94 Points! The 2008 La Cueva de Contador is 100% Tempranillo aged for 18 months in new French oak. This purple-colored Rioja offers up a striking nose of sandalwood, Asian spices, incense, lilacs, espresso, and blackberry. Savory, ripe, sweetly-fruited, and incipiently complex, it will evolve for 6-8 years and drink well through 2028, if not longer. - robertparker.com Learn More
  3. Montebuena Rioja Cuvee KPF 2016
    VM91
    $12.98
    Availability:In Stock
91 Points! Vivid ruby-red. Sexy, oak-tinged red berry and floral pastille scents pick up vanilla and licorice flourishes with aeration. Juicy and focused on the palate, offering sweet black raspberry and cherry flavors that unfold and spread out steadily on the back half. Shows impressive clarity and spicy persistence on the lively finish, which is given shape by smooth, even tannins. - Josh Raynolds, Vinous Media Learn More
  4. Izadi Rioja El Regalo 2014
    JS91
    WA91
Special Price $19.98 Regular Price $32.98
    Availability:In Stock
91 Points! The 2014 El Regalo is named after the estate in the village of Villabuena where the old-vine Tempranillo grapes used for it are grown. The destemmed and crushed grapes fermented in oak vats with half of the volume going through malolactic in those vats and the other half in new barriques. The wine matured in the best barriques money can buy (50% French, 50% American) for some 20 months. It's ripe, heady, juicy and with a lactic component that gives it a commercial profile. The palate is full-bodied, chewy and tannic. Contrary to what many might think, the younger wine is also the most expensive. - Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com Learn More
