  5. Bedrock Sauvignon Blanc Sonoma Valley 2023
    $24.98
    Availability:In Stock

From the winery: The 2023 Sonoma Valley Sauvignon Blanc comes from three stony-soiled sites found throughout the Valley of the Moon. The majority comes from the north-facing slopes of Uboldi Vineyard in Kenwood, with the balance from Bedrock Vineyard on the Agua Caliente bench and Judge Vineyard in Bennett Valley. 70% of the wine was barrel fermented in predominately neutral French and Austrian oak barrels (in total about 8% new oak), and 30% was fermented in tank. The resulting wine nicely combines the musqué clone-driven perfume from the tank-fermented lot with the textural richness from the barrel-fermented portion. Fittingly for the cool vintage, this is elegant, flinty and mineral with aromatics of melon, green papaya, and citrus overlaying fresh and sappy fruit and bright acid. A lovely wine that we all plan to drink a lot of over the coming summer months.

97 Points! Layered, elegant, vivid and mineral-driven, this full-bodied wine paints a distinct picture of one of Sonoma County’s oldest, most iconic chardonnay vineyards. Stone, kiwi and crisp apple notes fill the aromas, while light accents of butter and vanilla bean highlight the vibrant green apple and lime flavors. It expands on the palate and echoes for minutes in the finish. This wine is known to age well, so drink or hold. - JamesSuckling.com

95 Points! Elegant and precise, there's plenty to admire in this crisp expression -- apple, lemon zest and Sumo orange notes, plus an aromatic punch of yuzu, orange blossoms and sweet grass. A quiet toasted brioche detail lingers in the background, as does a savory thread of freshly grated ginger and toasted green tea hints. Drink now through 2032. - Wine Spectator

  11. Gail Wine Red Table Wine Sonoma Valley 'Doris' 2021
    $23.98
    Availability:In Stock

Great value here from the famous Bedrock Vineyard (Shhh....)! From the winery: A punchy, spicy blend of zinfandel (80%), barbera (15%) and Alicante Bouschet (5%). The Zinfandel and Alicante were sourced from the Bedrock Vineyard in Sonoma. The fruit was from adjacent blocks so we picked both on the same day, co-fermenting them together. Traditionally this fruit has always been the base for our red table wine. We then blended in a few barrels of Barbera to level up the acidity and aromatics.

  12. Gail Wine Merlot Pickberry Vineyard 2021
    $36.98
    Availability:In Stock

From the winery: Our 2021 Pickberry Merlot comes from the firm, clay-based soils, about 600' up the northern slopes of Sonoma Mountain. Mother Nature pushed ripeness faster on us than in previous years, trading out lighter herbaceous notes of previous vintages for a focused fruit profile. The wines massive structure coupled with Pickberry's signature blue fruit and intense menthol notes is just right on.

95 Points! Dark and enveloping, the 2021 Pinot Noir Cuvee Alyce is the richest offering in this lineup. Pouring a deep red/purple, it’s saturated with aromas of boysenberry liqueur, lavender, cedar, and licorice. Ample and full-bodied, it remains light on its feet, with mouthwatering lift, well-integrated, ripe tannins, and smoky incense on the back palate. 95 Points! The 2021 Pinot Noir Cuvée Alyce is another gorgeous wine in this range. It offers a compelling balance of fruit intensity and energy. Sweet red cherry, blood orange, mint, rose petal and cinnamon all soar out of the glass. High-toned aromatics and bright acids lend vibrancy throughout.
