93-94 Points! There’s a powdery and open texture to this red. Full-bodied and layered with a pretty and weightless texture. Blackcurrants and blueberries and an orange-peel undertone. Velvety texture at the end. 70% cabernet sauvignon, 15% merlot, 13% cabernet franc and 2% petit verdot. - James Suckling

92-93 Points! The 2023 d'Armailhac is an attractive effort, bursting with aromas of cherries, raspberries, licorice and cigar wrapper. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and succulent, with a pretty core of fruit, sweet powdery tannins and lively acids, it's a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot—which is a rather high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon for this address. - William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

91-93 Points! The 2023 d'Armailhac was picked from September 7 to 30 and aged in 50% new oak. It contains the highest percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon to date. Its tightly wound bouquet demands encouragement from the glass, perhaps just missing the panache that elevated the previous vintage. You could argue that this seems more “serious.” The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins and a firm backbone. It’s a little pepperier than previous vintages, closing with a streamlined finish. Give this two or three years in bottle. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media

96 Points! Great depth and freshness, fleshy nectarine and spiced pear, fennel and oyster shell, grilled oak and genersoity. Balances salinity and flesh, expertly judged. Harvest August 29 to September 6, 45% new oak for ageing. Co-fermented Muscadelle with Sauvignon Gris. - Jane Anson

94-95 Points! The density and beauty to this is so attractive, with a lush and flavorful character, yet it’s neatly framed by acidity and minerally undertones. Lively and salty. Part of the vineyard is on limestone, which gives that sea-salt undertone. Savory. Fresh at the end. 50% sauvignon blanc, 44.5% semillon, 5% sauvignon gris and 0.5% muscadelle. - James Suckling

92-94 Points! The 2023 Aile d'Argent soars from the glass with energetic notes of lemon drops, fresh grapefruit, and lime blossom followed by hints of wet pebbles and fennel seed. The light to medium-bodied palate is refreshing and pure, with a chalkiness to the texture and a zesty finish. The blend is 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 44.5% Semillon, 5% Sauvignon Gris, and 0.5% Muscadelle, with pH 3.20. It is being aged for 9 months in oak barrels, 45% new. The alcohol is 13.5%. - Lisa Perotti-Brown, The Wine Independent

91-93 Points! The 2023 Aile d'Argent contains a little more Sémillon than usual (44.5%) to add texture to the blend. It has a lovely bouquet with grapefruit, hints of lime cordial, chamomile and lanolin. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, fresh and focused, with just a slight bitter lemon note imparting tension. A hint of ginger rises on the aftertaste. Superb. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media

94-95 Points! A subtle yet plush La Lagune with black olives, blackberries and hints of chocolate and hazelnut. Medium body with fine, polished tannins and a savory finish. There's a crunchy feel to it and it’s layered and deep at the end. 65% cabernet sauvignon and 35% merlot. No petit verdot. - James Suckling

92-94 Points! The 2023 La Lagune is a serious wine, but it is also quite backward. Dark red cherry, plum, spice, leather and dried herbs open with some coaxing. The 2023 is going to need time to come together. Its aromatic intensity and overall persistence suggest it has a bright future. Tasted two times. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

93-94 Points! The 2023 Nenin is very attractive, bursting from the glass with aromas of raspberries, dark berries, rose petals and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and supple palate that's pure and sensual, with a succulent core of fruit, sweet tannin and an immensely charming profile that promises a broad drinking window. - William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

92-94 Points! The 2023 Nenin is a classy wine that marries power with nuance. Cabernet Franc plays prominent role here, and that comes through in its aromatic presence and overall feel. There's also a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon, which no doubt contributes to the wine's profile as well. Rose petal, mocha, spice, licorice, leather and cefar are all laced together in this powerhouse Pomerol. I can't wait to see where this goes. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

94 Points! Mocha, blood orange, creamy ripe damson and black fruits, a swirl of peony flowers, succulent but without being heavy, this is a great Nenin, showing potential of the property's 20 year old Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, used in the blend for the first time in this vintage. - Jane Anson

The wine is a blend of 58% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. 15% ABV, 3.65 pH. Drink from 2025-2040. - Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider

91-93 Points! The second wine of Calon Ségur, the 2022 Le Marquis De Calon is more Merlot-dominated and checks in as 58% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It has an up-front, lush, medium to full-bodied style as well as textbook notes of darker, currant-like fruits, leafy herbs, and lead pencil savings. It's an outstanding second wine that will shine right out of the gate. - Jeb Dunnuck

