  1. G.D. Vajra Moscato d'Asti 2018
    $17.98
    Availability:In Stock
In fact, as good as many of the Vajra family’s wines are (such as, for example, many standout Barolos, a benchmark Freisa, an outstanding Dolcetto and Piedmont’s most famous if not best Riesling wine), their Moscato d’Asti is almost always, each year, one of the denomination’s best. - Ian D'Agata, Vinous Media Learn More
  2. G.D. Vajra Langhe Freisa Kyè 2015
    VM92+
    $39.98
    Availability:In Stock
92+ Points! The 2015 Langhe Freisa Kyé is incredibly finessed. Once huge and bombastic, the Kyé has developed into a much more refined wine in recent vintages. The 2015 Kyé is dark and mysterious, not to mention quite closed in on itself. I won’t be surprised if there is more to this wine. Time will tell. - Antonio Galloni, Viknous Media Learn More
  3. G.D. Vajra Barolo Bricco delle Viole 2014
    VM96
    $79.98
    Availability:In Stock
96 Points! The 2014 Barolo Bricco delle Viole is positively stunning. There are many things about this wine that are super-impressive, but what stands out most is how soft and silky the tannins are. Because of that, the 2014 is much more approachable than it usually is, and yet also conveys the feeling of translucence that is such a signature of this site and wine. I am not sure I have ever tasted a young Bricco delle Viole with this much purity of fruit. The 2014 is total class. Don't miss it. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media Learn More
  4. G.D. Vajra Barbera d'Alba Superiore 2016
    WS92
    WA92
    $39.98
    Availability:In Stock
92 Points! The 2016 Barbera d'Alba Superiore is a precise and balanced wine that applies a very orderly approach to a grape that can often show an untamed or wild side. In fact, this wine flaunts a level of pedigree that does not go unnoticed to those in the know about Barbera. This expression has it all under control, and the wine comports itself in a soothing manner that will pair well with hearty winter dishes. Fire up the grill now, or stick it in the cave and take your chances. - Monica Larner, robertparker.com Learn More
  5. G.D. Vajra Dolcetto d'Alba Coste e Fossati 2017
    VM93
    $26.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! The 2017 Dolcetto d'Alba Coste & Fossati is a wine of extraordinary and arresting beauty. Intense and yet also remarkably delineated, the Coste & Fossati is a terrific example of the heights Dolcetto can reach in skilled hands. Readers will find a gorgeous, beautifully layered wine endowed with tremendous energy and focus. Dark plum, graphite, smoke, menthol and licorice all build in this super-expressive and nuanced wine from Vajra. I loved it. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media Learn More
  6. Vietti Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco 2016
    WA93
    $24.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! Luca Currado likes to remind me that this wine could qualify as a full-fledged Barolo. Barrels not used in the final Barolo Castiglione blend are used to make the 2016 Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco. In fact, its very name “Perbacco” translates into a somewhat corny “golly gosh” because that was the reaction Luca’s mom had when she first tasted the wine and was told it was not a Barolo. “Perbacco, it tastes like Barolo,” was her comment—and a legend was born. The Vietti family, along with Bartolo Mascarello and Dott G Cappellano back in the day, had battled for some variation of a Rosso di Barolo in the appellation laws. That never happened, but Langhe Nebbiolo is a concept that follows that same idea: you get great Nebbiolo quality at a fraction of the price. Today, Langhe Nebbiolo is one of the fastest-growing categories in the entire wine region. This beautiful vintage, with its balanced fruit and freshness, is a perfect example. - Monica Larner, robertparker.com Learn More
  7. Falletto di Bruno Giacosa Barolo Vigna Le Rocche 2015
    JS100
    $199.98
    Availability:In Stock
