The second wine of this great estate, the 2019 Petit-Figeac offers a vivid purple hue to go with a great nose of black raspberry and mulberry fruits supported by notes of tobacco, flowers, cedar pencil, and Asian spices. This plump, ripe, medium to full-bodied effort has a round, expansive mouthfeel, sweet tannins, and just loads of up-front charm. It's beautifully done and well worth seeking out.