91-93 Points! One of several over-performing second wines in this vintage is the 2022 Le Marquis de Calon-Ségur, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and seamless Saint-Estèphe redolent of minty berries, licorice and rose petals. Lively and penetrating, it punches above its weight. - William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

94-96 Points! One of the more opulent, sexy wines in the vintage, the 2022 Château Capbern just about jumps out of the glass with its sweet red, blue, and black fruits as well as notions of chocolate, graphite, and leafy herbs. Full-bodied, concentrated, and textured on the palate, with ripe tannins, this stunning Saint-Estèphe is up there with the finest vintages I've tasted from this château. - Jeb Dunnuck

92-94 Points! Spring mint, currants, black cherries, tobacco, and a touch of spice in the nose lead the way to the palate, which, even though the alcohol is high, the fruits feel fresh, and lively, with no touch of heat. You find a nice touch of oceanic influence at the end of the finish. The wine blends 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. 15% ABV, 3.8 pH. Drink from 2026-2040. - Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider

92-93 Points! A firm and tight red with blackberry and currant character. Medium body. Bright and savory. - James Suckling

91 Points! Smells gorgeous, rich and vibrant with dark bramble berry tones. Blackcurrant and black cherry. Quite tannic straight away, they make the impression, slightly grainy and chalky giving a wide, expansive and mouth coating feeling. Bold, but clean and clear, it has a nice crispness as well as depth with some minty, herbal liquorice, flint and clove aspects on the finish. Slightly lifted in terms of alcohol impression at the end, sticking out a touch, but overall this is quite streamlined and sleek, not plush at all but cooly concentrated with a subtly juice core. 1% Cabernet Franc completes the blend. 3.25% pH. Ageing 18 months, 60% new french oak barrels. - Georgina Hindle, Decanter.com

91-93 Points! Made from 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Capbern is deep garnet-purple in color. It sashays out with flamboyant scents of warm cassis, fresh blackberries, and cherry pie, followed by suggestions of sassafras, cedar chest, and iron ore. The concentrated, full-bodied palate is jam packed with black fruit flavors, supported by finely grained tannins and just enough freshness, finishing decadently rich and with great persistence. pH 3.8. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent

90-92 Points! The 2022 Capbern was cropped at 26hL/ha between 6 and 27 September, a 20-day cuvaison and matured in 60% new oak for a planned 18 months. The Cabernet Sauvignon berries were tiny this year, which underlies why the Merlot comprises a higher percentage of the blend. It has an airy, floral bouquet with blackberries, wild strawberries and a touch of raspberry confit. There's an almost Pinot-like purity. The palate is medium-bodied with a grippy, peppery entry, full-bodied and muscular at the moment. I'm seeking a bit more grace here - perhaps this Saint-Estèphe is slightly over-revving on the finish? - Neal Martin, Vinous Media

90-92 Points! Notes of dark berries and cherries mingled with licorice and loamy soil introduce the 2022 Capbern, a medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy wine framed by ripe, powdery tannins and concluding with a long, somewhat heady finish. It's a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and the balance Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, picked between the 6th and 27th of September. - William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The palate is full and very direct and focused, with a long, salty dried lemon finish and minerality. Fine phenolics at the end. 63% sauvignon blanc, 35% semillon and 2% muscadelle. - James Suckling

95 Points! Mint, white peach, green apples, and pear aromatics open the perfume. 92-94 Points! The 2022 Pape Clement Blanc was cropped at 35hL/ha between 28 August and 2 September and matured in under 20% new oak. It is very fragrant on the nose, with lemon verbena, white peach and honeysuckle scents. Really fine definition and sense of focus. The palate is well balanced, a little steelier and more linear than recent vintages with plenty of tension on the saline finish. This should age well in bottle. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media

92-94 Points! The second wine of Lynch Bages is the 2022 Echo De Lynch-Bages, a ripe, medium to full-bodied, structured beauty with a kiss of classic Lynch Bages richness and depth. Cassis, black raspberries, graphite, dried flowers, and hints of chocolate all define the aromatics, and it has ripe, fine tannins, good mid-palate depth, and outstanding length. - Jeb Dunnuck

