Reward Policy
ACCRUING POINTS
Winex reward points are accumulated every single time a logged in customer spends $10 or more on an order. It does not cost anything to join. Points are a completely free program that comes with being a registered customer with Wine Exchange! Please note that in order to partake in Winex reward points you must have an active customer account with Wine Exchange and you must be logged in at the time of purchase. Your points are tied directly to your account. For in-store customers please make sure to notify the sales associate helping you that you have a customer account before you complete your transaction. Reward points are accrued at a rate of one point for every $10 spent on an individual order. Each point has a monetary value of $0.15 and represents a 1.5% earning rate. 'Point holidays' will happen periodically throughout the year where customers will be granted the ability to earn double points on their purchases. Terms for these days are at the discretion of Wine Exchange and are always subject to change. Please refer to general messaging on email, SMS and website marketing materials for general details and restrictions on these specific promotions. Points are only accrued based on subtotal amount and not on tax and shipping charges.
REDEEMING POINTS
You can redeem your points at time of checkout on both our website as well as in person at our brick and mortar store. If you have points to redeem then you will see an option for redeeming them at the bottom of the payment method page. The option to use points, as well as your balance and the monetary equivalent of this balance, will be shown to you in this Payment Method area of the checkout. Redeemable points can be used in conjunction with other payment methods such as credit cards, gift cards and more as they will be represented as a "discount" applied against your total. If you are shopping with us at our brick and mortar store, please be sure you have given the sales associate your customer account information and let them know you'd like to apply a portion of, or all of your points toward an order.
MANAGING YOUR POINTS
You have the ability to view and manage your points through your Customer Account. From your account you will be able to view your total points (and their monetary equivalent) as well as a cumulative history of points acquired, redeemed or returned.
POINT EXPIRATION
Points do not expire and can be redeemed at any time.
Note:
• Points can only be used as store credit. You cannot redeem your points for cash and they cannot be redeemed toward tax and shipping charges.
• You will receive email notifications each time your balance changes when you either earn, redeem or return points.
• The official start date for the Winex rewards program is Nov 1, 2023 and Wine Exchange will not add points for transactions from before this date. Similarly Wine Exchange will not apply or transfer points from transactions which were created as a "guest" or by a customer who was not logged into their account at the time of purchase. Our only request since this is an automated feature of our website, is that the customer is responsible for making sure their reward points are being added correctly to their account by being signed in to their active customer account at time of purchase.
• Points cannot be shared or gifted to anyone and must only be redeemed by the customer to whom they belong.
