      96–98 Points – Jeb Dunnuck
“The 2025 Château Langoa Barton is based on 45% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 15% Cabernet Franc. Darker currants, smoky tobacco, graphite, and tons of violet and floral nuances all shine on the nose, and it has remarkable purity, full-bodied richness, a broad, layered mouthfeel, and ripe, polished tannins on the palate. The finish is a blockbuster. It's probably the greatest Langoa ever.”

95 Points – Georgina Hindle, Decanter
“Liquorice and blackcurrant aromas on the nose, smells quite dark and heady and seductive. Supple and filling with a really wide and ample expression. An impressive Langoa this year with some wood spice on the finish. Really a cool, classic, fresh, hands-off kind of style.”

      94–95 Points – James Suckling
“Focused, with volume and drive, it shows aromas of berries, warm spices and some leather. Medium- to full-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Structured and compact, with bright fruit at its core. Long, focused finish.”

93–95 Points – Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
“Black currant, cigar wrappers, cedar, peppery spices and herbs are already expressive in the nose. The palate is sweet, juicy, firm, and round, finishing with ripe blackberries and cassis in an almost forward, juicy, creamy style that really works here.”

92–94 Points – Wine Advocate (William Kelley)
“Cropped at a mere 20 hectoliters per hectare, one of the lowest yields ever recorded at this address, the 2025 Langoa Barton offers up aromas of dark berries, pencil shavings, spices and new oak. Medium- to full-bodied, with bright acids and chalky tannins.”

92–94 Points – Neal Martin, Vinous
“The 2025 Langoa-Barton has a lively bouquet with blueberry and cassis scents, and just a background touch of peppermint. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a lovely caressing texture, very well balanced with a touch of pepperiness towards the persistent finish. What a gorgeous Langoa!”

92–94 Points – The Wine Independent (Lisa Perrotti-Brown)
“Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Langoa Barton comes bounding out with exuberant notes of fresh red plums and black cherries, followed by hints of pencil lead, black olives, and bay leaves. Energetic and refreshing with fine-grained tannins and a savory finish.”

      95–97+ Points – Jeb Dunnuck
“The 2025 Château Lagrange is a brilliant Saint-Julien that offers classic Cabernet Sauvignon notes of cassis, graphite, tobacco leaf, violets, and crushed stone. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated, and beautifully balanced, it has ripe tannins, outstanding purity, and a long, elegant finish. One of the finest vintages I have tasted from this estate.”

      94–96 Points – Wine Advocate
“The 2025 Lagrange shows excellent potential, offering up notes of cassis, dark berries and violets, framed by a subtle touch of new oak. Medium- to full-bodied, deep and dense, with a concentrated core of fruit, sweet tannins and a long, penetrating finish. It's a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, checking in at 13.6% alcohol. Representing half the estate's production, its mid-palate depth and amplitude reflect the decision to harvest the estate's Cabernet Sauvignon late, between September 21 and October 10.”

93–95 Points – Lisa Perrotti-Brown, The Wine Independent
“Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Lagrange shoots from the glass with intense notes of wild blueberries, black currant jelly, and black raspberries, leading to suggestions of pencil lead, lilacs, and menthol with a touch of black olives. The medium-bodied palate delivers a crisp backbone and very fine-grained tannins to support the bright black berry layers, finishing long and chalky. The blend is 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot.”

93–95 Points – Neal Martin, Vinous
“The 2025 Lagrange has a beautifully defined bouquet with blackberry, cassis, graphite, and subtle floral aromas. The palate is poised and energetic with fine-grained tannins, excellent freshness, and impressive precision through the finish.”

      93–94 Points – James Suckling
“Aromas of blackberries, tar and a touch of violets. Medium- to full-bodied with good concentration and expressive dark fruit, framed by firm, fine-grained tannins and a persistent finish.”

      96–98 Points – Jeb Dunnuck
“A brilliant, deeply hued wine, the 2025 Château Beychevelle is based on 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot, and is still resting in 70% new oak. One of the earliest harvests ever recorded at this château, with very tiny yields, it has a ripe, sexy, gorgeously textured style with ripe black cherries, graphite, spicy wood, and dried flowers on the nose. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with a round, layered mouthfeel, velvety tannins, and a blockbuster finish. Hitting 13.5% alcohol with a pH of 3.6, this is a ripe, expressive Beychevelle that will evolve gracefully for 30 years or more.”

96–98 Points – Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
“The floral bouquet is what you initially notice; from there, your attention quickly turns to its array of red and black fruits, licorice, tobacco, mint leaves, and cedar. The palate is elegant, silky, creamy, fresh, and concentrated. It takes just a second to sense the wealth of fruit on the palate, with vibrancy, refinement, and purity. The finish continues along the same path, with layers of perfectly ripe fruit, a touch of salinity, and hints of licorice, espresso, and cocoa. Clearly, this is among the best wines in the estate's history.”

95–97 Points – Neal Martin, Vinous
“The 2025 Beychevelle was picked from September 5 to 21 at 31 hl/ha. Matured in 70% new oak, this has a concentrated nose with blackcurrants, blueberry, inkwell and light violet scents. Very fine definition, a Beychevelle that leans on the more opulent side aromatically, though always controlled. The palate is medium-bodied with a velvety smooth entry that lends it sensuality. Extremely precise, exquisite pure fruit, quite mineral-driven with a very long, sensual finish. I don't think Philippe Blanc has overseen a Beychevelle as good as this.”

