  1. Chateau L'Argentier Cinsault Vieilles Vignes 2019
    $16.98
    Availability:In Stock

From the importer: Cinsault is one of those overlooked grapes most usually consigned to oblivion as rosé. In the skilled hands of the Jourdans, however, it proves to be a wine of irresistible charm. The color is light, to be sure, but the heady strawberry scent is beguiling and the 40 year-old vines lend to the palate a startling intensity of sweet fruit flavour, cloaked in the gentlest imaginable veil of silk.

  2. Turley Cinsault Bechtold Vineyard 2022

90 Points! The 2022 Cinsault Bechthold Vineyard comes from the oldest Cinsault vines in existence, planted in 1886. It has a pale ruby color and bright aromas of red cherry, cranberry, allspice and autumnal hints of leaves and earth. The light-bodied palate is soft and juicy with generous, crunchy fruit and a satisfying, spicy finish. - Erin Brooks, robertparker.com

    VM93
    $19.98
    Availability:In Stock

93 Points! The 2022 Cinsault is a delight. Bright and effusive, the 2022 is superb. Crushed flowers, red/purplish fruit, spice and lavender are all beautifully lifted. This mid-weight, deceptively light-bodied wine is superb. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

  5. Quintaluna de Ossian Verdejo Castilla y Leon 2019
    JS92
    WA91
Special Price $17.98 Regular Price $29.98
    Availability:In Stock

92 Points! A full-bodied white with sliced apple, white pineapple, waxy lemon and some pear. Slightly waxy. Long and flavorful. An excellent example of verdejo. Drink or hold. - JamesSuckling.com

91 Points! The 2019 Quintaluna, pure Verdejo from the province of Segovia, fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and was kept with the lees for nine months. A small fraction of the wine was in oak foudres and barrels. This feels like a ripe vintage, not as ripe as 2017 but with an exotic touch and more varietal notes of freshly cut grass. It's balanced and soft, with integrated acidity and rich flavors. - Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com

Quintaluna expresses the genuine character and freshness of Verdejo. The grapes are sourced from a range of small vineyards across various towns in northern Segovia: Nieva, Aldeanueva del Codonal, Aldehuela del Codonal and Santiuste de San Juan Bautista. The vineyards are planted on sandy soils with a high codon content, bringing minerality, freshness and finesse to the wine. Most of the vines are ungrafted, dating back to the 19th century prior to the phylloxera epidemic having been protected from the devastating plague by its sandy soil. A smaller section of the vineyard is comprised of younger vines that are hand-selected and low-yielding.

  7. Pedro Parra Cinsault Itata Valley Trane 2018
    WA93
    $34.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! Pedro Parra considers John Coltrane an innovator and creative jazz musician, after whom he named the 2018 Trane, a single-vineyard Cinsault from a plot of highly decomposed granite soils. It fermented in concrete with indigenous yeasts and some 30% full clusters and matured in 1,500-liter oak vats for 11 months. It's extremely chalky and perhaps a little rounder and gentler compared with its siblings. It has a little more concentration and clout, but at the same time, it doesn't reach the elegance of the other two. There are some similitudes here, because they all come from granite soils that mark all of the wines very much. - Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com Learn More
