The new 2020 Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de Labastida is made with grapes from 11 grape growers in the village with different lieux-dits ranging from 440 to 710 meters above sea level, and the final blend was 89% Tempranillo, 6% Graciano and 5% Garnacha. It should not be confused with the appellation Côte de Beaune-Villages, the latter given to wines coming from several villages of the Côte de Beaune (but not Beaune itself) and blended together. Côte de Beaune-Villages as an appellation is used only for red wines.

Lovely crushed stone and powdery texture to the tannins - they're prominent giving some tightness on the mid palate with a liquorice and dark chocolate edge to the frame towards the finish. Serious but well worked, lean but detailed, just a bit tense right now though does feel sculpted with a cool minty freshness on the finish. Tasted twice and kept the higher score. From vines planted in 1988 totaling .75 hectare, the parcel is situated at the one of the highest points and at the limit of the Saint-Aubin appellation on border of the Grand Cru of Chevalier-Montrachet.
