  1. Sine Qua Non Grenache Dirt Vernacular 2016
    JD100
    WA96
    $299.98
    Availability:In Stock
100 Points! One of the finest Grenaches to ever pass my lips is the 2016 Grenache Dirt Vernacular and it’s 78% Grenache, 11.5% Mourvèdre, 7% Touriga Nacional, and the rest Petite Sirah. Reminding me of an old vine Grenache cuvée from the Maurel brothers in Châteauneuf du Pape, it boasts a huge nose of black raspberries, kirsch liqueur, graphite, ground herbs, and pepper. This is one of those wines that offers incredible intensity and depth, yet still just glides over the palate with no sense of heaviness whatsoever. Full-bodied, rich, layered, and pure, it’s a riveting example of Grenache that could come from nowhere else. Drink it any time over the coming 15+ years. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More
  2. Sine Qua Non Syrah Ratsel 2016
    JD96-99
    WA96+
    $299.98
    Availability:In Stock
96-99 Points! A not yet bottled blend of 81% Syrah, 7% Mourvèdre, 5% Petite Sirah, and the rest Viognier and Grenache, fermented with 47% whole clusters, the 2016 Syrah Rätsel 16 is an inky colored beauty that has another level of depth and richness over the 2015. Black raspberries, cassis, white pepper, white chocolate, and hints of bacon fat give way to a full-bodied, seamless, elegant wine that has terrific freshness and purity, ultra-fine tannin, and a huge finish. Not too dissimilar from the 2014s, which have the same supple, sexy, and approachable style, it should drink reasonably well right out of the gate and cruise for 15-20 years in cool cellars. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More

  5. Bedrock Cabernet Sauvignon Montecillo Vineyard Moon Mountain 2016
    WA93
    VM94+
    $74.98
    Availability:In Stock
94+ Points! Even though it has just been bottled, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Montecillo Vineyard is superb. Powerful and tightly wound, the 2016 is nevertheless quite expressive, with tremendous aromatic and flavor intensity to match the firm, hillside tannins. Hints of cedar, tobacco, licorice and leather gradually develop in the glass, but it will be years before the 2016 is ready to offer its best drinking. There is so much potential here. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media Learn More
  6. Bedrock Under The Mountain Heritage Wine Santa Clara County 2017
    $49.98
    Availability:In Stock
This amazing survivor vineyard is indeed “under the mountain,” or more accurately right under the Santa Cruz Mountains. Located in the hills west of Morgan Hill and just north of Hecker Pass, the vineyard lies in a region once heavily planted to vines. Most of the original plantings in the area have given way to housing, shopping malls and the other needs of the sprawling south Bay Area, which makes this vineyard, nestled in the hills, so unique. Farmed by the Gregory family, the vineyard is planted predominately to Zinfandel and Carignan, though some Petite Sirah, Muscat and others exist on the site as well. The small amount of wine we are able to make off the site is defined by beautiful mountain acidity, fresh fruit and aromatics that pop out of the glass. - Morgan Twain-Peterson Learn More
  7. Bedrock Lorenzo's Heritage Wine Dry Creek Valley 2017
    VM94+
    $49.98
    Availability:In Stock
94+ Points! Bedrock's 2017 Heritage Wine Lorenzo, from Teldeschi Ranch, is a potent, massively structured wine that will need quite a bit of time to come into its own. Dark cherry, leather, smoke, licorice, spice and menthol give the Lorenzo much of its distinctive brooding personality. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media Learn More
  8. Memento Mori Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2016
    WA99
    $224.98
    Availability:Out of Stock
99 Points! The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Beckstoffer Dr. Crane and Las Piedras vineyards, Oakville Ranch vineyard and Weitz vineyard, aged 22 months in 100% new French oak. Very deep purple-black in color, it reveals stunning scents of crème de cassis, wild blueberries, blackberry compote and dried mulberries with hints of Chinese five spice, spearmint and unsmoked cigars with a waft of cedar chest. Full-bodied, with a rock-solid structure of firm, super ripe tannins plus seamless freshness, it finishes very long with provocative mineral accents. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, robertparker.com Learn More
  9. Ridge Geyserville Sonoma County 2017
    WA93-95
    $39.98
    Availability:In Stock
93-95 Points! A first look at the 2017 Geyserville Proprietary Red Wine revealed immense promise. Despite having been in barrel for a mere six months, it's already offering up complex aromas of raspberries, blackberries and exotic spice. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, pure and succulent, with superb concentration, a lovely line of ripe acidity and a chalky, fine-grained finish. The wine attained 14.7% alcohol, and Baugher believes it will be one of the best renditions of Geyserville in a decade. - William Kelley, robertparker.com Learn More
  10. Moraga Bel-Air Red 2015
    $169.98
    Availability:In Stock
"The canyon locale of the Moraga Bel Air vineyard includes ancient marine soils and a distinct microclimate that clearly differentiates the property from other California appellations. The steep vineyard, planted at elevations up to 900 feet, is recognized as an exceptional site for creating wines with a sense of place. A daily “bay breeze” coming off the Santa Monica Bay, which can be clearly seen in the distance from the top of the vineyard, keeps vineyard temperatures moderate. The character of the vineyard is strongly reflected in the wines; in the Moraga Red, the calcareous soils connect each vintage with a common thread. There is a unique and identifiable Moraga signature of rich tannins; supple texture, pure Cabernet fruit, currant and tobacco. Grapes from the vineyard’s many different exposures allow us to build complexity from a careful blend of the different vineyard blocks that make up the vineyard." Learn More
