  1. Von Winning Riesling GG Ungeheuer 2017
    DEC97
    $49.98
    Availability:In Stock
97 Points! There are few parts of Germany warmer than Pfalz, formerly a tobacco-growing zone where the almond trees flower, and this generous yet delicate Riesling sums up its appeal. The colour is mid-to full-gold with enticing scents of juicy peach and juicy oranges too, of sweet talc, of white chocolate and a little lurking spice. On the palate it is round, warm, tender and full yet freshened by a sense of incipient stoniness in its textures as well as by the giving acidity which underscores the juiciness of its fruits. It's so delicious now this will be hard to stow away in the cellar for long, but there will be rewards if you can manage it. Drink 2019-2025 - Decanter Magazine World Wine Awards Learn More
  2. Wittmann Estate Riesling Trocken 2018
    $18.98
    Availability:In Stock
Here's perhaps the friendliest, tastiest verison of this wine we can remember having from the great Wittmann! Importer's notes: The Wittmann Estate Riesling Trocken is harvested by hand from estate-owned vineyards around the village of Westhofen. It is fermented with native yeasts and matured in large, neutral oak casks. The wine shows a deep, stony aroma, with an elegant structure and bright citrus juice that leads to a lingering, piquant finish. Learn More
  3. Dr. Hermann Riesling Kabinett Urziger Würzgarten Mosel 2017
    WA94
    $19.98
    Availability:In Stock
94 Points! The 2017 Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Kabinett is from old vines on the upper part of the cru, where the plants root in volcanic sandstone soils and benefit from a slower ripening. It offers generously aromatic tropical fruit that reminds me a bit of the Erdener Prälat in its warm and concentrated fruit flavor. Very elegant, lush and piquant, with fascinating vibrancy and lingering salinity, this is a gorgeous and complex Kabinett with 8% alcohol and 50.6 grams per liter of residual sugar. Lush and gorgeous! - Stephan Reinhardt, robertparker.com Learn More
  4. Willi Schaefer Riesling Kabinett Graacher Himmelreich 2018
    $29.98
    Availability:In Stock
“We bought it all; let’s hope there’s some left by the time you read this. A perfect slatey Schaefer Kab. No more needs to be said. Have fun and drink this now in hot summer weather without a scintilla of guilt regarding that “infanticide” nonsense. I mean, you could wait 15 years and it’ll taste no different than it does now, so go on and play peek-a-boo with baby.” - Terry Theise Learn More
  5. Selbach-Oster Riesling Zeltinger Schlossberg 'Schmitt' 2016
    WA97
    $49.98

97 Points! The 2016 Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Auslese "Schmitt" (AP 24 17) is a very clear, fresh and precise on the nose, with very fine mineral aromas of crunchy slate. This reminds me a bit of the Wehlener Sonnenuhr in its finesse, perfectly ripe fruit and the finest possible expression of minerals in wine. This is the finest Schmitt I have ever had and surely one of the greatest 2016s from the Mosel. Its finesse and elegance are mind-blowing. - Stephan Reinhardt, robertparker.com Learn More

94 Points! The 2017 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett is bright in color and flavors—it's very elegant and subtle on the deep, refined and aromatically discreet nose. Salty-piquant, vibrantly fresh and even racy on the palate, this is a juicy, intense, very complex, straight and crystalline Riesling with a seemingly coolish character but a warm and wide soul. The finish is piquant, fresh and salty, with the tension of iron. This is still young but already very attractive. Tasted in March 2019. - Stephan Reinhardt, robertparker.com Learn More

  11. Meyer Nakel Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir) Rosé 2018
    $22.98
    Availability:In Stock
A few years back when we started to see the first Germans roses, our first thought was that the 'fad' had gone too far. But as soon as we started tasting them, we were convinced that this was something that went beyond mere copycatting. One of our first experiences with Deutscher pinks was this one and we have been fans ever since. So what does a 100% Pinot Noir Rosé crafted by the best Pinot Noir producer in Germany taste like? It is pretty special stuff. It is light and fresh enough on the palate but still feels like a red wine by virtue of its palate weight and presence. What is it with Pinot Noir Pinks and the Germans? These guys are making better pink wine from this grape variety than anyone else in the whole entire world. This one excites with its red cherry and strawberry echo, dense yet pinpoint mid-palate and that elusive combination of 'serious' and 'joy' that separates the great pinks from the good ones. It can play with 'serious' food as well. Learn More
