  1. La Antigua Rioja Clasico Blanco 2014
    VM91
    $21.98
    Availability:In Stock
91 Points! Aged for 14 months in new and used oak barrels, 80 percent of them French and 20 percent American) Green-tinged gold. Meyer lemon, toasted grain, ginger and white flowers on the mineral-accented nose. Fleshy and dry on the palate, offering concentrated citrus and orchard fruit flavors and complicating notes of tarragon and honey. Shows a suave blend of richness and vivacity. Finishes spicy and very long, featuring lingering notes of bitter pear skin and candied ginger. - Josh Raynolds, Vinous Media

  2. Olivier Riviere Rioja Blanco Mirando Al Sur 2015
    JS96
    WA93
    $64.98
    Availability:In Stock
93+ Points! It seems like the effect of the Jerez barrels used to age the 2015 Mirando al Sur is weaker each year, so Olivier Rivière decided to not top up the barrels anymore in the 2016 vintage. This is still nutty and spicy, but the "flor" character is subtler, though it increased as the wine sat in the glass in contact with air. This is produced with the same village and the same process as La Bastid (the old Jequitibá), but then it is aged in Sherry butts for 12 months. It has pungent flavors and the dry and chalky texture of both the limestone soils and the Sherry wines.  - Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate

  3. Olivier Riviere Rioja Blanco La Bastid 2016
    WA92
    $24.98
    Availability:In Stock
92 Points! The white Jequitibá has been renamed to La Bastid starting with the 2016 vintage. But the 2016 La Bastid is still the same blend of Viura with some 10% Malvasía Riojana and Garnacha from La Bastida. It's a very serious white with great depth, complexity, mouthfeel and grip, with the stuffing to develop in bottle for a good time. It has a vibrant palate with clean, focused flavors and great length. - Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate
