To all Best Winers,

Getting ready for Hallo-Wine? You know we are!

We’re proud to present our 2nd Annual ‘Beast Wines’ Hallo-Wine Spectacular, “The Fruit of the Tomb”, our spook-tacular homage to one of monsterdom’s finest creations.

The Beast Wines Creative Team worked a beastly number of hours to put this together for you and, of course we needed something ‘theme’ to drink when making his happen.

Our choice? The scary-good Gothic Wines 2012 Nevermore Pinot Noir.

In 2009 New York restaurant guys Josh Nadel and William Tigert launched Gothic.  With decades of food and wine experience in New York City, these guys got tired of paying some seriously high prices for their favorite Oregon wines so they set out to make classic Pinot Noir in the elegant, food-friendly style of Old World winemaking.

The wine is made in the classic Burgundian style primarily from a 19 acre vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton district of the Willamette Valley. Those Yamhill volcanic soils give the wine its denser fruit profile, steering toward black cherry and raspberry. It is a gorgeous go-to bottle of Pinot Noir for the money…and very food-fiendly…er…friendly.

It’s also a 90 point pick from the stingy International Wine Cellar and it has totally cool creepy label for this Halloween (for you locals) or next year’s and beyond for our friends around the country.

We hope you enjoy the film and, again, have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Gothic Wine Pinot Noir Nevermore Willamette Valley 2012

90 points! Bright ruby.  Smoky raspberry, cherry and floral pastille scents are given depth by notes of vanilla and cola.  Silky and open-knit, offering pliant, lucid red fruit flavors that put on weight with air.  The smoke and floral qualities repeat on the long, berry-driven finish, which is shaped by gentle, harmonious tannins. - International Wine Cellar