93 Points! Blue fruits, subtle perfume, a juicy blackcurrant and stony minerality on the nose. Supple and juicy, a real sense of fun with detail to the fine tannins. Well balanced, gorgeous texture, depth and characterful. A great second wine still with terroir markers, a salty finish, chalky texture and grippy tannins. Still concentrated and serious, there’s an intensity to the fruit but really well delivered. Will be a beauty. 91 IPT. 3.69pH. Ageing 14 months, new and one year old oak barrels. 3.9 g/L total acidity. 91 IPT. - Georgina Hindle, Decanter.com

91-93 Points! The 2022 Echo de Lynch Bages is a powerhouse. Super-ripe dark cherry, plum, spice, leather, dark chocolate, licorice and incense saturate the palate with notable richness. This is one of the most opulent, flamboyant Echos I can remember tasting. It will be interesting to see if some of the brooding intensity softens over time. Drinking window : 2025-2037 - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

90-92 Points! The 2022 Echo de Lynch Bages, aged for 14 months in one-year-old oak, has a slightly timid nose at first. Very pure blueberry and cassis fruit emerge with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, fine acidity, quite compact on the mid-palate with a touch of pencil lead toward the finish. This is a fine, quite sturdy Deuxieme Vin that will need 4-5 years. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media

This medium to full-bodied, layered, elegant barrel sample has terrific tannins, perfect ripeness, and outstanding length. Tasted twice. - Jeb Dunnuck

93 Points! Super perfumed on the nose. Sharp, just shy of sour blackcurrant and black cherry on the nose and palate, vibrant. Lovely crushed stone and powdery texture to the tannins - they're prominent giving some tightness on the mid palate with a liquorice and dark chocolate edge to the frame towards the finish. Serious but well worked, lean but detailed, just a bit tense right now though does feel sculpted with a cool minty freshness on the finish. Tasted twice and kept the higher score. Rolland & Associés consultants. - Georgina Hindle, Decanter.com

93-94 Points! Juicy fruit here with dark berry, slate and sea salt aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with linear and fine tannins, and a juicy finish. - James Suckling

92-94 Points! The 2022 Côte de Baleau has a well-defined bouquet with black cherries, bilberry and floral scents, quite complex and focused. The oak is nicely integrated here. The palate is medium-bodied with more pliant tannins than many of its peers, lending it a rounded texture, beautifully balanced with a minerally finish. This represents a big step up from the 2021. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media

91-93 Points! Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2022 Cote de Baleau bursts forth with bold notes of plum pudding, baked blackberries, and cedar chest, plus wafts of Indian spices and forest floor. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers mouth-coating black fruits with ripe, rounded tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long and spicy. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent

91-93 Points! Flowers, black raspberries, licorice, espresso, and black cherries form the core of this wine. Bright red-toned fruit, chalk, mint and white pepper lend notable brilliance to this mid-weight Saint-Émilion. Côte de Baleau is usually pretty forthcoming. Sweet, long, and round, with a chocolate covered black cherry filled finish. The blend is 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. All that extra Cabernet really makes a difference adding more freshness, complexity, and individuality. Drink from 2025-2042. - Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider

93-95 Points! The 2022 Fleur Cardinale is a blend of 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep garnet-purple in color, it gallops out with energetic notes of stewed black plums, kirsch, and blackberry pie, followed by wafts of violets, dark chocolate, and star anise. The full-bodied palate is concentrated, packed with black fruit preserves, and framed by ripe, rounded tannins, finishing long and with just enough freshness. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent

94 Points! Full and concentrated in the mouth, beautifully intense blackcurrant and black cherry fruit with quite impressive and imposing tannins that coat the mouth though with cool blue fruits and wet stones giving freshness and minerality. Nie sense of style, a little compact right now, but there's a juicy centre and the tannins have a lovely texture. Will be nicely filling and enjoyable when ready, still with clean edges and very precise sculpting. Harvest 19-30 September. Yield of 38hl/ha. 3.68pH. Ageing for 12-14 months in French oak, 72% new. - Georgina Hindle, Decanter.com

The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet, slightly candied entry, dry tannins and an earthy finish. Like some other Saint-Émilion wines this year, it needs more brightness and, perhaps perversely, is missing the charm of the previous vintage. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media

