Incredible value here. Estate vines sit 1,140 feet in altitude, facing southeast. ‘La Roche’ directly borders Pouilly-Fuissé ‘La Roche,’ that appellation’s highest (and most prized) vineyard. Soils are solid white limestone, with very little topsoil. Vines planted between 1982 and 1985.

Hand-harvested. Pressed full cluster; juice placed in temperature-controlled tanks overnight to settle; transferred via gravity to older French oak barrels to ferment on indigenous yeasts. Aged in barrel for 12 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Perhaps the greatest value in premium white Burgundy today. Located on the slope of the Roche de Solutré (one of two ancient reefs that dramatically mark the landscape of Vergisson), ‘En Buland’ faces northeast (thus excluding it from Premier Cru status though its considered one of the finest sites). Soils mix limestone and clay. Vines planted in 1934.

93 Points! The 2025 Il Rosato mixes vivid nectarine and navel orange with hints of tarragon and sweet smoke to form its compelling bouquet. It's soft textured with a stimulating core of acidity and sour citrus tones to balance, as a saline mineral saturation adds salivating tension toward the close. It tapers off with excellent length and clarity, leaving flinty notes and a lemony concentration that has me looking back to the glass for more. 91 Points! The oldest producer in Emilia, Cleto Chiarli is better known for producing high-quality Lambrusco Secco, but this Grasparossa Amabile is just as captivating. Round and creamy but not cloying, touches of pepper and cinnamon complicate cherry jam flavours. Disgorged in December 2024 with a dosage of one gram per liter, Dehours’s NV Brut Grande Réserve is built on the 2022 vintage and bolstered by 40% to 50% reserve wines from a perpetual cuvée initiated in 1998, it opens with expressive aromas of pear, peach, orange zest and honeysuckle. 95 Points! Very pale in colour yet surprisingly concentrated for a wine of such light hue, delivering lots of delicate red berries and an ample palate with plenty of fleshy fruit and texture. The 100% Garnacha fruit is sourced from 70- to 90-year-old vines on several plots at 600m-750m. Only half of the free-run must is used, fermented plot by plot in small oak vats, with the wine remaining on its lees for at least four months before a final selection and blend is made. Wonderfully elegant with stony minerality, this is seamless, fruity and refined, with a very moreish finish. A really clear definition of the region. - Decanter Magazine

The 2025 Flor de Muga Rosado was produced with the direct pressing of Garnacha grapes from the Najerilla and Oja valleys, grapes that usually ripen but keep a pale red color and are not suitable for red wines. It fermented in small oak vats, where it was kept with fine lees and bâtonnage for four months. This is even paler and certainly subtler, more elegant and complex than the regular rosé. It comes in at a lower 13.5% alcohol, keeping very good freshness, reflected by a pH of 3.27 and 6.2 grams of acidity.
