- Tobias Glen Pinot Noir Jinsei Russian River Valley 2017WA94Special Price $49.98 Regular Price $74.98Availability:In Stock
94 Points! Pale to medium ruby, the 2017 Pinot Noir JINSEI Tobias Glen Vineyard opens slowly to warm black cherries, cranberries, woodsmoke, bergamot, dried flowers and a touch of tobacco and graphite. Medium-bodied, it’s wonderfully concentrated and savory, with meaty touches intertwined with the dark, ripe fruits, juicy, grainy and finishing long with lots of nuance. This has an appealing deeper, darker character than the rest of the lineup...made by consulting winemaker Stéphane Vivier. - Erin Brooks, robertparker.com

- Talisman Pinot Noir Sadie's Vineyard Russian River Valley 2017$49.98Availability:In Stock
From the winery: Notes of blackberry, licorice, Asian spice, citrus rind, boysenberry and mineral waft from this zingy, lively vintage of Sadie’s vineyard! The palate is quite yummy and juicy with notes of raspberry, root beer, spices, plum, charcoal, redwood bark and blueberry muffins. This Pinot is beautifully balanced with super-fine-grained tannins, an intense, concentrated body and an extremely long, lingering savory finish.
Sadie’s Vineyard, named for the family’s first German Shepherd, sits in the beautiful Sebastopol Hills along the chilly Bodega Highway corridor. The site is planted to some of our favorite clones; Pommard and Dijon 115.

92 Points! The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos des Fontenys 1er Cru presents a well-defined nose with red fruit in the driving seat and is quite floral in style; wilted rose petals and peony emerge with aeration. The palate is clean and precise, delivering energetic, tart, red berry fruit supported by a wonderful acidic spine. Full of tension and brightness toward the finish. Excellent. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2017 tasting.

- Calera Pinot Noir Mt. Harlan Mills Vineyard 2017$74.98Availability:In Stock
97 Points! The 2017 Pinot Noir Mills Vineyard is slightly deeper colored (it's still translucent) and offers a gorgeous nose of ripe redcurrants, cherries, spring flowers, sappy forest floor, and ample spice nuances. With medium to full body, beautiful depth of fruit, and a seamless texture, it's another stunning Pinot Noir from this team that I'd be happy to have in the cellar. - Jeb Dunnuck

93-95 Points! The 2017 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru, of which there are two-and-a-half barrels this year, has an intense bouquet of blackberry, blueberry, pressed violets and hints of crushed stone, and feels very controlled and focused. The ripe, vibrant palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin and shimmering black fruit laced with orange sorbet and Japanese yuzu. This is a quintessential, zinging Bonnes-Mares, very well crafted and with impressive persistence on the finish.

The 2017 Pommard Les Pezerolles 1er Cru is a little richer than the Les Epenots with more forward raspberry, wild strawberry and a light brine-like influence that gains traction with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, impressive depth of fruit but the terroir shines through. The finish is beautifully defined with a touch of spice and pain d’épices on the finish. Winemaker Jean-Pierre Charlot told me that this is his favourite cru in 2017...I can see exactly why. - Neal Martin, Vinous Media Learn More
