The not so new any longer Ardnamurchan distillery is shaping up to be one of Scotland's most exciting. Every single bottling takes ratchets up the quality to new heights. This extremely delicious 100% Sherry Cask Aged release was drawn from 10 peated sherry butts and 15 unpeated sherry hogsheads aged entirely in Ardnamurchan's warehouses on the rugged western coast of Scotland. The resulting whisky is complex and delicious offering quality that few modern distillers can match. Expect a beautifully balanced bonfire smoke melding with dense nutty sherry. We rarely see such special whisky available, but only 2000 bottles for the entire US, it surely won't be for long.

Wolves 5-Year American Single Malt is a distinctive whiskey that embodies the spirit of the American West. Distilled in 2019 using a copper pot still, it was aged for five years in California French oak wine barrels under the Arizona sun. After this maturation, hand-selected barrels were blended and finished in aged Cognac casks, resulting in a complex and layered profile. On the nose, it presents aromas of honey, graham cracker, caramel, and red fruit. The palate offers flavors of vanilla custard, nutmeg, clove, sweet oats, and fig, leading to a medium to long sweet finish. Bottled at 48% ABV, this American Single Malt is both bold and inspired, celebrating the intrepid past of the American West.

Maker's Mark Cellar Aged 2024 is a limited-edition bourbon that represents the distillery's oldest release to date. This expression is a meticulous blend of 15% 12-year-old and 85% 13-year-old bourbons, aged to taste rather than time, and bottled at cask strength of 119.3 proof (59.7% ABV).

The aging process includes finishing maturation in Maker's Mark's LEED-certified limestone cellar, which allows the bourbon to develop a richer, deeper, and more complex flavor profile while avoiding the harsher tannic effects often found in older American whiskies.

Tasting notes for this release include aromas of caramelized sugar, zesty citrus, and toasted almond. The palate offers flavors of buttery shortbread, rich coconut, and bright spices, leading to a lingering, mouth-coating finish with dried dark fruit and subtle oak undertones.

McKenzie Straight Rye Whiskey is a robust, small-batch spirit crafted by Finger Lakes Distilling in upstate New York. "With Reflection II, Whiskey Director Shaylyn Gammon is looking to continue the tradition while emphasizing a different layer of flavor notes than its predecessor. While Reflection I focused on the darker base notes like oak and caramel, Reflection II zeroes in on the brighter middle notes, including florals and sweetness. Reflection II also features older whiskey stocks than its predecessor, with Gammon seeking out barrels that clearly exhibited elevated mid-note flavors from Blue Run’s more than 5,000-barrel inventory."

“Single Malt Kanosuke 2023 LIMITED EDITION” is a single malt Japanese whisky which embodies Kanosuke Distillery’s concept of “MELLOW LAND, MELLOW WHISKY” and was produced using all 3 of our pot stills, aged in several varieties of oak barrels, and blended together after 3 years of maturation.

“Kanosuke HIOKI POT STILL” is made at Hioki distillery by using unmalted and malted barley, mashed and fermented in a unique process, then distilled carefully in a pot still, followed by maturation in new American white oak casks and bourbon barrels at the KANOSUKE distillery warehouse.

PALATE: Freshly polished leather, dried apricots, warm butter, dusty oak furniture in a fire, finishes with root beer and brown baking spice.
GENERAL: This forward and sexy rye will spice up your evening. Succulent and spicy on the entry yields to round, smooth, sweet bakery items and toasty oak. An experience akin to the pre-duel heightening of one’s senses followed by the euphoria of getting off the first shot.

Palate: Peanut brittle, vanilla, leatherbound books, finishes with almond and cola
General: Comes off nearly sweet, but beautifully balanced. Its powerful, but gracefully gentle, like Muhammed Ali petting a kitten. Pairs well with an elegant, yet sultry evening.

The intense nose reveals empyreumatic notes that evoke both ashes, toast and moka. Subtle touches of spices (cinnamon, nail clove) and liquorice reinforce its complexity.​

The mouth is thick, mellow and oily. Its salinity gives it a fresh and harmonious balance. Its structure is coated thanks to its elegant tannins.

The finish is long and persistent on aromas peat characteristics.​
