  1. Palmer Margaux 1983
    WA98
    $599.98
    Availability:Out of Stock

98 Points! Tasted at the Château Palmer vertical in London, this was the finest 1983 Château Palmer that I have encountered. The nose is ethereal with wonderful definition: mint-tinged red berry fruit, cedar, dried rose petals and very subtle acrid tang of a November bonfire. It is the definition and purity that is beguiling and yes, it is reminiscent of the 1961. The palate is beautifully balanced and lithe in the mouth. Like previous bottles, there is a Burgundy-like sensibility about this Palmer, sensual in the mouth with a crystalline finish that will have you reaching for the glass for another sip. Robert Parker stated that the 1983 was the best vintage following the epochal 1961 and I completely concur. This 1983 Palmer is probably at its peak now, although I have no doubt that it will continue to cruise at high altitude for many years. Tasted May 2015. - Neal Martin, robertparker.com

    WA95
    VM94+
    $129.98

100 Points! A phenomenal Saffredi with so much structure and length. It’s full-bodied yet remains agile and lively. Aromas and flavors of currants, mint and wet earth. Full-bodied, chewy and powerful. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. This has a special label celebrating the 25th anniversary of the production of this wine. It's the greatest Saffredi ever, cementing its reputation as the Lafite of Tuscany. This needs at least five years in bottle but it’s entrancing to drink now. A must-buy for Super Tuscan lovers. - JamesSuckling.com

  4. Saint-Pierre St. Julien 2012
    WA91
    JA94
    $57.98
    Availability:In Stock

94 Points! Sculpted smoky aromatics, love the carved out tannins and black fruits. This is a delicious 2012 that is full of plentiful berry fruits, blackcurrant and sloe, with an unfussy feel of hedgerow brambled freshness. The tannins have heft and give, and there is a sense of precision but also of expansion through the palate, great stuff. Ready to drink but only at the beginning of its drinking window. 60% new oak, 38hl/h yield. - Jane Anson, 2022

  5. Belair-Monange St. Emilion 2012
    JD97
    WA95+
    $89.98
    Availability:In Stock

97 Points! A brilliant showing, the 2012 Château Belair-Monange comes from a great terroir that is being resurrected by the Moueix team, located on a south-facing hillside just outside of Saint-Emilion. Sporting a deep ruby hue, it offers a beautiful bouquet of red and black fruits, truffly earth, graphite, and subtle smoke. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it's shed most of its baby fat and is just a classy, elegant, yet concentrated Saint-Emilion that does everything right. It's now in its prime drinking window, but I'd wager it has another two decades – or more – of overall longevity. Count yourself lucky if you have these in the cellar. - Jeb Dunnuck, 2022

  6. Pape Clément Rouge Pessac-Leognan 2012
    WA97
    $99.98
    Availability:In Stock

97 Points! The iconic 2012 Pape Clement is a candidate for near-perfection as well as one of the wines of the vintage. From proprietor Bernard Magrez, this is a blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. This extraordinary vineyard (a few miles to the west of Haut Brion and La Mission Haut Brion) has hit all the highlights of this vintage. Interestingly, the quality of the Pomerols and Graves wines in 2012 is closer to what one would consider a great vintage than the general image of 2012. This is truly great wine and not far off their magnificent 2005 and 2010. Full-bodied, with rich cassis, subtle burning embers and spice followed by velvety, well-integrated tannins, the wine is lush, expansive, savory and profound. This is a remarkable wine that could be drunk at a reasonably young age, but should cellar brilliantly for a quarter-century. Yields were modest at 37 hectoliters per hectare from this 132-acre estate. The alcohol level came in at 13.5%. - Robert Parker, robertparker.com, 2015

93 Points! This is a robust and unflinching red wine with a succulent core of ripe cherry fruit. The 2012 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Vigna Montosoli is more restrained and elegant compared to many of its peers from this hot vintage. Those scorching summer temperatures have been expertly absorbed, and the wine never feels jammy or heavy. The mid-weight finish is fine and graceful. JS96
    WA95
    VM95
    $379.98
    Availability:In Stock

96 Points! This shows incredible depth and density for the vintage with dark berry, dark chocolate, spice and chalk character. Full body, firm and velvety tannins and a long and powerful finish. Needs five or six years to soften. Try in 2020. - James Suckling

95 Points! The 2012 Pavie celebrates its reclassification and upgrade to Class A St.-Emilion by sporting a new black label with gold print. Fortunately, every Pavie has benefitted since Perse began a complete makeover of this estate in 1998. From 47-year-old vines, the 2012 has an inky purple color, judicious toasty oak in the nose interwoven with copious blackberry and blackcurrant fruit, Christmas spices, as well as licorice and graphite. Full-bodied, rich and moderately tannic, it will require 5-7 years of bottle age but should drink well for 20-30 years. Kudos to Chantal and Gerard Perse for their extraordinary commitment to quality, which is so evident in this more challenging vintage than some of the great years like 2009 and 2010. Very low yields of 28 hectoliters per hectare were obtained from this 92-acre estate. - Robert M. Parker, Jr. - Wine Advocate

    TWI95
    $329.98
    Availability:In Stock

95 Points! The 2012 Palmer is already offering demonstrative drinking at age 10, bursting with aromas of cherries, blackberries, violets and spices, framed by a lavish application of creamy new oak. Full-bodied, ample and enveloping, it's fleshy and sensual, with a deep and layered core of fruit that's discreetly underpinned by succulent acids and sweet, powdery tannins. Concentrated, broad and persistent, this is one of the most successful wines of the vintage, as well as one of the most dramatic. Thomas Duroux is crafting more integrated, less overtly oaky wines at Palmer today, but this 2012 is nonetheless a terrific effort. Château Palmer now systematically holds back an important percentage of its production for later release, and this September it's the turn of the 2012, a dramatic, sensual wine that is one of the clear successes of the vintage. - William Kelley, robertparker.com 2022

94 Points! The 2012 Brut Rosé de Saignée is a gorgeous wine that is full of Pinot character. Dried leaves, kirsch, tobacco and cedar are all nicely lifted. The Brut Rosé de Saignée shows the intense vintage along with the aromatic complexity of Pinot with a few years in bottle, a pretty attractive combination in my book. Special Price $69.98 Regular Price $99.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! The top Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine they have been working on for years, was finally ready to taste. In fact, they showed me two vintages, including this older one. The 2012 Luis Pereira is a wine that wants to go back to the style of yesteryear. It has a medium body, with moderate alcohol (12.8%, which is very unusual in Chile nowadays), more about elegance than power, with smoky notes of merken spices and cured meat, already developing some aromatic complexity. It's produced with grapes from 70-year-old vines, and it fermented with indigenous yeasts. It aged in used barriques for one year and then a further year in large oak foudres. This is a stunning Cabernet Sauvignon—serious, balanced and very fresh. 6,600 bottles were filled in April 2015. This has both the balance and the stuffing to develop in bottle for a long time. - Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com Learn More

  20. André Robert Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Collection d'Auteur 2012
    WA94
    $124.98
    Availability:In Stock

94 Points! The 2012 Brut Collection d'Auteur is deep and vinous, unwinding in the glass with notes of pear, white flowers and freshly braked bread mingled with subtle hints of citrus zest and bee pollen. Full-bodied, elegantly muscular and seamless, with a deep and concentrated core, bright acids and a pretty pinpoint mousse, it's a seamless, understated blanc de blanc derived from holdings in prime lieux-dits Les Vaucherots, Les Coullemets du Midi, Les Finciarts and Les Chétillons. - William Kelley, robertparker.com
