Rosé Wines

50% Sangiovese and 50% Prugnolo Gentile (Sangioivese clone from Montepulciano) Harvested from 20-year-old vines located in Terricciola at 300 meters above sea level with a southern exposure, sandy soils and ocean sediments. Aging for three months exclusively in stainless steel .

We put this one in the 'Rosé' seciton though some folks think of it as a 'chillable red'. Regardless, this stuff is TASTY. Field Blend Tradición comes from organic century-old vineyards, the average vine age is 80 to 100 years. These vineyards sit in clay soils at an altitude of 800 meters. The region has a continental climate with very cold winters and hot summers, an ideal environment for producing wine with depth and complexity.

The blend is approximately 65% Tempranillo; 30% white varieties as Dona Blanca, Palomino or Godello, 5% Garnacha and Garnacha Tintorera. Grapes are hand-harvested and then placed in a press as whole bunches without destemming. They are then treaded for five days until spontaneous fermentation occurs. At this moment, the grapes are pressed and transferred to used French barrels for alcoholic fermentation. Aged for 6 months prior to release.

Very complex nose dominated by raspberries, white fruit, and grass aromas. In the mouth, it is electric, fresh, and highly complex.

60% Assyrtiko (white grape) – 40% Mandilaria (red grape). Brief pre-fermentation cold maceration. 50 years old vines from the viticulture areas of Exo Gonia, Megalochori, Messaria and Akrotiri. White wine vinification from then on, ageing on the lees for five months.

93 Points! The 2025 Il Rosato mixes vivid nectarine and navel orange with hints of tarragon and sweet smoke to form its compelling bouquet. It's soft textured with a stimulating core of acidity and sour citrus tones to balance, as a saline mineral saturation adds salivating tension toward the close. It tapers off with excellent length and clarity, leaving flinty notes and a lemony concentration that has me looking back to the glass for more. 93 Points! The 2025 Rosé Ode to Lulu is vividly fruit forward, with a rush of crushed white cherries and wild strawberries complicated by nuances of chlorophyll and wet stone. This splashes across the palate with ease, soft yet stimulating with a solid core of citrus-infused green melon. A sweet herbal resonance lingers over hints of tangerine, as the 2025 leaves the palate completely refreshed. 92 Points! The 2025 Ode To Lulu Rose is a bright medium pink color and remains classic and refreshing, with notes of white strawberries, white peach, sour cherries, lime, and saline earth. Medium-bodied, it has bright acidity and a chalky structure. Made mostly from old-vine Mourvèdre with less Grenache and more Carignan in this vintage to preserve freshness, it’s killer as always. A blend of Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Grenache, the 2025 Bandol Rosé reveals an elegant, perfumed bouquet of red berries, spring flowers, pear and spices mingled with a delicate note of pepper. Medium- to full-bodied, enveloping and round, it has a juicy, elegant core of fruit with good depth, concluding with a long, saline finish. To us, this wine epitomizes what great Provençal Rosé should taste like, easy, juicy, quaffable, sunny. This wine with a healthy chill immediately brings to mind palm trees, beaches, moule frites, all things French summer. Love it!

94+ Points! One of the finest wine produced by Reynald Delille, the 2025 Bandol Rosé is a compelling wine not to be missed. 95 Points! Very pale in colour yet surprisingly concentrated for a wine of such light hue, delivering lots of delicate red berries and an ample palate with plenty of fleshy fruit and texture. The 100% Garnacha fruit is sourced from 70- to 90-year-old vines on several plots at 600m-750m. Only half of the free-run must is used, fermented plot by plot in small oak vats, with the wine remaining on its lees for at least four months before a final selection and blend is made. Wonderfully elegant with stony minerality, this is seamless, fruity and refined, with a very moreish finish. A really clear definition of the region. - Decanter Magazine

94 Points! The top rosé is also extremely young. The 2025 Flor de Muga Rosado was produced with the direct pressing of Garnacha grapes from the Najerilla and Oja valleys, grapes that usually ripen but keep a pale red color and are not suitable for red wines. It fermented in small oak vats, where it was kept with fine lees and bâtonnage for four months. This is even paler and certainly subtler, more elegant and complex than the regular rosé. It comes in at a lower 13.5% alcohol, keeping very good freshness, reflected by a pH of 3.27 and 6.2 grams of acidity. 80% Grenache from Kopack vineyard. Picked for rosé. Straight to press & fermented with feral yeast in a stainless steel tank.

20% Mourvèdre: 50% whole cluster. Foot tread on day one by Rowdy in his mankini. No other punchdowns or pumpovers. Sat on the skins for 5 days until fermentation began, then he pressed it off and fermented it in a neutral puncheon.

Agustín Lopez, Mauricio Castro, Marcela Manini and Sebastian Zuccardi met at the Liceo Agrícola & Enológico School in Mendoza Argentina when they were 17 years old and they eventually formed Alma 4. Two years later, the quartet vinified 300 bottles of Methode Tradicional wine in 1998, their first year of production. Over 20 years later, they are still making wine together and they currently produce 5 sparkling cuvees from parcels located in the Uco Valley ranging from 1300-1550 meters above sea level.