90-92 Points! The 2022 Fleur Cardinale is soft, open and forthcoming. Dark fruit, chocolate, sweet spice, leather and licorice all open nicely. There's good depth but less in the way of energy or excitement. All the elements are very well balanced. Perhaps I caught this on a quiet day. Tasted two times. 92 Points! Fresh and fruity aromas on the nose, bright and lively. Sharp with high acidity at the fore - just the right side of sour, with lively strawberry and red cherry flavours. Lovely powdery tannins have a nice expansive texture but also keep definition and a sense of gentle grip all the way through. On the more linear side now, strict and focussed with lovely fruit purity and such overall charm. Really quite approachable with tang and definition and still some power underneath that extends into a long, mineral finish. Feels a touch high alcohol on the finish but there’s a lot to like here. Ageing in 30% new oak. Harvest 17 September - 3 October. - Georgina Hindle, Decanter.com

91-93 Points! The 2022 Saintayme is bright, floral and vibrant in this vintage, almost surprisingly so. Crushed red berry fruit, rose petal, chalk, mint and white pepper all run through this taut, nervy Saint-Émilion. All the elements are so well balanced. I especially admire the wine's persistence and inner perfume. Terrific. Drinking window : 2026-2037 - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

91-93 Points! Black cherries, and flowers, with licorice and cocoa nuances are found on the nose, and palate. Medium-bodied, with a core of lusciously-textured, plums and chocolate, here, the vibrancy and elegance in the fruits really stand out, giving you a nice freshness to the sweet fruits from the mid-palate through to the finish. This will be ready-to-go on release. Made from 100% Merlot, 14.4% ABV, 3.7 pH. Drink from 2025-2038. - Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider

91-93 Points! The 2022 Saintayme is 100% Merlot and has a deep garnet-purple color. It bursts from the glass with bombastic scents of blackberry preserves, juicy black cherries, and chocolate mint, leading to wafts of black pepper, tar, and clove oil. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock-full of exuberant black fruits, supported by ripe, rounded tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing with a real skip in its step. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent

90-92 Points! All Merlot from a mix of terroirs, the 2022 Saintayme has impressive darker cherry and blackberry-like fruit as well as medium to full body, a terrific chalky mineral character, ripe yet firmer tannins, and outstanding length. - Jeb Dunnuck

94-95 Points! Polished and refined with a deep core of ripe berries with walnut undertones. Medium- to full-bodied with firm, velvety tannins and a lingering finish. Deep and complex. - James Suckling

92-94 Points! A blend of 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36.5% Merlot, 19.5% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot, the 2022 Potensac is deep garnet-purple in color. It needs a bit of swirling to bring out notes of crushed blackberries, cassis, and warm plums, with hints of cracked black pepper and fertile loam. The medium to full-bodied palate is packed with black fruit preserves, supported by firm, grainy tannins and just enough freshness, with loads of savory sparks on the finish. Nice! - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent

92-94 Points! Tobacco leaf, cedar, peppery herbs, and black fruits show on the nose, and on the palate. There is volume, intensity, concentration, tannic structure, and a regal bearing for the wine on the palate. By miles, this is the most complete vintage for Potensac I have ever tasted. The wine was produced from blending 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36.5% Merlot, 19.5% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.14.52% ABV. Drink from 2026-2045. - Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider

91-93 Points! The 2022 Potensac has an intense bouquet with layered red and black fruit, cedar and light mint aromas. This is a Potensac with purpose. The palate is a little creamier than previous vintages on the entry, but then the tannic framework makes its presence felt. Firm grip, quite fresh and sappy with a fine thread of acidity maintaining poise. This is a superb Potensac. Tasted twice with consistent notes, though the wood came through more at the château compared to another at Boissenot's tasting. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media

91-93 Points! The 2022 Potensac is super-expressive right out of the gate. Black cherry, plum, lavender, spice, and gravel are all beautifully delineated. Pliant and beautifully layered, the 2022 marries density and vibrancy to great effect. There’s quite a bit of tannin, but also enough fruit to balance things out. The 2022 is a serious Potensac, that is for sure. Once again, Jean-Hubert Delon and his team made a Médoc that overdelivers big time. Drinking window : 2027-2042 - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

90-92+ Points! The 2022 Château Potensac is based on 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, and the rest Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and a splash of Petit Verdot. It has lots of ripe blue fruits, graphite, and gravelly earth to go with full-bodied richness and depth on the palate. It's a big, rich, tannic Potensac that's going to be long lived. I suspect 3-5 years of bottle age will be warranted here. - Jeb Dunnuck

95-96 Points! A juicy and flavorful red with blackberry, chocolate and hazelnut character. Medium to full body. Structured yet juicy. Plenty of grip and structure. Savory. Salty. Most impressive wine I have had from here. Pure merlot. 80% aged in cask. - James Suckling