100 Points! I am lost for words with this wine. Perfumed and so elegant with the most exquisite aromas of roses, plums and earth. Yet always subtle and complex. Full body and ultra fine, firm tannins. Fantastic finish that lasts for minutes. Try in 2026. - JamesSuckling.com Learn More
  8. Schiavenza Barolo Serralunga d'Alba 2015
    JS93
    $39.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! Some savory aromas here with warm stones, iron, coal smoke and darker cherry notes. The palate is concentrated and carries sweetly spiced black-cherry and plum flavors in attractively juicy form. Drink or hold. - JamesSuckling.com Learn More
  9. Voerzio Martini Barolo 2015
    JS95
    $39.98
    Availability:In Stock
95 Points! This is big and powerful with lots of chewy tannins and intense fruit. Smoky wood comes out, too. Full body. Loads of flavor on the finish. Goes on for minutes. Needs a lot of time to mellow. - JamesSuckling.com Learn More
  10. Nervi Conterno Il Rosato Piedmont 2018
    VM91
    $22.98
    Availability:In Stock
91 Points! Luminous pink. Reticent nose of white flowers and herbs, plus a whiplash of red berry juiciness. Round, rich and tactile, with good juicy cut that extends the flavors on the long finish. The bottle carries both the Nervi and Conterno names (Nervi was recently acquired by the Giacomo Conterno estate). Nebbiolo. - Ian D'Agata, Vinous Media Learn More
  11. Burlotto Barolo Cannubi 2015
    VM97
    $149.98
    Availability:In Stock
97 Points! The 2015 Barolo Cannubi is another dizzying wine from Burlotto. A rush of dark cherry, plum, hard candy licorice, violet and spice all hit the palate. Powerful and vertical in the glass, the Cannubi simply has it all. I would give the 2015 a good bit of time to shed some of its considerable baby fat. Powerful, dense and packed, the Cannubi is not as showy or seductive as the Monvigliero, but it has so much to offer, especially with a bit of bottle age. What a magnificent wine it is! - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media Learn More
  12. La Spinetta Barbaresco Vigna Bordini 2016
    WA92
    $49.98
    Availability:In Stock
92 Points! This Barbaresco is of a thicker and darker concentration than the others within this set of new releases, with ripe cherry fruit and dark berries that lift immediately from the glass. But the 2016 Barbaresco Vigneto Bordini is thinner and less consequential in the mouth than I had expected from the appearance. This is a very linear and streamlined approach that could accompany a tenderloin carpaccio with arugula, shaved Parmesan and extra virgin olive oil. - Monica Larner, robertparker.com Learn More
  13. Malvira Roero Arneis Vigna Renesio 2015
    VM92
    $19.98
    Availability:In Stock
92 Points! Bright straw-yellow. Sexy, ripe aromas of soft citrus fruits, pear and orange oil, accented by minty herbs and honey. Dense, sweet and supple, with its white peach, grapefruit and herb flavors showing a honeyed quality and lovely lift. A broad, ripe style of Arneis with a passerillé quality and a tactile, chewy mouthfeel (no doubt a result of the hot growing season) but with a welcome light touch. The long finish features delightful minty lift. Despite the wine tasting as if it were made partly from air-dried grapes, the vines were harvested early, on August 23. Only 12.5% alcohol. - Ian D'Agata, Vinous Media Learn More
  14. Cordero di Montezemolo Barolo Enrico VI 2015
    JS97
    WA96
    VM93+
    $89.98
    Availability:In Stock
97 Points! Coal dust and graphite with some very attractive, sweetly ripe plums and cherries. Tarry accents, too. The juicy tannins are captivating, drawing fresh and zesty red-fruit flavors in long, upbeat fashion. Launches long and holds in succulent, impressive form. Drink this from 2022. - JamesSuckling.com Learn More
  15. Paitin Barbaresco Sori Paitin 2015
    WS95
    $44.98
    Availability:In Stock
Sweet cherry and strawberry fruit is framed by earth, eucalyptus, tobacco and tar notes in this rich yet firm red. The assertive tannins suggest a glacial evolution but the lasting impression of fruit shows this wine's potential. - Wine Spectator Learn More
