93-95 Points! The 2017 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru is very promising, unfolding in the glass with aromas of lemon oil, grapefruit, mandarin, crisp green apples and white flowers. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, elegantly textural and beautifully pure, with bright acids, a tight-knit core and a long, detailed finish. The Bâtard saw no new oak this year, and it's all the more integrated and classy for it. - William Kelley, robertparker.com Learn More

    BH91
    $59.98
    Availability:Out of Stock
91-93 Points!  The wood influence is a bit more prominent that it still remains relatively subtle and easily allows the spicy aromas of earth, lavender and red currant that evidence an interesting hint of tangerine peel to shine. The rich, intense and well-delineated medium weight flavors possess a positively gorgeous mouth feel while displaying outstanding persistence on the balanced finish that really fans out as it sits on the palate. This is first-rate. Sweet Spot Outstanding. - Allen Meadows, Burghound #70

Once again the mouth feel of the refined medium-bodied flavors is quite sleek while displaying both good detail and richness on the driving and beautifully complex finale where a hint of bitter lemon zest surfaces. 7. Maltroye Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot Vigne Blanche 2016
    BH92
    VM91
    $79.98

92 Points!  Moderately firm post-bottling reduction overshadows the fruit at present to be sure to give this a thorough aeration if you're going to crack a bottle young. Otherwise the succulent and lavishly rich middle weight plus flavors possess plenty of dry extract that imparts an opulent mouth feel to the saline-inflected and strikingly long finale. This isn't refined but it's certainly impressive in its fashion. Outstanding - Allen Meadows, Burghound #71

  8. Marc Morey Chassagne Montrachet 2014
    WA90
    $58.98
    Availability:In Stock
90 Points!  The 2014 Chassagne-Montrachet Villages, matured in 15% new oak with part of the crop matured in stainless steel, possesses good volume on the nose with citrus fruit and lime flower leaping from the glass. This is a nose with a spring in its bounce. The palate is taut and crisp, very well balanced, lively and tensile, with the complexity nudging premier cru in quality. This is one of the best Chassagne Villages that you will find. Nice one, Sabine! - Neal Martin, robertparker.com

  9. Caroline Morey Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Chaumees 2016
    VM91
    $99.98
    Availability:Out of Stock
91+ Points! (from 60+-year-old vines on limestone-rich soil in the upper part of the cru just below an old quarry): Pale, bright yellow. Aromas of pear and white peach are lifted by musky powdered stone. Distinctly more minerally and saline than the village wine, showing less easy sweetness and pliancy but sharper delineation and more inner-mouth tension. This soil-driven wine finishes with excellent mineral grip and length. This will need at least a couple years of cellaring to unwind. This very dry, salty wine really dusts the palate with citrus peel and crushed stone. - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media

  10. Caroline Morey Criots Batard Montrachet Grand Cru 2016
    VM93
    $499.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points! Pale, bright straw-yellow. Musky peach, pear, menthol and smoky minerality on the reduced nose. Densely packed, salty wine with lurking orchard and stone fruit flavors currently overshadowed by a distinctly smoky quality and salty minerality. This too is rather reduced but conveys strong savory, smoky soil tones and a thickness of texture. A bit richer than the above but with a deeper pitch, and less harmonious today. Has plenty of acidity but not quite the lift of the Caillerets. Held up beautifully in the recorked bottle. - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous Media
