Reuilly is an outcropping of limestone and clay soil that makes for a terroir suitable for the vine in a region dominated by grain farming. The allowed varieties of Reuilly are Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, which is only allowed for rosé, this one being a beguiling wine with the slightly pink tint and rich texture of the Pinot Gris grape, more than just a dry rosé. 3. Donkey and Goat Pinot Gris Ramato Filigreen Farm 2017
    VM91
    $24.98
    Availability:In Stock
91 Points! Limpid peach skin. Pungent red berry, citrus pith and floral scents plus hints of succulent herbs and an exotic honey nuance. Juicy and focused on the palate, offering mineral-inflected strawberry and tangelo flavors that pick up a hint of smokiness as the wine stretches out. Blends red and white wine qualities in an intriguing fashion, but no, it's not a pink wine style. Finishes silky and long, featuring repeating florality and a lingering hint of bitter berry skin. - Josh Raynolds, Vinous Media

  4. Zind Humbrecht Pinot Gris Clos Windsbuhl Alsace 2013
    JS94
    VM95
Special Price $44.98 Regular Price $80.00
    Availability:Out of Stock
95 Points! Gold-tinged straw. Ginger, quince and white stone fruits on the nose and in the mouth, along with delicate smoky and sage nuances. The long finish features a note of sweet pear nectar and lingering minerality. This wine has 10 g/l residual sugar and 6.2 g/l total acidity, so it tastes dry; it reminded me a little of a Chenin Blanc. It also has a whopping 14.5% alcohol, but you’d never know it. The ability to reach this marvelous balance is the true magic of the Clos Windsbuhl and Olivier Humbrecht’s talent. - Ian D'Agata, Vinous Media
