  1. Bodegas Ordonez Triton Tinta de Toro 2016

93 Points!  The larger production cuvée from Ordonez, the 2016 Tinta de Toro Tritón (100% Tinta de Toro) comes all from very old, ungrafted vineyards and was brought up mostly in used barrels. This beautifully sexy red boasts smoking good notes of ripe plums, black cherries, liquid violets, and loads of scrub brush and dried earth. Full-bodied and silky on the palate, with fine, fine tannin, it has remarkable purity, no hard edges, and enough structure to warrant another year in bottle. It’s a seriously impressive wine. - Jeb Dunnuck

90 Points!  Cropped from a warm and ripe year, the entry-level 2015 Termes was able to keep its poise and balance. It has balsamic aromas and flavors, with sweet fruit on the palate. It's 15% alcohol and matured in French barriques for 14 months. - Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com

93 Points!  (aged entirely in new French oak): Dark purple. An explosively perfumed bouquet displays scents of ripe dark berries, incense and vanilla, with an intense floral nuance adding lift. Stains the palate with potent black and blue fruit liqueur and violet pastille flavors, with zesty acidity providing spine and lift. Smooth tannins build slowly and steadily through a strikingly long, focused finish, with the dark fruit and floral notes repeating. I was surprised by this suave wine's forward character but suspect that it will be even better with another five-plus years of bottle age.  Josh Raynolds, Vinous Media, December 2015
