  1. Marietta Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Yorkville Highlands Game Trail 2016
    VM94
    $29.98
    Availability:In Stock
94 Points! Marietta's 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Game Trail is powerful, dark and quite savory. Smoke, tobacco, gravel, menthol, cedar and licorice all run through this bold, pungent mountain Cabernet. There is quite a bit of aromatic intensity to play off the blackberry fruit in this strapping young wine. Give it a few years in bottle for the tannins to soften. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media Learn More
  2. Husch Chenin Blanc Mendocino County 2018
    $10.98
    Availability:In Stock
This is a marvelous throwback (though it's not a throwback to Husch as they have always made it this way).  They started in 1984 and have been making one of the best in the state ever since.  Yeah, Chenin has a bad rap thanks to a lot of mass produced examples when the genre was widely popular in the '70s.  But a well made Chenin still has a place at the table or on the porch.  We think a touch of sweetness is necessary to offset the blazing acidity in this varietal, and this is a super refreshing display of orange, peach and melon flavors with a hint of ‘stone’ and great cut to the finish.  It has the same kind of food versatility as their gewurz, and is, again, silly 'cheap'.

  3. Halcon Estate Syrah Alturas Yorkville Highlands 2015
    JD94
    WA94
    VM93
    $29.98
    Availability:In Stock
94 Points! The 2015 Syrah Alturas is also a beauty that has a passing resemblance to a good vintage of Guigal’s Côte Rôtie la Mouline (just with less oak). Violets, incense, spring flowers, blackberries and blueberry notes all flow to a full-bodied, elegant, seamlessly textured Syrah that has plenty of classic pepper and spice, solid mid-palate depth and ripe tannin on the finish. It needs an hour in the decanter if drinking over the coming 2-3 years, and will have 15+ years of overall longevity. - Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com

  6. Marietta Cellars Syrah Gibson Block 2014
    WA91
    VM93
    $29.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points!  The 2014 Estate Syrah Gibson Block, a Syrah-based field blend, exudes depth and concentration. Black cherry, blackberry, cloves, leather and licorice give the wine its inner sweetness and textural richness, but there is also plenty of aromatic freshness and lift. Violet, camphor, savory herb and scorched earth give the wine a real sense of gravitas.

  7. PWR Wines Zinfandel Poor Ranch Mendocino 2014
    $14.98
    Availability:In Stock
From the Winery: The Poor Ranch was first planted in the 1880s on a hillside east of Hopland, in Mendocino County. The vineyard is dry-farmed and certified CCOF-Organic. The vines have never been irrigated. The vineyard blocks range from 860'- 1800' elevation, and are almost always high above the fog that can affect much of Mendocino County. Our 2014 Zinfandel comes from the Easter Block, a 2.6-acre block planted at 900' in 1996. It has yielded a mere 2.0 tons to the acre over the past decade. The finished wine is beautiful, with complex fruit flavors including blueberry, blackberry and raspberry, and a deliciously silky texture.
