A & G Fantino Barolo Bussia Cascina Dardi Riserva 2008
AG
95
Availability: In Stock
95+ Points!  The 2008 Barolo Riserva has barely budged since I tasted it a year ago. While so many other 2008 Barolos are built on perfume and grace, Fantino's 2008 Riserva has those qualities, along with a surprising amount of pure, unbridled power. This uber-classic, deceptively mid-weight Barolo packs a serious punch. A host of swe ...read more

A & G Fantino Vino Rosso Laboro Disobedient 2011
AG
94
Availability: Low Availability
94 Points! The 2011 Disobedient is just as compelling from bottle as it was from barrel, maybe more. Rich, explosive and powerful, the Disobedient captures all of the best qualities of the vintage. Succulent red cherry, kirsch, pomegranate, spice, new leather, sweet rose petal and autumn leaves give the 2011 its superb aromatic presence. Far f ...read more

Abbazia Di Novacella Valle Isarco Kerner 2015

Availability: Sold Out
90 Points! The 2015 Kerner, an Abbazia di Novacella signature, is terrific. Floral in its bouquet, but also creamy and expressive on the palate, the 2015 is a complete, impeccably balanced white. Green pear, jasmine, mint and apple give the 2015 its brightness and vibrant salinity, but there is also more than enough depth to fill out the wine& ...read more

Adami Prosecco Valdobbiadene Vigna Giardino 2014
Availability: Low Availability
A fantastic expression of single vineyard Prosecco, that, since its not from 'Cartizze', hits the shelf at a realistic price. The Vigneto Giradino has vines, if memory serves, going back to the 1920's on its terraced slopes. It's one ofthe most pretigious sites in prosecco and the Adami gang does it justice with this drier, yet terribly refreshing version.

Aglaea Etna Rosso Annacare 2012
Availability: In Stock
Arguably the most mind-blowing we've tasted this year under $100. You just get lost in ther stuff. Incredible Pinot-like concentration from these ancient vines, too many notes aromatically, changing by the minute. Incense, cherry, baking spice, bouquet garni all of these impressions follow through on the palate with a remarkable build and ultra-fine tannins. Wow.

Aglaea Etna Rosso N'Anticchia 2010
Availability: In Stock
The 2009 version of this micro-production Nerello Mascalese from winemaking genius Paolo Caciorgna blew up the scene with a monster 94 point score from Wine Advocate. This wine, once again produced from their one acre parcel of 100+ year-old vines, is better. More refined, more in tune with its supple, silky clearly Burgundian model, this is truly one of Etna's Grand Crus. But please, decant at least one hour prior to serving!

Aromas of blueberry, mineral and flower follow through to a full body with firm tannins and a rich, flavorful finish. A big Barbera with lots of fruit and ripeness. Hard not to love. Drink or hold. - James Suckling
