  1. Hubert Lignier Clos de la Roche Grand Cru 2016
    WA97-99
    NM97-99
    $399.98
    Availability:In Stock
The 2016 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru is matured in 30% new oak with up to 30% whole cluster fruit, two-thirds from Montluisants and one-third Fremiers. It has an intoxicating bouquet that is extraordinarily complex: shimmering red berry fruit, blood orange, incense and a touch of crushed violet. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannin, wonderful depth and harmony, laser-like focus toward the finish that lingers in the mouth. Stunning mineralité here—the tongue feels as if it licked limestone 30 second after the wine has disappeared. If there is a better Clos de la Roche then I have not tasted it (yet). - Neal Martin, robertparker.com Learn More
  2. Ponsot Morey St. Denis 1er Cru Cuvee des Alouettes 2005
    BH91
    WA90-92
    VM90-92
    $159.98
    Availability:In Stock
This is very ripe, indeed so ripe that it stops just short of surmaturité yet the jammy aromas of black cherry and raspberry remain fresh and bright, leading to mouth coating and exceptionally rich and velvety flavors that are quite forward but are supported by almost invisible tannins underneath all of the palate saturating sap. This has grand cru size and weight if not the sheer depth and this is a harmonious and balanced effort. Very impressive and recommended. Outstanding. - Allen Meadows, Burghound #29 Learn More
  3. Ponsot Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Cuvee Vieilles Vignes 2001
    BH93
    WA93
    $519.98
    Availability:In Stock
Ponsot's 2001 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Cuvée Vieilles Vignes is going from strength to strength, and this bottle was showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with notes of red plums, smoked duck, cherries, spices, mustard seed and potpourri. On the palate, it's full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with chalky but melting tannins, tangy acids and a long, stony finish. Somewhat rustic in profile, it isn't the most elegant vintage of Ponsot's Clos de la Roche, but it's beginning to drink well today. - William Kelley, robertparker.com, 2018 Learn More
  4. Hubert Lignier Morey Saint Denis Trilogie 2015
    WA92
    VM90
    $84.98
    Availability:In Stock
92 Points! The 2015 Morey Saint Denis "Trilogie" hails from old vine "Pinot Fin" in the lieux-dits of Chenevery, Clos Solon and Porroux, giving a nice composite picture of Morey. Beautiful notes of plums, black cherry and spice introduce a full-bodied, richly structured wine with great depth and persistence, underpinned by wonderfully fresh acids. You really sense the creamy concentration from the old vines, which yielded a mere 26 hectoliters per hectare in this vintage. It would be difficult to find a better Morey villages than this superb wine from Laurent Lignier. - William Kelley, Wine Advocate

  5. Hubert Lignier Morey Saint Denis 1er Cru La Riotte 2015
    WA90
    VM90
    $149.98
    Availability:In Stock
90-92 Points! The 2015 Morey St Denis 1er Cru La Riotte has an elegant bouquet with lifted redcurrant and raspberry scents, nicely defined with just a hint of menthol developing in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp, tensile tannin. There is plenty of black fruit here, good grip with a firm, quite masculine finish. It will gain more flesh by the time it is in bottle. - Neal Martin, Wine Advocate

  6. Coquard Loison Fleurot Morey Saint Denis 2016
    WA90
    $54.98
    Availability:In Stock
90-92 Points! The 2016 Morey-Saint-Denis Village comes from three parcels that total around 0.70-hectare. It has a very seductive bouquet with raspberry preserve and subtle blueberry notes, detailed and feminine, practically premier cru in complexity. The palate is medium-bodied with fine crunchy tannins that frame the bright and vivid red fruit. It is the very precise finish that confirms this as premier cru in all but name. What an outstanding village cru. This comes highly recommended. - Neal Martin, Wine Advocate

  7. Forey Morey St. Denis 2014
    $54.98
    Availability:In Stock
This is at once more elegant and more complex with its cool and airy nose of red and dark pinot fruit that is amply laced with earth and floral hints. The mouth feel of the delicious medium-bodied flavors is once again fleshy and generous with enough supporting acidity to maintain the balance. This forward effort should drink well early. - Allen Meadows, Burghound #61
