bodied style of wine that should age effortlessly for another 15-20 years. Anticipated maturity: Now-2020. Last tasted, 11/02. - Robert Parker, robertparker.com

94 Points! This is so decadent and exciting on the nose, with very ripe fruit, tobacco, meat and cedar. Full-bodied, offering amazing raspberry fruit in the core of the palate. Ultrapolished, velvety tannins wonderfully coat every inch of your palate. This will age for years ahead, but it’s so lovely now. Much better than many people think. ’89/’99 Bordeaux blind retrospective (2009). - Wine Spectator

Learn MoreHURRY, ONLY 1 LEFT! - Glaymond Shiraz The Distance Barossa Valley 2006WA92$34.98Availability:In Stock
92 Points! The 2006 The Distance Shiraz was sourced from a 47-year-old estate vineyard. A glass-staining opaque purple color, the nose emits scents of toasty oak, pencil lead, scorched earth, blueberry, and blackberry liqueur. On the palate this full-bodied wine is layered, dense, and structured, with enough stuffing to develop for another 4-6 years. It should be at its best from 2013 to 2030.
Glaymond is the hangout of rising star Damien Tscharke whose family owns the vineyards. They are located in some of the most prime real estate of Barossa Valley. Chris Ringland is the winemaking consultant. Those who love no-holds-barred, big Barossa behemoths should check out Glaymond. - Jay Miller, robertparker.com February 2009
Learn MoreHURRY, ONLY 1 LEFT! - Greenock Creek Shiraz Apricot Block Barossa Valley 2006WA91+$59.98Availability:In Stock91+ Points! The 2006 Shiraz Apricot Block is also closed down and tannic. Its aromatics are reticent and the structure dominates the fruit at the moment. Whether it will come into balance remains to be seen. - Jay Miller, robertparker.com December 2009 Learn MoreHURRY, ONLY 7 LEFT!
- Greenock Creek Shiraz Alices Barossa Valley 2006WA91+$59.98Availability:In Stock91+ Points! The 2006 Shiraz Alices is more dense and saturated than the Seven Acre cuvee. It exhibits a brooding nose of smoke, lavender, damp earth, game, and blueberry. Firm and a bit closed down on the palate, this structured effort is still tightly wound and will require extended cellaring of 6-8 years. It seems to have all the right stuff to ultimately reveal its full potential but time will tell. - Jay Miller, robertparker.com December 2009 Learn MoreHURRY, ONLY 3 LEFT!
