  1. Andre Bonhomme Viré-Clessé Vieilles Vignes 2017
    $24.98
    Availability:In Stock
Consistently one of THE top values in white Burgundy. From Importer Charles Neal: As its name suggests, this comes from vines that have an average age of 80 years. The yield is slightly lower than the other cuvées (35 to 40 hl/ha) giving it slightly more concentration, elegance and aromatic complexity. Like the Cuvée Spéciale, part is aged in stainless-steel and the other part in oak before being blended together and aged for another year in larger barrels. Learn More

  11. Robert-Denogent Pouilly Fuisse Vieille Vignes Les Carrons 2013
    BH92
Special Price $49.98 Regular Price $66.00
    Availability:In Stock
90+ year-old vines. Here the nose is compositionally similar to the Les Cras though in this case the menthol element is more pronounced. Otherwise the two wines also share the excellent concentration, punch and power as there is real size, weight and muscle to the broad-shouldered flavors that culminate in a mouth coating, complex, dry and impressively persistent finale. Like most of the wines in the range, this is an excellent if not entirely typical effort that will also require a few years of bottle age to harmonize. - Allen Meadows, Burghound #60

  12. Robert-Denogent Pouilly Fuisse Cuvée Claude Denogent 2013
    BH91
Special Price $39.98 Regular Price $56.00
    Availability:In Stock
85+ year-old vines. A pungent and expressive nose exhibits notes of wood, menthol, petrol and a wide variety of exotic yellow fruit scents. This is a big Pouilly-Fuissé with its powerful and imposingly concentrated flavors that coat the palate with dry extract, all wrapped in a saline, long and balanced finale where a hint of bitter lemon arises. As the deion suggests this is a large-scaled effort that will require at least a few years of bottle age first. - Allen Meadows, Burghound #60
