  1. Bedrock Evangelho Vineyard Heritage Red Wine Contra Costa County 2018
    $35.98
    Availability:In Stock
Winery notes: Own-rooted on forty-foot-deep banks of beach sand alongside the Sacramento River Delta, Evangelho is a totally unique site. Planted in the 1890s, the vineyard is a viticultural survivor—wedged between a PG&E plant, a Burger King, and a motel that rents rooms by the hour. A field-blend of Zinfandel, Carignane, Mourvedre, and others, the wines are fresh, bright, and typically have some of the lowest pHs of any of the Bedrock wines. Learn More
  2. Bedrock The Bedrock Heritage Red Wine Sonoma Valley 2018
    $49.98
    Availability:In Stock
Winery notes: The O.G. of Bedrock Wine Co.! These vines turned 131 years in 2018 and decided it would be a great year to turn out a relatively small crop of delicious and dense fruit. As always, the wine, though based around Zinfandel, is a field-blend of the 27 varieties found in the old vines at my family’s site in the heart of Sonoma Valley, including about 20% Carignan and 5% Mataro. Like the other Sonoma Valley "Grand Cru" sites, this will definitely reward time in the decanter or a few years on its side to start showing all of its secrets. The most consistently decorated of our wines (the 2016 was the Spectator #10 wine of the year and the 2017 just got another 95), the 2018 should be another classic. Learn More

92 Points! Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Zinfandel Rockpile Ridge Vineyard features notes of baked plums, blackberry tart and forest floor over nuances of stewed rhubarb, tar and raisin cake. Medium to full-bodied, the palate reveals plenty of earth and savory layers, framed by chewy tannins and oodles of freshness, finishing long. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, robertparker.com Learn More

  5. J Dusi Zinfandel Paso Robles Dante Dusi Vineyard 2017
    $29.98
    Availability:In Stock
Winery notes: The Dante Dusi Vineyard, planted in 1945, is a head-trained and dry-farmed vineyard, which is an old world style of farming resulting in a low yielding, highly concentrated fruit. Farmed by 5 generations of the Dusi family, this 100 acre vineyard serves as a benchmark to the Paso Robles Wine Industry. Learn More

    VM90
    $18.98
    Availability:In Stock
90 Points! The Zinfandel-based 2016 Román is plump, juicy and forward. Succulent red cherry, plum, spice and leather are all propped up by bright acids. Dollops of Petite Sirah and Barbera round out the blend. This is a fabulous value from Marietta. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media Learn More
  10. Marietta Zinfandel Alexander Valley Estate Grown Angeli 2016
    JD93
    VM92
    $29.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! The 2016 Zinfandel Angeli (96% Zinfandel, 2% Syrah, and 2% Petite Sirah) comes from Alexander Valley in the northern part of California. Its plum/purple color is followed by a rockingly good bouquet of spiced plums, cedar, sandalwood, and exotic spice. Medium to full-bodied, focused, elegant and seamless, with a silky texture, it's very much in the style of the 2016 vintage. While already hard to resist, it should keep for 6-7 years. It's a great value. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More
  11. Berthoumieu Madiran Cuvee Charles de Batz 2014
    $18.98
    Availability:In Stock
Importer notes: The wine is composed of 90% Tannatwith 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from vines that are at least 50 years old. The soil in these vineyards is clay and limestone with some round stones at the surface. After being completely destemmed, the Cabernet and Tannat are fermented separately in cement tanks. During this time, a bit of micro-oxygénation or microboullage takes place. The wine then goes into oak (60%) in an underground cellar where it also undergoes malolacticfermentation. After twelve months in wood, it is blended and bottled after a very light filtration. Learn More
  12. Mike and Molly Hendry Zinfandel RW Moore Vineyard Napa Valley 2016
    $34.98
    Availability:In Stock
This is a bigger, badder Moore! Mike Hendry almost apologized for its intensity when we met and tasted with him. These 111-year-odl vines really brought their A Game in 2016, enthralling, spicy, peppery, brambly Napa Valley Zin, of which there are less and less every year. A legend. Learn More
  13. Hendry Zinfandel Blocks 7 & 22 Napa Valley 2015
    $28.98
    Availability:In Stock
Winery notes: One of the two wines George Hendry made in his very first offering of a few hundred cases back in 1992 was from Block 7, planted in 1975. It remains the foundation of one of our flagship wines. Both block 7 and 22 are located on benchlands west of the town of Napa. The nine acres are between 230 and 300 feet above sea level and have thin, stony Boomer series soils. The maritime climate is moderated by morning fog and strong afternoon breezes from San Pablo Bay. Block 7 was planted forty-three years ago in 1975 to clone 2 Zinfandel. Block 22 was planted twenty-three years ago, in 1995, also to clone 2. The vines are spaced 8’ x 10’, cordon trained and spur-pruned. A three-wire trellis system supports the cordon and the canopy. Learn More
  14. Outpost Zinfandel Howell Mountain 2016
    JD96
    $49.98
    Availability:In Stock
96 Points! I loved the 2016 Zinfandel Howell Mountain, and this beauty has everything you could want from a mountain Zinfandel. Possessing a huge perfume of blue fruits, leafy herbs, and cedarwood, it hits the palate with medium to full-bodied richness, silky tannins, and a pleasure-bent, complex, layered texture that just begs to be drunk. It too will keep for over a decade. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com Learn More
