Aroma: Pale golden amber color. Buttercream, dried papaya, caramel custard and nougat aromas.

Notes: A supple, silky entry to a dry-yet-fruity, medium to full body with grilled pepper, mineral and mocha accents. Finishes with a long, cocoa and pepper spice fade with a balanced warmth. 

On the nose: A delicate and inviting vanilla nose with notes of bergamot, honey, preserved fruits and orange blossom flowers.

On the Palate: Rich flavors of cooked agave, honey, vanilla with a mid-palate of cacao nibs. A long and generous finish on the palate.

On the nose: Intense aromas of cooked agave, vanilla and caramel, enhanced by the slow cooking process, and floral and fruity notes of cantaloupe and peaches.

On the palate: Rich flavors of cooked agave, vanilla, fresh fruit and spices such as cinnamon.

The most herbaceous expression of all, offering a sweet and spicy profile with hints of green chili, grapefruit and fresh agave.

An earthy expression with hints of tobacco, cocoa, vanilla and leather, offering a unique balance between wood aromas and umami flavors.

Cazcanes sources natural artesian water for our tequila. The water starts off as rain high up in the pristine peaks of the San Pedro De Los Landeros Mountains. It slowly travels through natural minerals deep within the volcanic mountains before emerging at the Navichi springs.
We hand select each individual 100% Weber Blue agave for harvest during peak sugar levels to deliver a distinct Cazcanes taste. The “piñas” are then cooked and put through our roller mill to extract and concentrate their flavors. Next comes fermentation using, natural wild yeast, followed by distillation in our alembic stills.Our attention to detail continues through every step of our small batch process until our tequila finds its final resting place in a hand-blown glass bottle.

From the distillery: Cazcanes Tequila No.7 Reposado is the first Reposado offering from Mr. Collin Edwards, the award-winning Master Distiller of Cazcanes Tequila. It also was awarded a Bronze Medal from the 2018 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a Gold Medal from the 2020 Sip Awards.

From the distillery: Cazcanes No.9 Blanco 100 Proof is the first Blanco offering from Mr. Collin Edwards, the award-winning Master Distiller of Cazcanes Tequila. The No.9 Blanco has received praise in the U.S being voted 2018 Best Blanco Tequila and Best Unaged White Spirit, along with 2017 and 2018 Double Gold medals, from the renowned San Francisco World Spirit Competition. Cazcanes Tequila No.9 is tequila at its finest. Drink Cazcanes Tequila No.9 Blanco on the rocks, neat, or in a cocktail. More sophisticated palates will appreciate the complexity of the higher proof distillate that comes from this tequila’s unique production process.

Arette is produced by the Orendain family at the historic El Llano distillery in Tequila, Jalisco. The brand honours Mexican Olympic-winning heritage and uses estate-grown Blue Weber agave, traditional craftsmanship, and minimal intervention. The Artesanal Reposado rests for approximately 11 months in American white oak barrels to achieve balance and depth. 

Tasting Note:
A delicate golden colour greets the glass. The aroma begins with gentle cooked agave, soft tropical fruit and a hint of vanilla. On the palate you’ll find baked agave layered with light oak, butterscotch and baking spice, finishing with a dry-toasty texture and smooth warmth.
