The Wachauwerk is a unique bottling for Michael and Franz, winemaker friends who started their joint project in 2014. Gruner Veltliner grown biodynamically and to their specifications by some friends in Mautern, in the heart of the Wachau. Temperatures here are warmer and the terrain is more forgiving. Thus, they pick early to retain the freshness, acidity and precision we expect from their wines. As always it is made with minimal intervention, sulphur and with extreme attention to detail. This is a wine that is intended to be more approachable and supremely drinkable while young. Delicious and inviting.
