Giornata Fiano Paso Robles 2023
$26.98HURRY, ONLY 9 LEFT!VM93RP9393 Points! The 2023 Fiano is totally captivating, wafting up with vivid sliced apricot complicated by a hint of sour melon and crushed stones. It splashes across the palate, displaying pretty inner sweetness and silken textures, with a peach preserves character that I find wildly attractive. Brisk acidity maintains balance as tropical citrus tones and a nuance of mango linger. Despite this nearly decadent description, the 2023 is incredibly fresh and goes down far too easily. - Eric Guido, Vinous
93 Points! Always a highlight of the Giornata range, the 2023 Fiano opens with an expressive bouquet of dried flowers, beeswax, citrus peels and cleansing, herbal flourishes. The palate combines a sappy, broad texture with a gently elastic core, culminating in a taut, poised and layered finish that lingers with remarkable length. A lovely combination of perfumed, lively and powerful, this should be a pleasure to follow through the better part of a decade. - Matthew Luczy, robertparker.com

Noon Shiraz Reserve South Australia 1999
$79.98HURRY, ONLY 8 LEFT!RP9696 Points! The hugely extracted, massive 1999 Shiraz Reserve tips the scales at 15.2% alcohol. From Shiraz vines that average 35-40 years of age, it was aged in a combination of small and large oak barrels as well as puncheons. There are 580 cases of this behemoth. An opaque blue/purple color and a knockout nose of blackberry liqueur intermixed with spice box, pepper, asphalt, and licorice soar from the glass. Opulent and viscous, with tremendous palate presence, beautifully integrated acidity, tannin, and alcohol, this superb, larger-than-life wine is a tour de force for a lighter weight vintage such as 1999. Anticipated maturity: 2003-2020. - Robert Parker, June 2001 Learn More -
Kilchoman 8 Year Port Cask Matured Single Malt Scotch Wine Exchange Barrel Pick
Special Price $124.98 Regular Price $129.98Only 2 casks of this special Scotch were produced!
Our Winex exclusive cask was aged for 8 years, spending just over 7 years in ex-Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels and then transferred into fresh Sandeman Ruby Port Casks for 6 months. At 55.9% ABV we recommend just a splash of water. The nose is complex and layered with cocoa powder, stewed cherries and biscuit peeking through the distinctive peat. The peat from Kilchoman has always stood out in my mind because it lacks any medicinal or burnt rubber qualities that turn many off to a peated scotch. On the palate it opens up with a hint of sweetness from the port cask. Flavors of baked cherry tart, citrus marmalade, toffee and dusty cocoa are wrapped cozily with the smokiness of the peat which warms the senses with pipe tobacco, smoldering earth and crushed seashell notes. The finish is long and cascading with a full and satisfyingly round mouthfeel.

Catena Zapata Chardonnay White Stones Adrianna Vineyard 2022
$124.98HURRY, ONLY 6 LEFT!JS97RP9797 Points! This is always minerally and incisive and very different from White Bones. This is more classic chardonnay, with lots of freshly squeezed lemons, wet stone, flint and seashells. Brisk acidity on a medium- to full-bodied palate. Tense and intense, but this is acid-driven with a fine touch of salinity that lingers at the end. Drink or hold. - JamesSuckling.com
97 Points! The 2022 Adrianna Vineyard Chardonnay White Stones is more introverted, understated and explicitly chiseled than its more textural and exotic White Bones companion. On the nose, it opens with transparent yet focused aromas of citrus pith and crushed stones, introducing a sleek, vibrant and laser-focused palate. The finish is similarly angular and incisive, continuously generating additional depth and dimension with time in the glass. While I slightly preferred the White Bones bottling due to its extra gear of complexity and textural depth, this is another clear-cut yardstick by which to measure the progress of Argentine white-wine production. - Matthew Luczy, robertparker.com

$89.98JD97VM9697 Points! A bright red ruby hue, the 2022 Pinot Noir The Estate is lifted in the glass and has a lot of fresh, bright notes of rosy perfume, grenadine, rosemary, and sweet earth. Medium-bodied, it has a vibrant energy and savory drive on the palate, with notes of salty earth and tea leaf, a light umami richness, ripe tannins, and evenly balanced acidity. It is lovely all the way through and is going to show its best if given more time in bottle. Drink 2026-2040. - Audrey Frick, jebdunnuck.com
96 Points! The 2022 Pinot Noir The Estate is a wine of total class and understatement. Bright red-toned fruit and well-judged oak inform this sculpted, striking Pinot Noir. I especially admire the energy here. Blood orange, mint, crushed rocks, citrus and dried herbs open with a bit of time in the glass. This translucent, crystalline Pinot is, quite simply, magnificent. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

Domaines Lupier Garnacha Navarra El Terroir 2023
$29.98RP9595 Points! The 2023 El Terroir is a village red from San Martín de Unx that was selected from six different vineyards that were harvested quite early, at the beginning of September. It fermented with full clusters, indigenous yeasts and a long maceration. It is slightly darker than La Dama, with more clout and some more tannins but all relative to La Dama, which is superlative, because outside that context, this would be super fragrant, elegant and subtle. It has container power, lots of energy and depth and a beautiful combination of wild berries, herbs and flowers. It has a fine-boned, medium-bodied palate and good balance. It has contained ripeness and around 13.5% alcohol. - Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com

$39.98Out of StockJS94LPB94Out of stock94 Points! The 2019 Odyssee is an eclectic blend of Bordeaux and Rhone vineyards, made by Pierre Graffeuille (now at Montrose) and Matthieu Dumarcher, composed of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Medoc, and 25% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre from the Rhone. Medium garnet-purple in color, it springs from the glass with vivacious notes of black raspberries, mulberries, and juicy plums, followed by an undercurrent of crushed blackcurrants, Indian spices, and charcoal with a waft of garrigue. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is packed with spicy black fruit flavors, supported by velvety tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long with a skip in its step. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent
94 Points! Such a fetching nose full of spices, showing lots of cumin, tangy peppercorn to the fresh blackberries and blueberries. Medium-bodied palate with a tangy profile of spice and blue fruit. Tannins are creamy and small-grained, giving a nice, seamless grip to the finale. Cabernet sauvignon, grenache and mourvedre. Irresistible now, but can hold, too. - James Suckling

Clos Henri Sauvignon Blanc Otira 'Glacial Stones' 2024
$29.98RP9696 Points! The 2024 Otira Glacial Stones Sauvignon Blanc is just such a fantastic wine. I love it every year. Mineral tension, poise and elongated shape are the hallmarks of this wine. The wine has a smell of fresh sheets, crisp, crushed shells, white spice and ocean air. I appreciate the length and stretch of this wine—it fully extends and lingers, and there is a textural pulsing and undulation. It is truly excellent. 2024 was a warm vintage and produced wines of amplitude and volume, yet here the terroir has compressed the fruit into its own shape. So, with the coupling of the season and the terroir, we have this. It's a triumph among triumphs. The numbers of this wine are mad/impressive to behold: very low pH (2.97), a good level of total acidity (6.5) and 14% alcohol. Years of high-density planting and organic management (since 2010, certified 2013) in this place has enabled a wine of balance to achieve these numbers. - Erin Larkin, robertparker.com
