$26.98Out of StockWS90RP90Out of stock90 Points! The non-vintage 10-Year-Old Malmsey has an introspective, marmalade, fig and burnt sugar-scented bouquet that gently unfurls in the glass. The palate is very well-balanced, with a viscous entry that lacquers the mouth. The acidity is very well-judged, lending the finish a sense of poise and tension that neatly counterbalances the richness and precocity. This is very well-made. Bois de Boursan Chateauneuf du Pape Tradition 2022
$44.98HURRY, ONLY 11 LEFT!VM92The 2022 opens in the glass with ripe raspberry, black cherry, cassis and cedar. Scheduled to age in large foudres for two years, ripe tannins offer the wine a good structure and framework. Finishing on a savory note, the 2022 looks quite promising at this early stage. - Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous
The classic red of the domaine accounts for approximately 85% of the annual production of the estate. It is composed of 65% Grenache Noir, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre and a balance of other traditional varieties. The grapes are not destemmed, the cuvaison lasts for three weeks and the élevage encompasses an additional 18 months in traditional foudre wood vats before the wine is bottled unfiltered. The fruit is perfectly in balance with the textural elements, showing typical dark fruit notes with discernible energy and liveliness. Its slighty sauvage character and firm structural backbone is leavened by its exceptional breed.

94 Points! Vibrant plum colour with violet edging, glass staining and gorgeous. A serious Pavillon Rouge, as is typical of the vintage, with fleshy raspberry and bilberry fruits, espresso and cocoa bean, precise and clean-cut, taking serious aim at the tannic frame. This is even more concentrated than 2016 in terms of the analysis, and the intensity of the fruit character suggests long ageing ahead of it. The estate saw 80mm of rain on August 13 but apart from that there was almost no rain for six weeks. 36hl/h yield (compared to 55hl/h in 2016, explaining the extra concentration here), 55% new oak for ageing. - Jane Anson -