92-94 Points! This medium to full-bodied 2022 Marsau is an attractive wine produced from 100% Merlot. It has a delightfully pure bouquet of peony, violet, iris, menthol and cassis, followed by a crunchy and juicy yet fresh texture and then by a mineral-driven finish of remarkable purity, expressing elegant notes of licorice and pencil lead. Anne-Laurence and Mathieu Chadronnier have produced a red wine that punches above its weight. Bravo! - Yohan Castaing, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

94 Points! Lovely dark fruity fragrance with perfumed floral aromas on the nose, smells expressive and open. Smooth and supple, a lovely combination of tension, mouthwatering acidity and fruitiness here, such sleek texture with definition and soft juiciness. The tannins have grip and purpose with a softly fleshy and mineral sensation - liquorice, wet stone and graphite - giving a wide and interesting expansion on the palate. Feels cool and controlled, serious and focussed, with balance, still with concentration and power and grip. Feels very classy on the palate. - Georgina Hindle, Decanter.com

90-92 Points! The 2022 Marsau is powerful, rich Cotes de Bordeaux. It emerges from a 12-acre, biodynamically farmed parcel of Merlot on clay 20 kilometers east of Saint-Émilion. Dense and vibrant, the 2022 possesses notable density in its fruit and also plenty of structure. Marsau is unique in that it is aged 80% in foudre, the rest in used oak, tank and amphora. Larger format oak naturally yields a wine that is quite reticent within the context of Bordeaux, especially en primeur. Drinking window : 2025-2034 - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

95-96 Points! Lovely fruit here with black berry, redcurrants and tile aromas and flavors. Medium- to full-bodied, very well integrated tannins and a lightly chewy finish, showing the potential of the vintage. - James Suckling

94-96 Points! Flowers, black cherries, black raspberries, wet earth, forest herbs, and a touch of crushed stone opens the aromatics. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, silky, fresh, and more importantly, the fruits express purity. The wine has lift, vivacity, spices and dark chocolate that accents the fruits. Not the most concentrated wine of the vintage, instead you find elegance, length and precision. The wine blends 88% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon. 15% ABV, 3.7 pH. The wine is aged in 50% new, French oak, and 10% amphora. Drink from 2026-2045. - Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider

93-95 Points! The 2022 La Dominique is stellar. Rich, deep and beautifully layered, the 2022 impresses with its fine balance. Succulent red/purplish fruit, lavender, spice, rose petal and mocha all take shape in the glass. All the elements come together beautifully in a polished, notable La Dominique. Tasted two times. Drinking window : 2028-2047 - Antonio Galloni

91-93 Points! Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2022 La Dominique needs a swirl or two to unlock notes of juicy blueberries, blackberry pie, and kirsch, giving way to underlying wafts of pencil shavings and tar. The full-bodied palate is plush and juicy, with bags of expressive black and blue fruits, finishing with a red berry lift. The blend this year is 88% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent

90-92 Points! A rich, heady wine, the 2022 La Dominique offers up aromas of sweet cherries, baked berries and plum liqueur mingled with notions of licorice and melted asphalt. Medium to full-bodied, broad and fleshy, with a rich core of sweet, somewhat jammy fruit but reasonably lively underlying acids, it's framed by plenty of powdery tannin. I had entertained higher hopes for La Dominique this year, but perhaps the pace of ripening was just too rapid for the estate's technical team. - William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

93-94 Points! Very bright and clear with dark chocolate and citrus. Medium body. Lightly chewy, fine tannins. Well-structured. Vivid. - James Suckling

92-94 Points! A terrific Saint-Emilion in the making, the 2022 Château Haut-Brisson excels in the vintage. Giving up lots of smoky red and black fruits, graphite, and leather on the nose, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, a layered, nicely balanced mouthfeel, quality tannins, and outstanding length. - Jeb Dunnuck

90-92 Points! The 2022 Haut-Brisson is a sensual, mysterious wine. Soft contours wrap around a core of black cherry, mocha, lavender, licorice and cedar. This open-knit, vibrant Saint-Émilion is surprisingly restrained for the year. Tasted two times. Drinking window : 2025-2037 - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

90-92 Points! A blend of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Haut-Brisson reveals aromas of dark berries, spices and licorice, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent palate framed by powdery tannins and concluding with a long, saline finish. It's a successful wine from the Vignobles K portfolio. - Yohan Castaing, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
