  5. Dunn Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 2001 Magnum 1.5L (Cracked Wax Capsule)
    VM97
    $369.98
    Availability:In Stock
97 Points! Dark red with ruby highlights; appeared to grow darker with air. Deep aromas of plum, mocha, iodine, loam, licorice, brown spices and graphite, accented by a hint of black pepper. Wonderfully juicy and light on its feet, conveying intriguing dark fruit, spice and saline mineral intensity and outstanding thrust. This wonderfully penetrating wine is still a baby. Finishes with firm but suave tannins and outstanding slowly building length. This wonderfully complete, classy wine boasts powerful structure and strong salinity and actually went into a shell in the glass. It should still be held for several years and it should go on for decades. (13.1% alcohol) - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media Learn More
  6. Dunn Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 1991
    VM96
    $199.98
    Availability:In Stock
96 Points! Bright, deep red-ruby. Wonderfully mellow and complex on the nose, offering everything from fresh dark fruits to chocolate, red licorice, flowers and graphite minerality. Pure liquid silk in the mouth; at once sharply delineated and edge-free thanks to superb harmonious acidity, possessing a wonderfully tight core of juicy fruit. This very dry, classic Howell Mountain Cabernet finishes with serious dusty but sweet tannins and will still improve. Stunning wine. (13% alcohol) - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media 2018 Learn More
  7. Dunn Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain 1990
    VM92+
    $199.98
    Availability:In Stock
92+ Points! Good dark red. Brooding aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, spices, licorice, menthol and chocolate, plus a hint of game. Plush and fine-grained but a bit medicinal and still clenched, with its black cherry and menthol flavors continuing the rather medicinal theme. Very rich and full in the mouth but distinctly savory and a bit unyielding. Finishes with mounting tannins that initially detract from the wine's sweetness. But the wine grew sappier with air and I raised my score. Will this rather powerful vintage loosen up further and show more personality? It still has years to go. (13% alcohol) - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media 2018 Learn More
  8. Dominus Estate Napa Valley 1991
    WA99
    $299.98
    Availability:In Stock
99 Points! As for the 1991, 6,500 cases were produced of this potentially perfect wine. While this vintage of Dominus contains no Merlot in the blend, every time I taste it I am reminded of a great vintage of Petrus such as 1982, 1989 or 1990. Although different, the 1991 Dominus possesses extraordinary intensity, remarkable opulence, and amazing fruit extraction, all welded to a full-bodied structure. The wine's sensational purity and inner-core of depth must be tasted to be believed. The 1991 will be approachable young because of its sweet tannin, yet it exhibits the potential to last for 25 years. Perhaps 1994 will rival it, but for now, the 1991 is unquestionably the greatest Dominus, as well as a potential legend in the making. - Robert Parker, robertparker.com 1995 Learn More
  9. Quintessa Proprietary Red Wine Napa Valley 2016
    WA97+
    $174.98
    Availability:Out of Stock
97+ Points! The 2016 Proprietary Red Wine is blended of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot and 1% Carménère, with all fruit coming from the Quintessa estate, and it aged for 20 months in 73% new French oak. Very deep purple-black in color, it comes bounding out of the glass like a pedigree pup with exuberant notions of crème de cassis, warm blueberries and black cherries with hints of redcurrants, kirsch, candied violets, crushed rocks, cigar box and fallen leaves plus a waft of truffles. Full, rich and beautifully laced with layers of floral notes and fragrant earth, the profound black and blue fruits build slowly in the mouth, achieving great energy and depth with a beautiful velvety frame, finishing long and perfumed. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, robertparker.com Learn More
  10. Ramey Chardonnay Russian River Valley 2016

    WE95
    JD93
    WA91
    VM91
    $35.98
    Availability:In Stock
95 Points! This is a great appellation wine, overdelivering on price with an opening touch of matchstick that evolves into a stony, high-toned expression of tangerine and blood orange. Within the fruit are savory notes of nutmeg, hazelnut and ginger that linger leisurely on the lengthy finish. - Wine Enthusiast Learn More
  11. Outpost Zinfandel Howell Mountain 2016
    JD96
    $49.98
    Availability:In Stock
96 Points! I loved the 2016 Zinfandel Howell Mountain, and this beauty has everything you could want from a mountain Zinfandel. Possessing a huge perfume of blue fruits, leafy herbs, and cedarwood, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, silky tannins, and a pleasure-bent, complex, layered texture that just begs to be drunk. It too will keep for over a decade. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More
  12. Ramey Chardonnay Woolsey Road Vineyard Russian River Valley 2015
    WE96
    DEC96
    JD94
    WA95
    $54.98
    Availability:In Stock
96 Points! This cool-sited single vineyard, owned by the Martinelli family, was planted to Ramey’s specifications in 2007 using the famous old-fashioned Wente clone. Though the vineyard lies in the Russian River appellation, this wine is more Sonoma Coast in style, with wonderful lemony aromas and very bright, intense citrussy flavours. There's plenty of vibrancy and zing, and silky rather than creamy textures. Nineteen months' ageing in 20% new French oak barrels gives it depth and balance. - Decanter Magazine Learn More
  13. Long Shadows Vintners Pirouette Blend Columbia Valley 2016
    JD97
    $59.98
    Availability:In Stock
97 Points! The 2016 Pirouette is made by Philippe Melka and it’s a total blockbuster based on 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and the palate Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec that was fermented in barrel and aged 22 months in 75% new oak. Crème de cassis, blackberries, toasted spices, cedar, and forest floor notes all emerge from this deep, rich, opulent red that has sweet tannins, a thrilling texture, no hard edges, and a monster finish. This is another best-to-date from this estate and it’s an awesome wine. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More

    JD95
    $29.98

95 Points! A crazy good value, the 2017 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is the appellation release from this team, and it comes from all of the estate vineyards across the Green Valley, Laguna Ridge, and Sebastopol regions. Complex notes of strawberries, cranberries, violets, pine forest, and flowers all flow to a medium-bodied Pinot Noir that has a kiss of salinity and marine notes, ripe tannins, and a great finish. This beautiful wine competes with wines costing 2-3 times the price. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More
