  1. Jean Luc Colombo Cornas Les Ruchets 2010
    WS95
    $94.98
    Availability:In Stock
95 Points!  Shows a lovely savory hint, with green olive and tobacco notes wrapping around serious chalky grip. The core of butter, cherry, red currant and blackberry fruit sits in the background for now. Dense and vinous, this is driven by minerality, and should age wonderfully as the fruit comes forward. Best from 2015 through 2027. - Wine Spectator

  2. August Clape Cornas 2016
    JD97
    JS98
    $149.98
    Availability:In Stock
98-99 Points! Many layers of aromas, complex and spicy with a fragrant array of dark brambly berries, dark plums, dark chocolate. Spices and peppers, as well as graphite-like stony notes. There’s a silky core to the palate with extreme power, all delivered so precisely that appear light and elegant. Sweet spiced-fruit flavors run long and bright, exploding in a spectacular spicy finish. Spends two winters in the cellar to deliver finesse in terms of tannins. Barrel sample. - James Suckling, jamessuckling.com

  3. Jean-Luc Colombo Cornas La Louvee 2015
    WS95
    JD97
    $89.98
    Availability:In Stock
97 Points! Coming from the steep, granite soils of the La Côte Lieu-dit, the 2015 Cornas La Louvée spent 23 months in 15% new French oak. It’s seriously good, and while it has a slightly modern character, it packs tons of classic Cornas fruit as well as notes of saddle leather, bouquet garni, graphite and cracked pepper. Thick, unctuous and incredibly concentrated, with sweet tannin, it's the finest wine I've tasted from this estate to date. There are only 400 cases but it’s well worth the extra effort to track down. Hat’s off to the young Laure Colombo! - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com

  4. Lionnet Cornas Terre Brulee 2015
    JD95
    WA94
    $56.98
    Availability:In Stock
95 Points! The 2015 Cornas Terre Brûlée comes from a total of seven different lieux-dits throughout the appellation (all are granite soils) and was vinified in concrete tanks before spending 18 months in older demi-muids. It offers a classic, traditional feel in its blackberry, peppery herbs, bouquet garni and violets aromas and flavors. With full-bodied richness, nicely integrated acidity and superb concentration, it's just another sensational Cornas from this vintage. Bravo to Corinne Lionnet and Ludovic Izerable! - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com

    WS94
    JD93
    $54.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! The 2015 Cornas Terres Brûlées comes from various parcels in the appellation and was brought up just like the single parcel releases, spending 23 months in 15% new barrels. Its deep purple color is followed by fabulous notes of black raspberries, toasted spice, bouquet garni, and bay leaf. Deep, unctuous and concentrated, with sweet tannin, it's a pleasure-bent effort that will be better with short-term cellaring and deep for a decade or more. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com

98 Points!  Deeper and richer than the Champelrose, the 2015 Cornas La Sabarotte comes from a great vineyard in the middle of the appellation and was raised in new barrels. Its huge nose of black raspberries, cassis, licorice, and violets give way to a full-bodied, incredibly seamless, gorgeously polished 2015 that's perfectly balanced, has sweet tannin, and a great, great finish. 8. Courbis Cornas Champelrose 2015 1.5L Magnum
    JD94
    WA92
    $69.98
    Availability:In Stock
94 Points!   Moving to the Cornas releases, 2015 is an incredible vintage for this estate. Their 2015 Cornas Champelrose comes from slightly younger vines and was destemmed and brought up primarily in neutral barrels. It's a beautiful, elegant, charming Cornas (not something you say very often) that offers terrific notes of black raspberries, currants, incense, spice and violets. Its tannins are sweet, it's already delicious, yet it should evolve nicely for 10-15 years.  The Courbis brothers have hit a home run with these 2015s, the finest wines I’ve tasted from this brilliant estate. - Jeb Dunnuck

  9. Vincent Paris Cornas Granit 60 2015
    JD97
    $54.98
    Availability:In Stock
97 Points! Like the Granite 30, the 2015 Cornas Granite 60 has an incredibly unevolved, barrel sample-like feel. Inky colored, with lots of blueberry and cassis fruit intermixed with searing black pepper, liquid violets and roasted herbs, it has full-bodied richness, a rounded, opulent texture and serious tannic grip. It's gorgeously textured, balanced and pure, and is going to knock your socks off with 2-3 years of bottle age, and keep for two decades. This cuvée comes from the Patou, Les Mazards, and Sauman lieux-dits (this includes some sandy sections as well as plenty of granite terroirs) and was 70% destemmed. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com

  10. Vincent Paris Cornas Granit 60 2016
    JD95
    WA94
    $51.98
    Availability:In Stock
94-96 Points! Tasted from tank prior to bottling, the 2016 Cornas Granit 60 has the potential to eclipse the 2015. The nose is an exciting blend of flowers, minerals and fruit, while the palate is full-bodied and generous without the hardness or austerity of the 2015. This standout 2016 finishes long, plush and bright. With only about 5,000 bottles made, shrewd buyers will snap it up on release. - Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate

90-92 Points! The 2016 Cornas Granit 30 had been blended and was in tank awaiting bottling during my visit. 13. August Clape Cornas Renaissance 2015
    WS94
    JD96
    JS94
    WA92
    $99.98
    Availability:In Stock
96 Points!  The 2015 Cornas Renaissance is sensational, and in the same league as the 2010, although it's made in much more forward, sexy and seamless style. While from the younger vines of the estate, we're still talking about 40- to 50-year-old vines, primarily in the Les Sabarotte and Geynale lieux-dits, made in the exact same way as the grand vin. Offering full-bodied richness, moderate acidity, and incredibly polished tannin, it's as drinkable as it gets, yet has plenty of muscle and fat. Huge notes of black cherries, blueberries, scorched earth, pepper, and game literally soar from the glass of this opaque purple/ruby colored gem that can be enjoyed anytime over the coming 20 years or more. - Jeb Dunnuck
