From Found North: Batch 009 is our oldest Batch to date. While the cornerstone of this blend is a 19 year old rye aged in Ruby Port barrels, the crux of this whisky is the triplet of 23 year old corn
components that form the foundation of the blend, two of which were aged in New American
Oak and one in Bourbon barrels. We used two additional 19 year old whiskies, one corn and
one rye, as well as a 22 year old corn and a 26 year old corn component to round out the
rest of this 8-whisky tapestry.

Batch 009 lands with a burst of berry fruit and a sweet baking spice counterpart. The
landing dissolves into cinnamon and brown sugar while the fruit notes melt like muscadine
grapes rolling thick viscous vanillin oils across the tongue. The dense raw maple notes seep
into the side palate, dominating the entire midsection like treacle turned into languid
molten lava moving implacably toward the finish. As the rich, viscous molasses note reaches
the last section it transitions into a triad of wood spice, gentle mint tea and oak tannin,
echoing endlessly, reverberating honey, citrus and nutmeg.

95 Points! The 2021 Sideral is a blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Syrah, 9% Carménère, 4% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet Franc from Cachapoal Andes. 90% of it was aged for 16 months in barrels, a fifth of them new. A vivid purple hue. The aromas feature crystal clear blackberry and blackcurrant notes, mulberry, herbs and black tea over a bed of oak. In the mouth, the flavors are intense and juicy with grippy tannins before the languorous, fruity finish. 95 Points! Moving to the West Sonoma Coast (about 4-5 miles inward from the ocean), the 2022 Chardonnay Far Coast Vineyard boasts has a decadent feel but is not heavy. On the nose, it reveals bright, lifted notes of chalky earth, saline, citrus zest, white peach, honeycomb, and fresh flowers. Medium to full-bodied, it has a lovely freshness, with a kiss of sweet fruit through the finish. It has a lovely, savory, and mouthwatering feel without feeling austere and retains its rounded viscous texture, with notes of almond on the finish. Glann Ar Mor is an unpeated French single malt produced by Celtic Whisky Distillerie on the coast of Brittany. Distilled from Maris Otter barley using traditional copper pot stills, it is matured in bourbon barrels near the sea, bottled at 46% alcohol, and released without chill filtration or added coloring. Its coastal maturation and traditional production give the whisky a distinctive combination of malt richness and maritime character.

Full-bodied, yet so refined and layered, with a soft, compact palate and a crushed-velvet mouth-feel. Poised fruit at the end, together with fresh, rare wood and a light chocolate undertone to the aftertaste. This is open, yet there’s so much in reserve. 60% merlot and 40% cabernet franc. 97 Points!  Grilled oak notes, this is bursting with rich damson, blueberry and blackberry fruits. Stretches out slowly in the palate, showing nudges of liquorice, fennel, bitter chocolate and olive paste, coming in waves but each one taking its time. Great definition and purity of expression, with tannins that are confident but tender. This is less exuberant than the 2018, but it's built to age, and is a total knockout. 100% new oak, some in 30hl oak casks. Harvest September 24th til October 11th. 91 Points! Le Creete vineyard is located at the southern end of Lake Garda and planted on the limestone and clay soils that make this region so interesting. As if basking in the sun, the wine opens with aromas of warmed pineapple, guava and lemon with heady white flowers wafting in and out. The palate lifts with tart notes of passion fruit and lemon peel, with a texture that has layers upon layers to explore. Crushed chalky notes define the lengthy and elegant finish. - Wine Enthusiast

La Carriere is situated at an elevation of around 1,200-1,700 feet with a rocky, shallow, volcanic soil that gives low fertility and is among the lowest yields of all the Peter Michael vineyards. The vineyard is planted to Dijon and Hyde (Old Wente) clone selections. This 2018 Chardonnay la Carriere starts off very citrusy, leaping from the glass with notes of fresh limes and grapefruit, before coming through with alluring honey-drizzled peaches, fresh ginger and preserved kumquat notes.