95–97 Points – Antonio Galloni, Vinous
“The 2025 Beychevelle is a very sexy wine. Plush and exuberant, the 2025 is seriously impressive right out of the gate. Blackberry, lavender, mocha, crème de cassis and a kick of French oak are all beautifully amplified in the glass. More than anything else, the 2025 is a wine of extreme pleasure. It is an exceptional Beychevelle, one of the finest in recent memory.”

      94 Points – Decanter
“Such a gorgeous fragrance on the nose, so alive, so floral and expressive with milk chocolate, cherries and violets. Grippy and alive in the mouth, fun, bright, certainly full of tannins and grip with a lovely core of black bramble fruit with straight acidity. It's a big, powerful, muscular wine but so poised, mouthwatering and charming.”

93–95 Points – Neal Martin, Vinous
“The 2025 Talbot has a generous bouquet with red and black fruit intermixed with mocha and light undergrowth scents. Fine tannins, well judged acidity and satisfying density on the mid-palate.”

93 Points – Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux
“This is good quality, with lovely power, black fruits, campfire edges and grilled sandalwood.”

      92–94 Points – Jeb Dunnuck

92–94 Points – The Wine Independent (Lisa Perrotti-Brown)

92–94 Points – Antonio Galloni, Vinous
“The 2025 Talbot is a huge, potent wine. Blackberry, gravel, incense, dried herbs, menthol, licorice and dark spice soar out of the glass.”

96 Points – Georgina Hindle, Decanter
“Such scented notes on the nose with jasmine, lavender, violets, peonies and deep blackcurrants alongside tobacco and clove. Supple and wonderfully textured with precision, concentration and intensity.”

95–97 Points – The Wine Independent (Lisa Perrotti-Brown)
“Warm cassis, black cherries and red currant jelly are layered with sandalwood, rose oil, pencil shavings and forest floor. Elegant yet intense with super fine-grained tannins and a lively line.”

95–97 Points – Neal Martin, Vinous
“Tightly wound black fruit, sous-bois and tobacco with fine delineation and firmly classical in style. A more tertiary Gruaud Larose that lingers beautifully in the mouth.”

95 Points – Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux
“You get the tannic grip of the vintage in spades, but as you sit with the wine, a creaminess appears through the mid palate that is highly appealing. A ton of potential here, great quality.”

96–98 Points – Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
“Flowers, black currants, cedar, cigar wrapper, spice, smoke, and black cherries fill the perfume. The palate is deep, concentrated, vibrant, and layered with ripe tannins, freshness, and a long finish loaded with sweet cassis and graphite. This is one of the top vintages of Gruaud Larose in recent memory.”

94–96 Points – Wine Advocate (William Kelley)
“Unwinding in the glass with notes of dark berries, cassis, plums mingled with hints of violet and pencil shavings, the 2025 Gruaud Larose is medium- to full-bodied, supple and suave, with a deep core of fruit, lovely energy and ripe, powdery tannins.”

“A Cabernet-dominant blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc, the 2025 Château Léoville Barton checks in at 13.5% alcohol with a pH of 3.6. Crème de cassis, smoked tobacco, liquid violets, iron, and an incredible sense of graphite all define the aromatics of this brilliant, deep, pure, and layered beauty. On the palate, it's full-bodied, inward, and powerfully structured, and reminds me slightly of the 2010 with its deep, concentrated style. It has enormous potential.”

97 Points – Jane Anson, Inside Bordeaux
“Beautiful vintage at Léoville Barton, delivering layer upon layer of crayon, graphite, textural interest and character. Black chocolate and espresso coupled with finesse and fragrance take you into the heart of Saint-Julien. A flood of flavour, what a brilliantly judged wine.”

97 Points – Georgina Hindle, Decanter
“Beautiful aromas, expressive and open, really fragrant with bright purple flowers and dark cherries. Supple and so energetic, with tension coming from really quite high acidity matching the soft fleshiness of the dark blackcurrant and raspberry fruit. Crushed stone minerality on the finish.”

95–97 Points – Neal Martin, Vinous
“The 2025 Léoville Barton has an exquisite bouquet already, with ebullient blackberry and bilberry scents, beautifully integrated oak, keeping the DNA of Léoville Barton despite the warm summer. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, gentle grip, very pure fruit and a cool, focused finish. Superb.”

      95–96 Points – James Suckling
“Dark ripe fruit and a touch of licorice on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied with a firm tannic structure on the palate, showing dark fruit, chocolate and walnut flavors.”

94–96 Points – Antonio Galloni, Vinous
“The 2025 Léoville Barton is deep, powerful and wonderfully refined. Dark red-toned fruit, graphite, lavender, cedar and spice all build beautifully in the glass. A Saint-Julien of real pedigree and class.”

95–97 Points – The Wine Independent (Lisa Perrotti-Brown)
“Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2025 Léoville Barton bursts with bold notes of cassis and kirsch, leading to hints of crushed rocks, violets, mossy tree bark, and damp soil. The medium-bodied palate is wonderfully bright and earthy with great tension and firm, fine-grained tannins supporting the intense black fruit layers, finishing long and perfumed.”

93–95 Points – Wine Advocate (William Kelley)
“Another wine that will appeal to purists, the 2025 Léoville Barton offers up notes of crème de cassis, violets, pencil shavings and new oak, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, taut and penetrating palate that's racy and youthfully structured.”

95–97 Points – Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider
“Flowers, black currants, cedar, cigar wrapper, spice, and graphite create the perfume. Deep, layered, vibrant, and energetic, with polished tannins and a long cassis-filled finish.”
