Thanks for the nod

We'd like to say thank you to the Orange County Register, and in particular Paul Hodgins, for mentioning us in the Best of Orange County as a Critic's Choice for Best Wine Selection.  We take great pride in our selection as actually being a 'selection', picks we make with the idea of offering the best and most diverse assortment we can.  To us selection means variety, things from different regions, grapes and winemaking styles that give people a real choice. There were also some kind words about our service which we also appreciate.   The piece doesn't mention our prices however, which are among the best not only in Orange County, but in the country.  We don't spend a lot of time beating that drum, but we would invite people to compare.  To us low prices is an across the board proposition, not just a few loss leaders or the occasional 'sale'.
