93 Points! The 2022 Gigondas checks in as 78% Grenache, 14% Syrah, and the rest Cinsault and Mourvèdre, raised in foudres, with the Syrah in demi-muids. It's a killer effort offering beautiful darker fruits supported by some meaty, garrigue, and iron-like nuances. This carries to a medium to full-bodied, gamey, exotic, balanced Gigondas that's just about overflowing with character. I love it today, yet it has another 10-12 years of prime drinking. - Jeb Dunnuck

93 Points! The 2022 Gigondas is gorgeous, bundling intense orange blossom, licorice, ripe strawberry, leafy tones and a touch of graphite on the aromatic composition. Tightly structured by ripe tannins and balanced by a lifting freshness, the full-bodied 2022 requires at least four more years in a cool cellar to mellow. 94 Points! Made from a mix of 60% Domaine Eden and 40% Mount Eden fruit, the 2021 Chardonnay is always a sophisticated wine that overdelivers on its price point, with fresh floral aromatics leading to a medium-bodied mid-palate of beautifully oaked pear and hazelnut layered in juicy acidity. 93 Points! Only just bottled so still quite introverted. Medium-bodied, with good concentration of fruit, quite robust tannins and good acidity. This will be excellent in time. Half whole bunch, and you feel just a touch of aromatic stems, but no excessive greenness or textural harshness. From three parcels around the estate of old-vine Grenache that are between 50 and 70 years old. Partially destemmed, fermented in raw cement tanks then aged in old barriques for 12 months. - Decanter Magazine

93 Points! The 2023 Saint-Romain Sous la Velle offers aromas of grapefruit, pear and white peach framed by a deft touch of smoky reduction. Medium- to full-bodied, ample and textural, with plenty of chalky extract, it’s laden with racy acids and concludes with a long, saline, lemon-tinged finish. 93 Points! The 2023 Saint-Romain Sous le Château has turned out beautifully, offering aromas of tangerine, pear, grapefruit zest and dried white flowers. Medium- to full-bodied, ample and layered, underpinned by racy acidity and chalky extract, it concludes with a long, saline finish. 92-94 Points! Youthful purple. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh black and blue fruits, star anise, olive, violet and tobacco. A smoky mineral accent builds steadily in the glass and energizes the spice-laced, dark berry liqueur, smoky bacon and floral pastille flavors that are underscored by a vein of juicy acidity. 92-95 Points! Fresh pale lemon. Loads of energy here on the nose, but all perfectly balanced. Maximum minerals in this wine which Elsa thinks will be suppressed by longer oak ageing. More flesh than usual in the middle, with a fine persistence. - Jasper Morris

94 Points! The 2016 Pinot Noir Yamhill Cuvée aged 14 months in 44% new French oak. It has a medium ruby-purple color and explosive aromas of warm cranberry sauce, cinnamon stick, clove, forest floor and tar notes with red currants, black cherries, crushed blackberries, tree bark and dried flowers plus an orange peel hint. Medium-bodied and silky, it explodes with ripe fruits, earthy nuances and spices, softly framed and fresh with a long, layered finish. - Erin Brooks, robertparker.com

The first vintage released by Rafael Perez when he took over the estate, this is 100% Garnacha fermented in stainless steel and then aged for 24 months in French barrels of different sizes. It is a very pretty and elegant red with lavender and mint aromas reminiscent of the surrounding forest of San Mart¡n de Unx. The palate is direct with vertical acidity but enough generosity and juicy wild strawberry fruit. A well crafted wine. - Tim Atkin, MW

93+ Points! The 2022 Rosé Clos Mireille Cru Classé is dreamy, wafting up with a perfumed blend of nectarine, sweet white flowers and white strawberry. Like pure silk on the palate, this soothes with its ripe orchard fruits, which are gently contrasted by a bitter tinge of sour citrus as juicy acidity adds fleshy depths. The 2022 cleans up beautifully as inner florals and confectionary spice echo throughout. This is a gorgeous Rosé today, yet it should evolve beautifully for years. - Eric Guido, Vinous Media

93-94 Points! Tasted just before bottling, so a sample of the final blend, the 2023 PSI is juicy, ripe and approachable. It is a little showier and headier, despite having similar alcohol to the bottled 2022 (perhaps a tad higher, but not quite reaching 14%), and it feels a little riper, with peachy notes and some decayed flowers. It has abundant tannins and feels like it's in need of some more time in bottle. This is usually the case for PSI: the tannins need time. The 2020 Angelita del Challao comes from a blend of different vineyards in the three valleys from Labastida, looking for a village wine; it was produced with 85% Tempranillo and the rest Garnacha, Mazuelo, Viura, Garnacha Blanca and other rare varieties from their own vineyards and purchased grapes. It fermented in concrete with indigenous yeasts, 40% full clusters that are foot trodden and the rest uncrushed grapes and matured in 225- and 500-liter barrels and 2,000-liter foudres—10 months with each plot separate—and then it was blended and let to settle in concrete for another 10 months. They look for a more approachable wine than Challao, with more floral aromas in a very elegant and harmonious way. The palate is medium-bodied with medium ripeness, 13.5% alcohol and very good freshness and acidity, balanced and harmonious, very tasty and with elegant, refined tannins. 93 Points! The king of the cellar chez Cornin is the 2021 Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru Les Chevrières, a lovely wine redolent of stone fruits, orange zest, pear, musky spices, flowers and honey, followed by a medium to full-bodied, deep and satiny palate that's lively, seamless and complete. 93 Points! Informed by high-maturity Pinot Noir sourced from a vineyard in the village of Aÿ-Champagne, which is pressed slowly and gently, delivering a subtle pink hue, and complemented by Chardonnay from Avize, Doyard’s 2019 Extra-Brut Grand Cru Millésime Œil de Perdrix has turned out very well. Vinified in 228-liter barrels of different ages and disgorged in October 2023 with three grams per liter dosage, it wafts from the glass with aromas of orange zest, roses, sweet berries and spices. Full-bodied, concentrated and enveloping, with ripe but vibrant acids, delicate phenolic structure and a pillowy mousse, it concludes with a long, perfumed finish. Derived from very old vines in Epointures, Combe du Dessus, Jouise and Les Marchais that produce tiny shot berries, even in a vintage such as this, Dugat-Py's 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Coeur du Roy unwinds in the glass with aromas of cassis and cherries mingled with notions of peonies and spices. Medium to full-bodied, lively and vibrant, with a fleshy core of fruit and suave tannins, it will offer an unusually broad drinking window by the standards of this concentrated, structured bottling. - William Kelley, robertparker.com

97 Points! Suave, elegant and calmly confident. A masterclass in high-definition winemaking where all the elements are presented harmoniously with structure, freshness, complexity and a wide expansive finish. Tannins are well integrated giving support to the shining black Cabernet fruit that has strength, power and concentration but delivered underneath the savoury salinity, liquorice spice and minerality. There’s something very special about this. I love the sense of discretion, a wine that knows it has star quality but it’s not shouting about it. Pure and poised - incredibly inviting! 96 Points! The tension here comes from chalky tannins and lovely tobacco, herbs, cedar and cigar-box character. Currants and blue fruits.
