Virginie Thunevin Bordeaux 2012
Again, the Thunevin family (his daughter, Virginie, owns this property) goes out of their way to blend up an instantly delightful, yet amply endowed bottle of Bordeaux that wine lovers can buy guilt-free by the case. Surprisingly serious wine for the money, Jean-Luc Thunevin (Chateau Valandraud) bought this property in 2006 for his daughter Virginie Thunevin. The care of the vines, the harvest and the winemaking are followed by the same managing team as Château Valandraud: Christophe Lardière as head of the vines, Rémi Dalmasso as cellar master and Jean-Luc Thunevin as always with Claude Gros.
