  1. Santoleri Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Crognaleto 2010
    $34.98
    Availability:In Stock

Sourced from (at the time) 40+ year-old vines, the 2010 Crognaleto is a Montepulciano masterpiece from a classic vintage. The fact the winery aged it 10+ years then sold it to us for a song remains a delicious, value-riddled mystery. What a wine!

  2. La Sibilla Falanghina Campi Flegrei 2022
    $19.98
    Availability:In Stock

From the importer: Proprietor Luigi DeMeo talks about the Campi Flegrei terroir more than the varieties, but they are also doing genetic testing on the Falanghina. Falanghina Beneventana, from around Benevento, to the north-east of Naples is a completely different variety than Falanghina Flegrea from the Campi Flegrei (near Naples). At La Sibilla, they are growing Falanghina Flegrea, and this is a very distinctive example of how delicious Campanian white wines can be.

It delivers a crisp minerally character while also showing appealing aromas and flavors of citrus, flowers, and tarragon. This is an excellent seafood wine. I also drink it as a dry aperitif, with olives and salami, while deciding what to make for dinner.

91 Points! With bright and glossy aromas of apple, quince, tropical fruit, white licorice and honeycomb, the organic 2021 Taburno Falanghina del Sannio is a terrific value wine with versatile drinking appeal. This lean-bodied white is easy and forthcoming, but it also delivers budding complexity thanks to lingering mineral and limestone. - Monica Larner, robertparker.com

  9. Tiberio Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo 2022
    VM94
    $21.98
    Availability:Out of Stock
95 Points! Deep pink: this is a much deeper colour than usual for this wine, almost pale red in fact. Red cherry, cranberry, almond paste and flowers on the perfumed deep nose. Nicely fleshy on the palate, with red berries and chewy herb-accented forest floor flavours that are very pure and fresh. The energetic and brisk finish showcases surprising weight and glyceral personality to the repeating red cherry and berry nuances. Maybe the best ever Cerasuolo from Tiberio: the 2022 vintage benefited from noteworthy wind currents that led the grapes to develop thicker skins, meaning more extraction and a rounder, bigger mouthfeel to the wine but without losing any of its trademark elegance. - Ian D'Agata, Terroir Sense

94 Points! The 2022 Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo seduces with its perfumed blend of crushed cherries and strawberries, complemented by rhubarb, violets and sweet smoke. It’s racy and sleek, built on energy, with a mineral core that grips the palate. A cascade of wild berries is excited by tantalizing acidity. This finishes dramatically long, lightly structured and full of zesty tension as salty nuances combine with tart red fruits and hints of sour citrus. The 2022 takes Cerasuolo to a whole new level. This is more a red than a Rosé, and with a bouquet to match. - Eric Guido, Vinous Media
