  2. Greenock Creek Shiraz Barossa Valley Creek Block 2004
    WA99
    $99.98
    Availability:Out of Stock
99 Points!  The 2004 Shiraz “Creek Block” is near otherworldly. It was sourced from a 66-year-old vineyard with yields of 1.0 tons per acre and aged for 28 months in used American oak. It delivers a super-fragrant nose of smoked meat, bacon, violets, an earthy/truffle element, blackberry, and blueberry muffin. This leads to a full-bodied, voluptuous wine with gobs of spicy, complex blue and black fruit flavors, great balance, and a finish that just won’t quit. This loaded wine can be enjoyed now but will drink well for another 15-20 years. - Jay MIller, robertparker.com, 2007

  3. Florian Weingart Riesling Spatlese Schloss Furstenberg 2004
    WA90
    $29.98
    Availability:In Stock
90 Points! The 2004 Schloss Furstenberg Riesling Spatlese smells extravagantly of peach, cherry, pink grapefruit and vanilla. A suggestion of milkiness on the nose suggests to Weingart that perhaps this started into malo-lactic conversion. But, no matter, the wine is compelling. Sweet, honeyed and creamy in the mouth, it preserves enough citricity to stay lively and project its effusively ripe, subtly botrytized fruit personality into a gushing finish. This suggests the flavors of a young 1975, and its ample stuffing and residual sugar may well help to render it a good 20-year keeper. - David Schildknecht, robertparker.com Learn More
  4. Pavillon Blanc du Margaux Bordeaux Blanc 2004
    WS93
    WA93
    $194.98
    Availability:In Stock
93 Points!  Although this spectacular 2004 tips the scales at an astonishing 14.5% alcohol, it is an elegant white Bordeaux offering notes of honeyed grapefruit, melons, orange rinds, and lemon oil. Medium-bodied, rich, beautifully textured, and pure, it should evolve for 15-20 years. - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #165

  5. Bollinger Extra Brut R.D. 2004
    WS96
    JS97
    WA97
    $219.98
    Availability:In Stock
97 Points! Fermented in oak barrels and aged under natural corks for almost 13 years, Bollinger's 2004 R. D. Extra Brut blends 66% Pinot Noir with 34% Chardonnay from 16 crus, 88% of which are classified as Grand Cru. The wine opens with a very clear, deep, rich and aromatic but also pure and mineral-fresh nose of crushed rocks, cherries, brioche, pain aux raisin, white nougat, chalk and ripe, yellow-fleshed fruits. Highly elegant and complex on the weightless yet persistent and salty palate, this is an intense, densely woven, firmly structured yet elegant, beautifully refined and refreshing. A great Champagne on its way to improve over many years in the bottle. Tasted June 2018. - Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Spectator

94 Points–Tropically ripe, with dense yet creamy layers of guava, mango, lychee and papaya, all stitched with racy lemon cream and candied grapefruit peel notes. WA90
    VM91
    $49.98
    Availability:In Stock
91+ Points! (vinified with 75% whole clusters and 10% viognier) Good bright, deep ruby. High-pitched aromas of red berries, white pepper, brown spices and wild herbs, lifted by a note of rose petal. Juicy and penetrating; not a fleshy style but intensely flavored and light on its feet, with almost pinot-like floral lift to its berry, spice and pepper flavors. This wine, from a cold spot, is one of the lowest in alcohol of Pax's 2004 releases, at 14.6%. Finishes juicy and firmly tannic.
