  1. Bedrock Evangelho Vineyard Heritage Red Wine Contra Costa County 2018
    $35.98
    Availability:In Stock
Winery notes: Own-rooted on forty-foot-deep banks of beach sand alongside the Sacramento River Delta, Evangelho is a totally unique site. Planted in the 1890s, the vineyard is a viticultural survivor—wedged between a PG&E plant, a Burger King, and a motel that rents rooms by the hour. A field-blend of Zinfandel, Carignane, Mourvedre, and others, the wines are fresh, bright, and typically have some of the lowest pHs of any of the Bedrock wines. Learn More
  2. Bedrock The Bedrock Heritage Red Wine Sonoma Valley 2018
    $49.98
    Availability:In Stock
Winery notes: The O.G. of Bedrock Wine Co.! These vines turned 131 years in 2018 and decided it would be a great year to turn out a relatively small crop of delicious and dense fruit. As always, the wine, though based around Zinfandel, is a field-blend of the 27 varieties found in the old vines at my family’s site in the heart of Sonoma Valley, including about 20% Carignan and 5% Mataro. Like the other Sonoma Valley "Grand Cru" sites, this will definitely reward time in the decanter or a few years on its side to start showing all of its secrets. The most consistently decorated of our wines (the 2016 was the Spectator #10 wine of the year and the 2017 just got another 95), the 2018 should be another classic. Learn More
  3. Honig Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2018
    WS91
    $15.98
    Availability:In Stock
91 Points! Succulent peach, nectarine and dried mango flavors are intense and vibrant, showcasing plenty of style, with a note of honeysuckle lingering effortlessly. - Wine Spectator Learn More
  4. Charles Krug Sauvignon Blanc St. Helena Napa Valley 2018
    $14.98
    Availability:In Stock
Winery notes: Fruit for our Sauvignon Blanc, principally sourced from our historic St. Helena estate, was hand-picked in the cool of night to ensure it reached the winery in pristine condition. The freshly picked grapes were cold-soaked on the skins for 6-8 hours, before going to press, a process that enhances the fruit’s natural aromatics. The wine was cold fermented slowly in stainless steel tanks to further its wonderfully aromatic bouquet and delicate flavor profile. This light to medium-bodied wine displays vibrant, finely balanced acidity with notes of lime and grapefruit on the nose and flavors of citrus and passionfruit on the palate. Learn More
  5. Cliff Lede Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2018
    WS91

  7. Neyers Chardonnay 304 (Unoaked) Sonoma County 2018
    $19.98
    Availability:In Stock
Winery notes: At Neyers Vineyards, we use the term ‘304’ to distinguish our bottling of Chardonnay fermented in stainless steel. It’s a wine made with no oak contact. The term ‘304’ was coined by the steel industry for ‘food grade’ stainless steel which has been used for high quality fermentation tanks since Ch. Latour introduced the idea to the wine world in the early 1960’s. Learn More
  8. Farmstrong Field Rosé 2018
    $16.98
    Availability:In Stock
"The Farmstrong Field Rosé is the result of an intentional rosé program, picked expressly for rosé and 100% whole cluster pressed. This blend is from two vineyard sites in northern Mendocino’s Redwood Valley: Carignane from the 80 year old vines in Hawkeye Ranch (50%), Zinfandel(50%) from 48 year old vine in KenMar Vineyard. Hawkeye Ranch is owned and farmed by the Johnsons, who are 5th generation growers and true stewards of the land. KenMar is owned and Farmed by Ken and Margo Schrock. The Carignane and Zinfandel are picked several weeks before I pick them for the Field Red. The Carignane and Zinfandel press juice was cold settled and then racked and combined as juice and a native fermentation was carried out, all as one lot. After dryness the rosé was aged in neutral French oak and received lees stirring until the wines was bottled in the spring." - Owner/winemaker Faith Armstrong Foster Learn More
  9. Bold Wine Co. Sauvignon Blanc Monterey 2018
    $18.98
    Availability:In Stock
No one we know thinks of the Arroyo Seco area as a hotbed for Sauvignon Blanc. But maybe that’s because they haven't been looking in the right place. Miller found Zabala Vineyards in one of the warmest subsections of this narrow west-facing valley shielded by the Santa Lucia Mountains. Planted in 1972, it is one of Monterey County’s oldest vineyards with soils of sandy loam covered with round riverbed stones. The vineyard is family-owned, impeccably cared-for, and certified organic. The Bold Wine Co. Sauvignon Blanc Monterey 2018 itself is an intriguing expression of the varietal. There is plenty of richness in the herb-laced grapefruit, melon and pear fruit, plenty of freshness while the acids are not overly aggressive, and a remarkable sense of harmony. It lacks the edgy bite that a lot of California Sauvignons possess and rather presents a rounder yet still lifted presentation of the varietal. For under $20, it is an excellent choice and given the production (a mere 268 cases of wine) we’d consider this pretty much ‘insider trading. Learn More
  10. Husch Chenin Blanc Mendocino County 2018
    $10.98
    Availability:Out of Stock
This is a marvelous throwback (though it's not a throwback to Husch as they have always made it this way).  They started in 1984 and have been making one of the best in the state ever since.  Yeah, Chenin has a bad rap thanks to a lot of mass produced examples when the genre was widely popular in the '70s.  But a well made Chenin still has a place at the table or on the porch.  We think a touch of sweetness is necessary to offset the blazing acidity in this varietal, and this is a super refreshing display of orange, peach and melon flavors with a hint of ‘stone’ and great cut to the finish.  It has the same kind of food versatility as their gewurz, and is, again, silly 'cheap'.

  11. Union Sacre Gewurztraminer Belle de Nuit Santa Lucia Highlands 2018
    $14.98
    Availability:In Stock
Winery notes: 100% destemmed like a red. Soaked in juice for 12 hours of skin contact to extract flavor. A natural pink comes from the skins. Fermented in tank and temperature controlled for 4 weeks at 50°F. Rack from heavy lees and aged 6 months in stainless steel. Riboli estate is situated in Santa Lucia Highlands in Monterey County. Weather is generously warm but never too hot, allowing the Gewürztraminer to come slowly to maturity. Cold nights and foggy mornings help give the grapes good acidity. Learn More
  12. Commanderie de la Bargemone Coteaux d'Aix en Provence Rosé 2018
    JD91
    WA90
    VM90
    $14.98
    Availability:In Stock
90 Points! The terrific (and fairly priced) 2018 Coteaux d'Aix en Provence Rose stood out among the 139 rosés I tasted blind during my late February trip to Provence. It combines hints of cantaloup with cassis in a medium-bodied, silky-textured wine that shows just a hint of leafiness on the finish. The blend is 40% Grenache, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Syrah, 10% Cinsault, and 5% Rolle. - Joe Czerwinski, robertparker.com Learn More
  13. Haarmeyer St Rey SRV Chenin Blanc 2018
    $14.98
    Availability:In Stock
Great stuff!  A wine produced from 'deep in the Delta', in the southern most part of the Clarksburg AVA.  As in Savennieres, ground zero for Chenin in France's Loire Valley, Haarmeyer makes several passes or, as the French call them, tries, through the vineyard to grab the best fruit, looking for a 'nexus of acidity, sweetness, flavor, and phenolic ripeness in order to produce Chenin Blanc that exceeds the expectations of Sacramento Delta wine'.
