The ArteNOM Selección de 1414 Reposado’s agave are cooked in brick ovens for 36 hours, fermented in stainless steel vats and twice distilled in copper pot stills. They use field extracted wild yeast in their ferment, creating a layered flavor and really underlining the terroir of their land. Next up, it sees 4 months in third-fill American Bourbon barrels. You will notice the color of this repo is a shade of very light straw, due to the short period of time it spends in those third-fill barrels which are purposely chosen to be more neutral, adding a gentle wood influence. On the nose the undeniable presence of cooked agave is right up front with spice and a hint of anise intertwined with the brightness of lime and grapefruit zest. Warmth and a touch of sweetness envelopes the palate as the agave takes center stage with just enough influence from the barrel. Spiced shortbread and citrus round out the mid-palate and the finish leaves you a bit of salinity and chili heat. While writing these very notes I pour myself another finger, never regretting that its before 5pm.

From the producer: In the early Spring tasting of 2022, after six years in barrels, our masterpiece was born with a complex body and lavish layers of floral, dried fruit, citrus, baking spices, chocolate and salty caramel flavors balanced with mineral and cask notes. A first sip awakens the palate with citrus notes, a second sip warms the soul with rounded heat and luscious flavors, and a third sip settles the mind with a long lasting elegant finish steeped in terroir.

Each bottle of LALO is 100% pure. We distill only twice to maintain the integrity of our agave, and add no flavors or additives. With LALO, our ingredients are only agave, yeast and water to honor the complex essence of agave.

LOOK at the platinum color; the body and texture. FEEL the viscosity and the quality of the liquid and notice how the aromas stay on your hands. SMELL the top notes of cooked agave, sweet potato, cinnamon and a hint of dulce de leche. SIP and experience the taste of those aromas. Sip again and notice citrus and tropical fruit notes.

On the nose: Intense aromas of cooked agave, vanilla and caramel, enhanced by the slow cooking process, and floral and fruity notes of cantaloupe and peaches.

On the palate: Rich flavors of cooked agave, vanilla, fresh fruit and spices such as cinnamon.

On the nose: A delicate and inviting vanilla nose with notes of bergamot, honey, preserved fruits and orange blossom flowers.

On the Palate: Rich flavors of cooked agave, honey, vanilla with a mid-palate of cacao nibs. A long and generous finish on the palate.

Aroma: Pale golden amber color. Buttercream, dried papaya, caramel custard and nougat aromas.

Notes: A supple, silky entry to a dry-yet-fruity, medium to full body with grilled pepper, mineral and mocha accents. Finishes with a long, cocoa and pepper spice fade with a balanced warmth.

Blowfish Añejo Tequila, made from 100% blue Weber agave, is aged in oak barrels to achieve a rich amber color and a smooth, balanced profile. La Gritona is a tequila crafted from 100 % estate-grown Blue Weber agave and produced in Jalisco with a focus on traditional methods. The Reposado is gently aged in oak barrels for several months, allowing wood influence to meld with the bright agave core for added complexity and smoothness.

Tasting Note:
Soft aromas of cooked agave and vanilla lead with subtle baking spice and light citrus zest. The palate is balanced and warm with notes of caramel, honeyed fruit, and gentle oak, accompanied by hints of cinnamon and toasted nuts. The finish is smooth and lingering, with a touch of sweet oak and fresh agave brightness.

It's a tequila aged for 6 months in American oak barrels. At the end of its aging process, it goes through our activated charcoal filters to achieve greater smoothness and the characteristic of a true clear tequila.

Visually, it has a clear color, with less intensity than our blanco tequila, but it maintains its silver hues.

In terms of aroma, the first scent is of agave, however, it evolves to obtain earthy notes, the characteristic scent of an agave plant.

It has a flavor of white oak barrel, with a smoother taste due to the filtration process, yet sweet, with a rich spiciness and astringency.

Aged for OVER 50 MONTHS in American oak barrels, this attains supreme quality. We refrain from discussing its organoleptic attributes and characteristics because it's best for you to discover the experience of having Soul Mate on your palate.
