  1. Wine Advocate: "Hard to find a better Kabinett" 94pt Riesling Dream from Dr. Hermann!

Is there a doctor in the house? If you are talking about the Mosel, there are plenty of them, the most familiar being Dr. Loosen, Dr. Thanisch, and of course the vineyard named by a 14th Century abbot, Bernkasteler Doctor, because he felt drinking wine from that vineyard cured his illness. But today’s spotlight is on a ‘doctor’ you may be unfamiliar with, Dr. Hermann.
  2. 94pts & Only $19.98: One of our Top Bordeaux Deals of 2015 is BACK!

This was an instant sellout back in June of 2018 as this wine is simply amazing for the money. It’s funny what you may stumble upon and during our last trip to Bordeaux for Vinexpo, Kyle and I 'bumped into' another pallet of this fantastic 2015 Pessac-Leognan bargain!
  3. Miss the Labet? We've got your back with MORE Limited Burg Bargains!

It’s always a problem when we’re talking about Burgundy wine, it’s the gosh-darn quantities! It seems they never make enough of this stuff, all pulled from backyard-sized micro-parcels. Our backup offer will do nothing to break that trend. In fact, these wines, both from brilliant Bourgogne vineyards in the village of Nuits St. Georges, are actually tinier in quantity!
  4. Miss the '15 Carbonaione? We've Got your Back with More Top Tuscans!

Here’s a stunning quintet of 97 and 98 pointers from Tuscany that are sure to get your juices flowing, provided you’re fast enough to buy them!
  5. 93pt Marietta: Galloni's Greatest American Cab Under $20 In Stock Now!

“…the Armé is a superb value in California Cabernet.” – Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media
  6. Double 93pt Sub-$20 Tuscan Insta-Legend from La Massa!

It’s been fun watching the evolution of Fattoria La Massa, a 65-acre vineyard which enjoys a southern exposure in the famed Conca d’Oro (Golden Basin) of Panzano. This Route des Grands Crus in Chianti Classico also includes such other luminaries as Fontodi and Castello dei Rampolla. Essentially, a half dozen of Italy’s greatest wines are made in this tiny little sub-zone.
  7. A Double 97pt Barbaresco Triumph from Musso, Only $39.98!

Who's Musso? Good question. We didn't know either and we've been selling Barbaresco and visiting the area off and on for over two decades! The winery isn't big, but boy are they working with the right stuff.
  8. Monga Attacks! 92pt Century-Vine Zin Is Only $21.98!

Monga Zin winemaker Carol Shelton summed it up best when she wrote: ”Located in the Cucamonga Valley in southern California 70 miles inland from Los Angeles, Jose Lopez Vineyard was planted in 1918 for "packing grapes" to ship to home winemakers in Chicago and the East. These old Zinfandel vines struggle in the near desert-like conditions; with rocky-sandy soil that holds very little water. After nine decades, they have only grown to about 18 inches tall, and have just a few tiny fist-sized clusters on each vine.”
  9. Miss the Chateauneufs? Here's a 94pt Rhone Red, Only $17.98!

OK, we’re still trying to figure this one out. How did these guys follow-up the heroic 2016 version of this wine with an even better wine in 2017? When you think about 2016 as a vintage, this wine in theory should be a close runner-up considering the quality of the harvests but, wouldn’t you know it, this 2017 is a home…run.
  10. Miss the Kitty? Here's Another Double 96 pointer from the Same Winemaker!

Miss the MCK? No worries, here’s another double 96-pointer from the SAME winemaker! Many of you don’t know Brennon Leighton but you certainly know his wines. He’s the Director of Winemaking at K Vintners, working with proprietor Charles Smith to craft some of the finest wines not just in Washington, but the world.
